I think this prophecy is hopeful only in Africa. Make una kontinu. Other parts of the world marriage is almost meaningless, people have learnt how to exist on their own, women don't even send men except the ones that marry to inherit the man's wealth. So this prophecy I guess is only for the day dreams of African men

That said, I do understand OP's view and yeah Iv seen that women these days are the fair majority in some institutions. We are taking education and career more seriously these days than our male counterpart so I can see where the OP is heading to. I'l speak personally for myself and thank God I don't have to share my man with 6 other women... heads will roll!!!

well, are we not saying the same thing? you said "some" of you marry men within your age range and i said "most" ladies nowadays marry their fathers' age mate because they place education and business before man (and in some cases before God). so be happy you didn't jump in the same wagon with the unfortunate majority..

More male child die at infancy and childhood, more men die in wars, armed robbery, cultism, terrorism, fights, wars and men don't live as long as women.

But when you factor in all the aforementioned factors that hinders the growth of male population and that the fact that all prisons and detention facilities worldwide holds more men in captivity than women, you realise you don't have a prayer.

let's just forget about the untimely, hazardous deaths which tend to claim the lives of men most of the time...there are also established facts that women have a higher life span than men..

you didn't get the gist. it's a commonplace today that the average young lady (not the useless feminists/lesbians) prioritizes education and white collar job in a bid be at par or even surpass the average man........but the irony is, when she eventually attains the age of marriage she settles with a man old enough to be her father or a guy in the fine-boy-no-money class. it's no only war that reduces the number of men but the growing number of women competing with men in work environment..
