For my previous pregnancy it came after one month but I thought it was cuz I wasn't breastfeeding after I lost the child.

No worries at all! It happens to many women. Thing is it will be very heavy with clots and may flow for longer days! So just stuck up on plenty pads and watch your back often cos you may very likely stain easily.

If you're not doing exclusive then it can happen. However has your lochia stopped? If not it could be lochia and if it is, it means you've been stressing yourself and are not allowing yourself to heal. You need to take it easy oh, no strenous activities or excessive bending, CS is a major surgery

Thanks mumsy...... The lochia has stopped around 4weeks. Have been on ebf. Well you could be right, it could be stress cos I have no one with me not until last week before I got someone to com help me out. It could also be excessive bending like you say.

Should I worry?

My lo went for his immunization yesterday. He really did not cry like I thought he would. All he just did was to sleep in my arms all through the night till the morning which was a bit stressful for me but all the same he is fine.

I have a question to ask....... How possible is it for someone's menstrual period to come back after one month of delivery.

I think mine just came back after one month of delivery (cs) but the blood is so thick and red ehn. Even if I want to pee, the blood can come out much into the WC. It is well aha.

Give him paracetamol syrup immediately before leaving home and 6hrs later. My lo only cried as the nurse administered the vaccine. She didn't cry afterward or have raised temperature.

I'm not doubting you but if you actually read about reflux, you'll see it is an effortless spit up or vomiting in babies. I don't know where you saw forceful vomiting. Some reflux actually occurs because the digestive system is not fully developed and corrects itself with time.
I wish I can send you some links but please search babycenter and see other mums experience before they start loading your baby with medication. Thank you.

He has not vomited since I came back from the hospital yesterday. I guess I have to make him burp before putting him down and I have to rock him a while before he sleeps, it has worked for me since last night.

We ran some test this morning.

FBC - Full blood count. Mp - Malaria parasite. ESR - Erythrocyte sedimentation rate.

Everything was okay.

I suggest you read about reflux and mention it to your paediatrician on your next visit. Sometimes Nigerian doctors tend to forget some issues they don't handle frequently just like allergies in children.
What you described above looks like reflux and may not necessarily be caused by anything but just needs proper handling.
Read up on reflux and let's know what your doctor says.

I just read on reflux...... It is not what is happening to him. He is not forcefully vomiting.

Well, since we returned from the hospital, he has not vomited. I time him before feeding him sha.

So when he cries, I don't feed him immediately, I just rock him, and sometimes he sleep off

Well I don't know..... I feed him once he cry. The doctor told me its over feeding.

Going to the hospital today. We were told to ran some test.

Am not cool with hourly calculated feeding. I feed when I see they are hungry or on a good interval.

What your son is experiencing is over feeding, now that was the same thing I experienced with my son then. He was always crying for food. And after feeding he would throw up the excess. Here is what the Paed. Advised and it worked:

feed very little quantity on a regular interval, I should ensure he is not well feed at a particular time.

2, ensure he belch and carry him on the shoulder for a. Few minutes before lying him down.

3, fold cloths into good shape nt too high and too low, rest. His head on it.

I was consciously doing these three, and I don't know when it all stopped.

Caution: as a first time mum with this, you need to be very at alert when he just finish eating and he wants to sleep, it can choke them. Ensure you practice the three above, you won't even know when it will stopped.

I am assuming you are ebf. It's feed on demand o no timing it but the age of the baby determines how often they eat. You need to state the age of your baby so one can tell if his behaviour is the usual thing for his age. Is he also just spitting up milk or is it vomiting with force?

My baby is just 4 weeks. He is just vomiting the milk. I'm on ebf.

Mamas I'm here again oooooo.

My baby boy has indigestion. He cries a lot at night and he doesn't sleep till day break.

I gave him food (breastfeed) in the morning which he vomitted everything after like two hours, some even came out from his nose. I quickly cleaned him up cos hubby too was scared ( we are first time parent)

Fast forward to the afternoon, I fed him again cos he was crying , immediately he burp, he vomittee everything again.

We noticed he will sleep a little, wake up cry , sleep back, wake up, cry and all that which was very unusual.

We had to take him to the hospital in the evening. The doctor we met examined him after I told her what brought us to the clinic. She touched his tommy and she said my baby is over fed and probably he doesn't burp before he is put to sleep.

She wrote some drugs and my hubby went to get them ......my baby as crying again and I decided to feed him , immediately he burp he vomitted again .

My questions:

Do anyone has that experience
How many hours interval should I breast feed him because I guess whenever he is crying, I would just feed him.

Please don't pass by......help a first time mum.

As a first time mum.......it has not been easy I must say.

The night vigil is so real.

My lo will be 4weeks on sunday. His sleeping pattern is something else.....jezzzzz

After morning bath, he sleeps till like 2pm, though wake up in between to suck. Then he sleep till like say 7pm.....sucking in between . but his fully awake from 12am till 5am crying and you must to carry him oooooo.

Kudos to mothers.

I hope this pattern changes. I hope so.

colic is the only thing that can mak babies cry for hours for no reason although no cure for it but remedie to relief it. U can let ur baby sleep on his tummy it will make him sleep longer and relief d colic. It's said to pass after 3month but some babies 2month

Thanks sis. I tried making him sleeps on his belly. He has not been crying oooh, in fact he is still sleeping self. I hope sleeping with his tummy is safe

I can so relate cos it's just as if you are describing my baby, you just have to endure, my baby now sleeps at night, not for long though but it's better than before, she's 5 weeks now. I hope yours get better too as time goes on. It is well

My Bs

I have passed all my due dates 12,13,14,17 and 19 .

My Lo did not come oooooooo.

Decided to see my doctor on the 18th as per my antenatal. He told me to come on 19th for ctg scan (to know the state of the baby in my belle)

The day came oooo, I went in for the ctg scan and I was told the baby was fine .

On the 20th which is on Saturday I went to the hospital for cervical ripping cos I was not contrasting at all. I was just there .

The process started by 8pm , catheter was inserted inside my veevee ......hmmmmm. Like about one hour later, the contraction started coming and going. I was taken to the prenatal ward to sleep but sleeping was so hard.

The next day 21st 05 2017,

I woke up with something pouring at my thigh, I checked and I saw it was blood and mucus coming out from the catheter . I told the matron, I was then taken to the labor ward.

When we got there , I was told to have my bath and I did, 10am I was wheeled to the delivery room for inducement , hmmmmmm...when the drip was placed that was when the drama started...... By 11/12 I was 5cm gone. Contraction was still hitting me hard.

The drip finished and I was placed on another one.

Screaming and shouting continued, was literally begging my lo to come out fast.

By 4pm, the doctor came to check me I was 8cm gone but my lo head was not descending......I was given injection on my thigh and also inside the drip to fasten everything and also to make my lo head descends.

But nothing happened oooo, by 9pm I was still 8cm . the head did not descend still. The contraction was super painful Chaiiii......

After 12hours of labor and painful contraction and his head refused to descend.

I was later wheeled to the theatre by 9:33pm......my beautiful boy was brought out 9:50pm. Weighing 3.55kg.

Born on my wedding anniversary..... Double celebration for us.

Please what can I do to make my n*ipple come out , I mean out oooo....... So that my baby can grab something.

If I put the n*ipple in his mouth, it just slip off and he start to cry. My breast is really heavy and today I tried to express it in a cup, it came out.

U can get d oldskool breastpump(pixs attached), and keep pumping and always put ur baby to it, d nipple will def come out.

I tried using that breast pump and I was able to extract some amount of milk which he took after having his bath and he slept off.

My notice:
When I was using the pump, my n*ipple came out oooo which I was happy but when I finished extraction , it went in a bit.

My question:
When will the n*ipple come out so well that my lo can be ale to grab?

IM SORRY FOR ASKING SO MUCH QUESTIONS.

PLEASE ANSWER A FIRST TIME MUMMY OOOOOOO.
