Give him cut-up bite size potatoes to munch on by himself while you watch. So he can start getting used to it. Does he eat rice?

Help me thank God oooo, my son now take bread, cake , akara and now beans ( though I still have to puree it for him)

Thank God the drug that we were told to buy, on a normal day, my son DOESN'T IT. As in once he sees food he starts to cry profusely as if you want to Lee him to the extend that our landlord will come and knock at our door.....it's that bad I tell you.

We have been to different pediatrician to complain about his eating habits and his weight. But thank God now, he is the one that do cry for food now.

I know with time he will catch up in times of weight

My cappoo, he doesn't take food that has texture or particles ooooo......I tried so hard, he would vomit it. So I puree it.

Good evening mothers......I have read all the food you pack for your sweet lo's . its quite encouraging. I wish my lo can take all that.

We clocked one on Monday, but he only take pap, cereal, sometimes puree (not always) I just introduced him to hollandia custard yesterday and he has been taking it without any wahala.

Please ma, how can I introduced these our normal food to eat. Another thing I found out is that he doesn't like to take any food that has particles or even small texture. He want everything smooth like pap.

sorry mama. I understand. pls don't force him to take wat he doesn't want. at least he takes fumula pap n cereal. he is fine if nt, he won't have strength to walk around. I guess the not adding weight is in the family. let him flex abeg. Happy new month.

Keep giving him what he likes but don't stop trying out new foods with him especially when you are eating.

You can equally sneak some of those foods e.g banana into his cereal in little quantities.(pls do this only when you are the one feeding him)

In addition, stop combining foods for now, one food at a time. If trying potato, let it be potato only not with egg or chicken. If giving egg, let it be only egg (fried or boiled) like you mentioned.

If his weight is becoming much of a bother, see a pead/nutritionist.

THANKS MA, I WILL TRY THAT. CONCERNING HIS WEIGHT , WE HAVE SEEN VIRTUALLY ALL PAEAD IN LAGOS OOOO. WAS TOLD BECAUSE HE IS SO ACTIVE. HE IS FINE. BUT I JUST WANT HIM TO ADD A LITTLE FLESH.

Happy new month mothers, my 11 month old baby has refused to take solid oooo, no matter how much I try, he will vomit it. I have tried so many foods, from Amala and ewedu, semo and ewedu, sweet potatoes and eggs, sweet potato and chicken, sweet potato and carrot puree, rice and banana puree, banana and avocado puree, beans and so many. The only one he agreed to take out of all of them is just the sweet potato and carrot puree.

And he take formula, pap and cereal. Please mothers, how do I get him to eat this food as he is not adding weight, though he is walking around now oooo but he seems very tiny. Any ideas

Try August secrets Nuttymeal and Mixagrain, dunno why babies love that stuff and I think it helps for weight gain. Also what particular swallow did you try, try the white smooth ones with ogbono if you haven't yet. Try more carbs, babies need it anyway, instead of giving carrot puree, blend the carrot in rice. Other foods my baby likes are

Gerber Youghurt Blend
Boiled Eggs
Beans (Really Soft)
Mashed Yam
Mixagrain
Rice
Meat.

Thanks mam, the swallow i introduced was amala and ewedu, and i tried semo too . i have introduced august secret mxagrain, he use to eat nutty meal before but it has finished. planning to get one today plus august secret veggie beans. but another thing im suspecting for the weight loss is because he has gathered so many teeth now .....he has 8 teeth already . i would try the Gerber yogurt blend.

pack the purees in a bowls/cups that are well sealed without leaking to prevent messing up your baby's bag.
you can also pack
Apple, mango, banana puree
rice, Irish potato, fried egg, boiled egg yolk etc.
