I saw this and I needed you to clear something for me. I have MBA but because I am changing career to social work ( to face the NGO I have registered since 2016) I applied for an advanced diploma of 2 years. What's your thought on this quote author=igbarasdynasty post=88932766] Going for a college diploma program is a Red flag already.... It's Questionable... You won't be seen as a genuine student given your status and age....
|

Thanks JustMellow quote author=JustMellow post=89186139] Hello Fruitfulie, In paying your tuition fees, you should contact your prospect school directly to get first-hand information or check your admission letter if its written. Your other question is incomplete. For broader advises, you should state if its a self-sponsored or spouse sponsorship and if its a family application, if I got you currently. Also, details about your previous refusal; date applied and refused, complete reason(s), GCMS notes remarks, personal circumstances. This would enable people to advise against or opting for a family application. BTW I am very much interested on this NGO initiative of yours. All the best
|

Thanks so much for your response. I would stick to your advise to go with my little baby first, and in few months request for my spouse and older daughter. As per SOP, you mean I should project strong reasons for deviation to the school and most especially to consular right. To be sincere, I am changing career as day in day out, I am loving my probono adventures more than my profession. However, I am opened to any advise anyone has so far its in line. Thanks Qudkom. God bless you quote author=Qudkom post=89186098] Sorry about your previous refusals. However, there isn't a direct answer to your questions but I'll say this; 1. You only need to show proof of funds for the first year. So you add up your tuition for a year, living expenses for a year, additional living expenses for accompanying family members. 2. It will be wise to apply alone with your infant child. When you get in your husband can join you on open work permit. 3. If you got refused based on not convincing them you'll return in your previous applications then it is better not to complicate issues by applying with your family. That I believe is a red flag. 4. You need a super convincing SOP for deviating to the field you chose and for also going for a PGD program after your MBA. This is the most important part.
|

Good day house. Congrats to all those who have gotten lead for visas. I pray for successful outcomes in Jesus name. Twice I applied to Canada last year to put to bed but I was denied. My elder brother resides there and he asked that I should come over to have my baby. Anyway they denied me twice... Reason for refusal I couldn't prove to them I would return after delivery. In any case I lost interest.. However I got charged up recently to reapply through study route. I have my MBA (Which Wes has evaluated) I intend applying for Child and Youth Care. I am applying for this course based on passion. I have an NGO which focuses on helping vulnerable children. The NGO was registered 2016, and to the glory of God we are making impact. The school in view is Sheridan College for January 2021 admission. My questions. The school fees 13,000 dollars(rough estimate) per year. The course is for 2 years. I am yet to know how much I would deposit in order to get receipt. How much should my bank account balance show in order to allow me pursue this dream and also bring along my family Husband and 2 children. Thanks E dakun e LA mi Lo yee |

Having applied in the last week of in December 2018, I did my bio-metrics first week January 2019. i followed the advise given here by mentioning that i would be having my baby while on visit to my brother. The response to application came yesterday and I was denied. It was specifically mentioned that my coming to have baby was the reason for denial. This is not to say anyone should lie about their intentions, I am just giving feedback.................. I hereby pray for as many that are awaiting decisions, that the results shall favor you all. e seun o. 1 Like |

Thanks sis. You have been so helpful. Please is there a way my brother can speak to you concerning the challenges I am faced with. Honestly, I just want to travel without lying or causing him to lose his PR. I don't mind an email... Hotstepper: |

Perence: Good morning my sister. I am due in May and at this point I am really getting worked up. I am seriously fighting anxiety. My lilttle brother is a PR and I do not in anyway wish to implicate him by not fully declaring I am coming to give birth. He is aware of my stand but he feels declaring it may hinder my chances. I would like to find out the following Have you gotten your Visa... Are you travelling with your family... Is it possible to fill vacation and birth tourism on a single application form. If no how best can I indicate my main intention of giving birth. Have you gotten your reserved flight ticket without payment. Can you share your budget sheet and statement of purpose with me. |

Good morning all. Having read all the pages of this conversation, i realize that making known ones intention if pregnant is the best and honest way, which i am also adopting. However i would like to ask some questions so as not to make mistakes. 1. My brother who is based in Canada is inviting me to give birth in Toronto where he resides. 2. Can we apply for a family visa even though my husband would be joining me much later when i put to bed but my daughter would be staying back in Nigeria as social ties. Does this make sense or i should go alone and much later my husband and daughter apply later 3. Does my employer have to state on my letter that I am entitled to 66 days maternity leave, alongside with other information that would be written on the introductory letter from my employer?if anyone have copy of such letter for maternity leave for visa application, i would like to have a view of the content. 4. When exactly do I need an itinerary plan/budget spreadsheet for visa application or POE engagement? Sample of itinerary plan and budget spreadsheet are also needed please. 5. Do I need a correspondence between myself and the doctor for application purposes or at POE? |

Morning all. Please lets not turn here to battlefield Oh. Let's bound and either Elpaso or Mihs, let us know the main reason for our trip is safe delivery, hassle free visa in and out, friendship, and quality services. Or rather we make use of our Island Maternity and face the horror of those MAMA matrons. My hubby us trying to get another appointment for us to both attend the interview again.I pray this time around we get a better deal by His Grace. If you have been refused visa in Lagos and you appeared after a while,I would like to find out what's ur experience altru. Because ....my mind Don dey go Brazil o....Cos once you have a baby there ,you, hubby and other immediate siblings go get instanta citizenship. Am not an agent o.....but it's real..... 3 Likes |

My fellow mamas&papas, My refusal page note goes this way, dear applicant...a denial section 233...means that you did not meet th ed requirements of the classification of non immigrant visa for which you applied. I have choice to reapply but I should provide information that was not presented in your original application or to have demonstrated that your circumstances have changed since that application. It's quite different from what he kept on hammering on my husband refusal to follow me. Am on a fat size does it mean I must wear clothes that would reveal my state or that I shudder get possibly my scan results together for them to see. Or I shudd remove my blouse for all to see I was pregnant.....lols. I showed the man my hospital stuff, and also my correspondence with the hospital. Oro ree o eyin ojogbon... Discuss me and lets guide others with my experience. No two similar cases of visa interview is same.......a. guy came with family album, children, and all....he was denied o |

We would maintain for medical reason.all our documents remain intact and intensify our prayers. I thank God for the outcome trusting Him for success for others including my next application. Thanks all.My American baby cometh...... 1 Like |

Phema:It was a brief one. He asked what I was going to do in USA Texas precisely.I said to deliver my baby.asked for letter from my doctor I showed him. He asked if I was married and when,I told him yes am married.he asked when ,I told him 3/10/13.he asked if I was pregnant, and I told him yes and how many months gone I was.I said 4months and two weeks.he asked if my husband was travelling with me,I said by the time I would put to bed he might be busy at work. He then gave me the refusal sheet. My question is do I reapply alongside with my husband in three weeks time? Insisting on medical or what do I say we want to go and do there? |

I would be using elpaso as my hospital and I already have my letter of responsibility sent via email.is that all I would be getting from them. Also would like to know if there planes flying directly from naija to elapso. I would be going by October ending by His grace,so if there are people who would be going around that time please lemme know. |
