I am now frustrated. I have tried to bottle this up for a long time. Thanks to Nairaland, I can share my feelings with others. I am just wondering why Nigeria isn't listed among other countries on most internet websites. What did we do wrong? Why are we ignored? Even with all the money we have and our purchasing power. I just can do a lot of things online because of this. Someone help me out. It's kinda fun because, you will always see Niger Republic conspicuously on all the list? Is it a confusion? Are they mistaking Niger for Nigeria? For example on this listed below, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and most West African countries are not there, but Niger is there? I think something should be done about this. We are Africa's second largest economy and deserve being treated with respect.

Hello Seun, How are you doing? Let me start by commending your great efforts and brilliance. I thought I was alone in this journey of giving Nigerians Naija-made ROMs. I am here not just be a consumer of your ROMs, but to contribute to the ROM building in Nigeria. I have the interest, and have started learning the basics. I will love to be under your tutelage. I messaged you at Google+. Kindly respond at your convenience. Thank you. |

ThanksThe traditional way is pounding with mortar till d mash is very smooth. You can use d manual grinding machine too. If u want use a blender, be careful to avoid overblending...Cheers... |

Mazi_Omenuko: The crowd screamed and jumped up hysterically as I opened my eyes and wondered why they were laughing at me. I was not the first player that fell on the pitch that day, why all the excitement at my falling. This is d best goal celebration Ive ever read. I could see myself standing just beside d right-side goal post. I even celebrated too...You are good... I couldn't tell why the keeper decided to dive in a direction opposite to where my gaze was fixed. Maybe he thought I was bluffing, but I wasn't. I kicked the ball exactly at the right hand side of the goalkeeper where my gaze was earlier fixed, but he dived towards his left and the ball rolled into the net.Keepers and their presumptions ehhh |
@Mazi Project Like has already begun. If you notice, you older posts are smiling with Likes. Pardon me for not contributing much. Im still struggling to catch up with you (page 60 right now). I dont want to post some bunch of retrogressive comments. Pray that I catch up so dat we can b in sync. Happy new week my compatroits. Love you all... |
@Everyone.Following.Dis.Thread: I observed this abnormaly, or should I put it as ungratefulness on our part as readers. I observed that most of the uploads made by Mazi end up without any "Likes", but we keep screaming for more! In forum clicking on like or thank you is highly encourage. It is a physical evidence of our appreciation to the poster. It is very disheartening to see some frivolous comments receiving as much as 10 like as was d case when Cuddlemii was exchanging words with Mazi, but when Mazi uploads, we all read (clean our mouths without saying thanks) and d nxt second, we are screaming for more uploads... As a matter of fact, I am beginning a new project on dis thread. It is called "Project Like." Join the team, return to as much mazis uploads as u can and click like. It is d least we can do for him...thanks. |
@Mazi Lemme start by saying well done on this fantastic masterpiece. I started reading this story abt 2 wks ago when it was already 100 pages old. But I was determined to follow up the story from scratch. Probably, if not for the comments, I would hv finished by now. However, d comments and bickering even made reading d story more interesting. I have struggled to reach page 56, & Im dropping this comment as my will, in case Im unable to finish the story. Mazi! You have done well. Im proud of you as a compatroit, a fellow mechanical engineer, and a fellow believer in knowledge sharing. Kudos to the top commenters on this thread: gluv, itbomb, wizee, hnb, yellow mosquito, etc. You guys rock! We are a new generation of Nigerians. I hope that this work will be developed into a real romance novel with bold tag, "Proudly Nigerian." Im sure it will a best-seller. Nigerians want to read more of their literatures. We are tired of reading about blonde hairs, serial killers, fbi, white house, etc... We want someone who can take us into the inner rooms of Aso Rock and senate chambers, reveal the beauty of Obudu cattle range, ikogosi spring, and Elegushi beach through d powerful and timeless lenses of literatures. Nigerians want to read but 'our' literatures are almost nonexistent. God took Chinua Achebe away recently, but I believe that He is breeding new generation Nigerians to take up his mantle. Well done once again. |
OmolodMilkman93: pls der is dis one dey call Native soup, dem dey usually dey slice kpomo put inside, do u knw hw to cook dat one too, d tin dey scatter my head,... I go need d recipe too,.... Tanks in advanceI will give u d recipe later. In case I forget, kindly PM me. Happy Easter. |

Orpelin: Don't marry a man that can not take care of your financial needs,"This statement, to me, is relative. Financial needs has levels. For a low-income woman, financial needs does not include buying the latest camry or travelling to dubai for shopping. |
Networkmaster: chSo na you be that ISP man behind the seen wey the block me when I wan do some ojoro!! sheY?? Well done sha ![]() |
ifyalways: It would have made some sense if the OP said "how Yoruba's would have invented computers . . ."The first thing I observed was the dots on the letters. Yeah, that would have been a better title. |
