He currently does not have the power to correct our electoral system and reduce corruption because he is not the president.
He was not afraid of ordinary primaries. He just did not want to be caught up in the corrrupt primaries that would be determined by the spread of dollars.

The greatest error Nigeria made was to permit the APC take over power in 2015. Nigeria had the chance to get out of the quagmire in 2023, but INEC and the court did the unthinkable in a democratic setting by declaring Tinubu as the president despite the shenanigans surrounding his qualification and the questionable electoral process.
We have the chance now to do turn our country around, and insist on democracy thriving. Otherwise, I pity Nigeria and Nigerians.

In my humble opinion, Jonathan should not contest in the 2027 election. He should rather support a candidate that means well for Nigeria (of course, not Tinubu!!!).

This is not okay. "War without guns" does not mean chaos. It should only be about the people's votes done without illegal inducement.

If the election is free and fair, Tinubu would know his fate by 1pm on the election day, which is, that he would handover in May 2027.

Any Rivers State's person that votes or supports his/her oppressor or agents of their oppressor is FOOLISH.

This may explain the situation in our judiciary and their decisions when Wike's interest is in quesion. Imagine a secret question from Wike to our judges like, "the house you are living in did you build it with your money? Was it not built on public land by me? Can't I revoke your license to that land? After those questions, they have to go and deliver judgments.

Now the Federal High Court will quickly allow ADC to survive so that ADC and NDC will split votes for APC. Though I still believe that with free and fair election, Obi will still win.

I will not be surprised if the case against ADC leadership is dropped or the case dismissed. With that, viable opposition groups will split their votes just like 2023.

There are so many questions people involved will have to answer when we have a good government.

Note it today. If Obi and Kwankwaso leave APC to join another party, that party will SUDDENLY have a legal or internal problem (obviously generated from outside the party). If the party does not have a legal problem, then the Federal High Court judgment will leave ADC to contest, and give room for another opposition candidate. The end goal is either to ensure that the viable opposition contenders have multiple candidates to split votes like 2023 or ensure that Obi does not stand as the sole viable candidate against Tinubu.

The Nigerian Senate is rapidly becoming an association of ex governors. It's mostly made up of immediate past governors who have exhausted their constitutional limit of 8 years as governors. They then use stolen funds to catapult themselves to the Senate.

If Wike is not removed from the Body of Benchers, and disbarred for his atrocious and highly unethical activities, then the NBA has not started. What example is Wike showing to young lawyers?
Then, the lawyers that deliberately twist the law or make the law stand on its head by filing tbose illegal actions should also be subjected to disciplinary actions.
The judges that are not independent, but kowtow to the executive should also face disciplinary actions.
If the above are not initiated and followed through, then the NBA or the NJC has not started.

President Goodluck Jonathan, you have played your part. You remain the most democratic president of Nigeria in recent history. Do not listen to those who are wooing you to contest in the 2027 general election. I suspect that it is the evil APC that is working hard for you to contest so that the chances of ADC will be diluted. Do not fall for the bait. Nigerians are tired of the lies, dictatorial, monarchical, and undemocratic style of the APC, particularly under Tinubu. Nigerians are wiser, and cannot fall for their rice and intimidation politics.
So, our dear GEJ, do not fall for the APC trap. You are bigger and better than that.
Let Nigerians chose their leadership.

In my opinion, you are well positioned and oiled by your boss, Tinubu to destroy any opposition party starting with the PDP. But you cannot destroy the people of Nigeria who are willing to get out of the shackles your party and people - the APC, has used to lock them.

Is APC controlling 31 states or they successfully coerced governors to join them by denying them federal privileges? Are the coerced governors the same as the voters in their states?
Oh! APC is hoping that the coerced governors act as their puppets, and manipulate the 2027 voting results like that of Rivers in 2023!!

Our 10th National Assembly and their cohort, the president, seem to be working so hard to entrench immorality.

Anyway, it depends on the courts. Though I don't trust the current judges, they can interpret corrupt practice in the Act to include presentation of fake result. They can also refer to the constitution as supreme. But who am I to argue.

We won't be shocked to find out that in the evening of the day of the election while or after counting of the votes, so many states, including Lagos, Rivers, Kano, Kaduna. Abuja will not have network, so the "proviso" in the Act will be followed.
Just watch and see how network will fail suddenly on that day in 2027.

It is where she said "I have your mate at home" that interests you to create a negative narrative of her. As far as I am concerned, we need more of Senator Natasha in the National Assembly.

What makes you think he is powerful?
That he is able to recruit ministers that can cause problems in their states and force the governors to convert (unwillingly) to APC?
That he has (paid or sychophantic) people on various social media platforms that praise him to high heavens against the reality faced by the citizens?
That he is able to transform those who know so much about him to change their narratives of what they know about him and paint him as a saint?
That his government makes people lament for hunger, but he makes people feel that his government is the best?
That the National Assembly becomes anti-people but a ready tool for whatever he wants?

How can Tinubu justify the allegations that Wike is the political leader of Rivers State in spite of party affiliation? If we go by that narrative, then Wike should take a back seat and listen to Odili and Amaechi, who were governors before Wike.

As I'd always felt, Tinubu's failure to sack Wike, speaks volumes of who is orchestrating the chaos in the state, and who the eventual beneficiary is.

A lawyer that is promoting self-help, yet the NBA has not declared his action unethical.

Just asking, what was the yardstick for making Wike a member of the Body of Benchers, or put differently, why is he still a member of the Body of Benchers with all the things he says and does?

If a young lawyer says or does what Wike says and does will the NBA sanction the young lawyer? What moral standing does the Body of Benchers have to advise or caution young lawyers if Wike, a life member of the Body of Benchers does what he does without sanction?

He will break the gates of a stadium against the directive of the state and "nothing will happen"!!! What an abominable and audacious statement. Yet noting will happen!!! SMH
