Autos / Toyota Camry And Honda Accord by Frimoore(m): 4:50pm On Dec 02, 2011
Hello Nairalanders,

Seeking u guy's advise. Am presently using a 2005 Peugeot 407 but I want to change my car as I v been using it for 2 years now and am no longer comfortable with its sluggishness, high maintenance cost and high fuel consumption.
In view of this am considering either a 2007/2008 Toyota Camry SE or a 2008/2009 Honda Accord, hence I need u good people's advise or experience to make me reach a conslusion considering durability, movement, fuel consumption, availability of parts and maintenance etc.
God bless

Sexy Pam:

Hi, I am having seeeerious issues with the law website, the website says to check for admission status by the 30th of may and till now mine still says PENDING?!!! whats that about
And using their contact details provided on the website seems futile as they dont reply mails neither do they answer calls, please could someone address both issues because I'm getting worried,
Thanks y'all undecided

Hey Sexy Pam, dont get yourself worked up cos u aint out of track, U should know the Nigerian way by now and how inefficient they could be at times,i had to go to the Lw School myself to ascertain everything(as a matter of fact,i was there this morning) and they are working towards getting everything uploaded on the portal but late than they said (30th May) due to late arrival of some transcripts from abroad as well as faculty reference forms accompanying them,so its not a problem at all, though they advised me to look up the portal all though this week for further updates, Mind u that my own says the same PENDING as well as others, Where r u at now?? U mind sending me ur number to frimoore@lawyer.com so we could correspond better

This is possible, but may also mean it will be very late in the year.

Apparently, my friend said she called them and was told they do not know when the application will open. This is because there is a back log of Bar II students, so intead of admitting Bar I students for May/June, I think the remainder of Bar II students are being admitted.

Does that in any way suggest that this years May/June 2010 Bar Part 1 may be scrapped or not be held this year
Education / Re: Application To The Nigerian Law School- Bar Part One by Frimoore(m): 4:30pm On Apr 10, 2010
tayo4me:

Please I need some information on applying to Bar part 1 of the Nigerian Law School. Does your degree need to be an LLB? What if the degree awarded is not an LLB but all the required subjects like Contract, Constitutional etc were taken in University, would one still be admitted?

Can awaiting results candidates also apply? If yes, after how many months of study is one required to present the certificate?

A quick response would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yes,ur degree must be LLB, If it aint an LLB degree then u r not qualified regardless of the modules you have passed therein in the course of it.Awaiting results can apply but the result must have to be known just before the duration of the Bar Programme and you have succeeded in passing all the required modules as stipulated by the Nigerian Law Scool.
For more clarifications,visit www.mynlsp.com
Hope this helps

Frimoore your legal instinct is 100% wrong here, for sure DatNiggaA knows am not lying. I am not open to personal friendship aside of business relationship. Pls since you were not privy to our conversation dont you think that mere relying on instinct may be inaccurate. Pls we are ready to move on.

Thanks for acknowledging that the B & F word are unacceptable

Dear Deebeeg, well am entitled to my instinct which may be wrong or right but it is just an instinct though, but its all good my sister and i hope u guys resolve this amicably and forgive me if am wrong, God bless
Car Talk / Re: Siena,: Pls Help Me Out. by Frimoore(m): 6:31pm On Dec 04, 2009
Deebeeg, as s neutral and with my legal instinct as a lawyer,i put it to u that DatNiggaA or whatevr he is called is rightly aggrieved and u ought to have furnished him with whatever material he asked from u bearing in mind tht he is hurting having spent his hard earned money only to get a dysfunctional vehicle, as for insinuating that he was asking u for twitter or whatever,i put it to u that u are wrong as well and shouldnt ignore that cos ur customer can twitter u innocently on business purposes without any other intention and since he has rebuffed that he didnt even ask u for twitter since he doesnt even do it,u havent responded to that, suffice it to say that u lied there?
However it is good that u guys are at d virge of making up courtesy of great and wonderful nairalanders here like Sienna,Fhemmy etc, but u need to be more honest and straightforward with ur customers next time cos i know d guilty party here and ur customer isnt one.
Meanwhile i wish to use this opportunity to thumbs up SIENNA, he is God Sent to we car owners on nairaland and his versatile and unequalled experience and knowledge about cars is something tht always makes me say that my car(2005 Peugeot 407 SE) can never visit quack mechanics or even d so called hyped Peugeot dealerships in Abuja without consulting him and hearing his opinion, such people are supposed to have mega auto workshops in Nigeria for honest and hardworking Nairalanders, May God bless u and keep u SIENNA!
NB do not intend to stir d honets nest, but just an obiter dicta(if u understand what it means)
