Hopefully, the illicitly aquired properties and wealth of some of the current untouchables in government and their relatives (conduits) will be looked into when an incorruptible and courageous government takes over the government of the country. |
Beauty and brain to lead the NBA.......Not the ones that vie for the position because of, and sponsored by external politicians!!! |
Why rush to bury when the circumstances of her death could be by criminal act? Proper investigation and resolution of the cause is not personal. It is a state affair. It could be a lead to unraveling a criminal or the innocent. It could also serve as a watchdog for future actions of people. |
IT IS TIME for Mrs. B!!! NBA needs Mrs. B as its President. |
Beautiful, brilliant, steadfast and highly disciplined woman to lead the Nigerian Bar Association. The NBA missed good chances some years ago when they did not elect Funke Adekoya or Funke Dada as their President. This is another good chance for them to vote Badejo-Okusanya as their president. |
There are two shapes, circle and square. There are multiple shades of square but only one circle. In my opinion, the odd shape is the circle, as it stands out. |
Someone orchestrated the destruction of a structure from the inside, and was/is bent on ensuring that that structure is destroyed beyond repairs. He is the same one saying that if the structure does not stand it will not succeed!! The level of hypocrisy is beyond comprehension. |
I remember Sheriff, who went ahead of Wike to destroy the PDP from the inside, claiming to be its chairman. Well, if he think that there should be no liberation for the north, let northerners decide their fate. |
Who are the members of this "Foundation for Credible Elections and Good Governance Initiative"? What credibility do they have? Are we sure that they are not partisan? Are we sure that this setup is not an arrangement to deceive the masses? If Amuputan is credible, he should resign for his partisanship. So why praise him when he has not even performed creditably in the sample tests given to him? In 2023, we were promised an election that was going to be heaven on earth, but received hell in practice by INEC. |
Corruption has eaten deep into the fabrics of Nigeria that it is now the norm. That the searchlight is flashed on El Rufai, is a welcomed development, and he is entitled to defend the allegations against him. However, let me ask: Had El Rufai agreed to support Tinubu when Tinubu was wooing him, would El Rufai had been charged for corruption? If Yes, why are other well known corrupt politicians still in his cabinet (to the point that some of them are unapologetically controlling the political activities of their states of origin against the people's wishes, and some are awarding government contracts without following the procurement laws of the country) not being tried for corruption? So, is it not corruption not to judicially try corrupt officials in the current government? |
Do Kwarans have the brains to learn? Do they have the brains to realize that they played into the hands of their oppressors by working against Saraki? Have they got the brains to wake themselves up and be delivered from their oppressors? If they have, Tinubu and his cohorts should know that there is no 2nd term for him and the APC!!! They were shouting Otoge! Otoge! What is their state of mind today under the APC? Eriokanmi: |
Every well meaning Nigerian is willing to make Nigeria great again, but some of the politicians, particularly the ones in power are making it difficult for that to be achieved. It is not enough to say things by the books, you should be willing to practice what you preach for the good of the nation. You read the ideals of democracy for all to hear but deploy undemocratic tactics. |
Who do you think is putting spanner in the work so that the new minority leader will not continue in that office? If truly Chinda is stripped of the APC ticket in Rivers State following the court ruling, where will he go back to? Okay, now that you are awake, who is sponsoring Chinda? |
Committing criminal acts and rubbing it on our faces with impunity. Who/what will save Nigeria from the hands of criminals parading as leaders? Can we rely on the Nigerian courts of these days? Rivers people over to you. If you like continue to be slaves to Wike!!! You have the choice to get off the chains of slavery or remain slaves to Wike and his cohorts. |
Are they shaving someone's hair in the person's absence. Was Goodluck Jonathan at the venue? But wait! If President Goodluck Jonathan does not have a hand in this why has he been quiet after talking about consultation. Meanwhile, in my personal opinion, President Goodluck Jonathan should maintain his hard earned dignity. |
APC knows that valid votes will not get them anywhere, so, their rigging machine is properly oiled for 2027. So, with rigging, what concerns APC with the abducted children? |
Why do we, Nigerians, think that the National Assembly and the Executive snuck in ballot papers without stamp un the Electoral Act 2026? It is to rig and fill ballot boxes with fake ballot papers and give fake/inflated numbers like the APC primaries. |
10.99 million votes made from fraudulent countingll!! APC, Fraud!!! |
The same way Tinubu will use Sim Fubara and abandon him later. Fubara should learn from Ben Ayade, El Rufai, and Ambode experiences. Meanwhile, I don't understand why people/Nigerians will hail their oppressors when they are not caged. The story of Hitler and the chicken is apt. |
He currently does not have the power to correct our electoral system and reduce corruption because he is not the president. He was not afraid of ordinary primaries. He just did not want to be caught up in the corrrupt primaries that would be determined by the spread of dollars. DomPerignon: |
The greatest error Nigeria made was to permit the APC take over power in 2015. Nigeria had the chance to get out of the quagmire in 2023, but INEC and the court did the unthinkable in a democratic setting by declaring Tinubu as the president despite the shenanigans surrounding his qualification and the questionable electoral process. We have the chance now to do turn our country around, and insist on democracy thriving. Otherwise, I pity Nigeria and Nigerians. |
In my humble opinion, Jonathan should not contest in the 2027 election. He should rather support a candidate that means well for Nigeria (of course, not Tinubu!!!). |
This is not okay. "War without guns" does not mean chaos. It should only be about the people's votes done without illegal inducement. madridguy: |
If the election is free and fair, Tinubu would know his fate by 1pm on the election day, which is, that he would handover in May 2027. |
Any Rivers State's person that votes or supports his/her oppressor or agents of their oppressor is FOOLISH. |
This may explain the situation in our judiciary and their decisions when Wike's interest is in quesion. Imagine a secret question from Wike to our judges like, "the house you are living in did you build it with your money? Was it not built on public land by me? Can't I revoke your license to that land? After those questions, they have to go and deliver judgments. |
Now the Federal High Court will quickly allow ADC to survive so that ADC and NDC will split votes for APC. Though I still believe that with free and fair election, Obi will still win. |
I will not be surprised if the case against ADC leadership is dropped or the case dismissed. With that, viable opposition groups will split their votes just like 2023. |
There are so many questions people involved will have to answer when we have a good government. |
Note it today. If Obi and Kwankwaso leave APC to join another party, that party will SUDDENLY have a legal or internal problem (obviously generated from outside the party). If the party does not have a legal problem, then the Federal High Court judgment will leave ADC to contest, and give room for another opposition candidate. The end goal is either to ensure that the viable opposition contenders have multiple candidates to split votes like 2023 or ensure that Obi does not stand as the sole viable candidate against Tinubu. |
The Nigerian Senate is rapidly becoming an association of ex governors. It's mostly made up of immediate past governors who have exhausted their constitutional limit of 8 years as governors. They then use stolen funds to catapult themselves to the Senate. What a country?!?!?! |
