The authentic deputy National Spokesperson of the NDC has since denied any zoning arrangement and has said the party is yet to reach an agreement on zoning and if so, which zone it will go to.

This statement was made on the 8th of May in response to the false narrative being peddled online that the NDC had zoned their ticket .

Also we saw how LP in the last election was giving their slots in Lagos to mostly Ibos.

It was Kwankwasso's aide that started the lie that the NDC had zoned their presidential ticket to the south sometime in early May at which point both your Giringori and Kwankwasso had yet to defect to NDC.

That lie was circulated by Buba Galadima who wasn't even in the NDC when he made that statement and it is now obvious it was a ploy to get Giringori to defect to the NDC.

Now the authentic National Spokesperson for the NDC has refuted those claims and stated on May 8th this last Friday , that no such agreement had been reached by the NDC.

So pls, can you tell us if Buba Galadima who wasn't in the NDC and is not even an appointed spokesperson of the party will make such blatant lie and why you guys and your Giringori all fell for it ?

The Umaiha faction of LP decided to appoint Obidients to assume exco positions within their faction across states in the polity.
In SW and Lagos, the Umaiha faction which Giringori belonged to decided to select and annoint only Ibos to positions to much displeasure by the Yoruba Buts in the obidients.

You know Labor Party wasn't also paying as much, coupled with the belief most Southwesterners had about Labor Party being an Igbo party, so they were not coming forth and those that reluctantly joined were reluctant to take up leadership position in Labor Party.


I used to join their live meetings and I remember when election was drawing near and the LP Chairmen in Lagos complained that they didn't have enough party agents to man the polling units for Labor Party, so they called for members to volunteer and sometimes they appointed people who are core Lagos indigenes and they would say no oh, abeg sir find another person because I no want my people wahala. At the end, it was mostly Southeasterners that volunteered alongside some Southsouth and Northcentral people.


I am sure the same thing is playing out again in NDC
