Fraud! Fraud!! Fraud!!! What a political party!!! |
AnambraPrince:So you agree that the ones you can trust are (open) thieves, though you are not sure if Obi is a thief, you think his is secret? Shame that we can place our trust on people we know are not trustworthy. Nigeria is seriously nose-diving. |
Evil! Evil!! Pure Evil!!! What APC has been doing (that is manipulating results), they have brought it outside and playing it like a masquerade. Is Ahmed Lawan more human than Machina? |
Yobe - Sen. Ahmed Lawan, wow!!! This is day time robbery. APC is indeed an evil party. How can someone contest and win, and victory will be given to another person? Well, we will wait for INEC, the voters and the court. |
APC has not confidence in whatever they do. To do presidential primaries they had to wait for PDP first. Now to nominate VP they are putting out a name and saying that is a stop-gap nomination. Now PDP has put out its own VP. This is the time APC will come up with another name. Anyway, PETER OBI is coming. |
The Third Force is made up of the good people of Nigeria. The other tested and failed parties have shown to be interested in a few rich Nigerians, and not the majority of Nigerians. |
If the story and the reference to the Chairman is correct, I think he should honourably resign and work assiduously with the party to succeed. |
Having a National Assembly of politicians instead of real lawmakers that are loyal to the country, is a problem to this country. Politicians will continue to cover their deplorable and corrupt paths and pasts with laws they will pass. I pity Nigeria!!!! |
Barbarism, is what I would call the killing of innocent people by the so-called unknown gunmen, Boko Haram, or bandits. If the government does not wake up to its responsibility of securing lives and property, this country may become a lawless state, and tyranny and survivor of the fittest may be the order of the day. God forbid. |
Jostoman:With the way APC is dribbling Nigerians on their primaries, I suspect they will do consensus. So, they will delay till PDP comes up with their candidate, and one APC candidate may just emerge thereafter without the need for delegates. |
Senseless people destroying their future and spilling blood for politicians that may not care about them after "winning" elections. A functional police should be able to figure out the perpetrators and ensure that they are prosecuted properly. Also, a serious court should be able to give them the sentence they deserve. Meanwhile, Nigerians should wake up from their slumber and vote wisely. Don't vote because of N5,000 or bag of branded rice or beans, or anything at all. For the delegates (of all parties), if you give us rubbish candidates, shame on you. |
Felimax:I don't think your statement is necessary. There are several situations that the police randomly pick people on the streets and tag them suspects or criminals to score cheap points or make revenue for themselves in the name of bail. It does not seem like you know the person that has been arrested, personally, but you have concluded that he is guilty as paraded. Please let us be circumspect with our comments. We know the nation is bleeding, but we should not poke a knife into the nation's wound, by making unguarded and inflammatory comments about someone that is innocent unless declared guilty by court. |
What has the detention of Nnamdi Kanu got to do with the lives of innocent citizens in Anambra or any part of the South East? The attacks on facilities and humans are barbaric and senseless. People are now displaying criminality in the open in the guise of agitation for the release of Nnamdi Kanu. Well, maybe the Federal Government should look for a political solution to this problem, and let us hope that the so-called unknown gun men will not look for another reason to perpetrate their evil acts. |
Bobloco:I think if it comes to Tinubu and any other person in PDP, Tinubu may win Lagos and Osun with landslide. But the other states in the South-West, will not be easy for him. I still think Osinbajo stands a better to win the South-West, and other regions, particularly if the PDP candidate is not Peter Obi. |
israelmao:I agree with you. It is now in the hands of the delegates to give us either a credible candidate or a desperate candidate. |
If we don't vote rightly, the kind of disgrace our future president will give us eh, we will deny being Nigerians. APC delegates have to vote with the country at heart. Other parties should also vote rightly at their primaries. We have sane aspirants like Osinbajo and Peter Obi. Parties should give us good options. Parties should not give us desperate and questionable aspirants as candidates. |
APC should decide between electing a desperate and highly questionable person capable of becoming an emperor if elected, and a civil democrat, who has the nation at heart, as the flag bearer. The power lies with the delegates. Vote properly at your primary, and avoid had I known later. |
How can a person with no constitutional relevance invite the Vice President, and direct that he should not go in with his phone? |
If not Osinbajo, APC should forget it. Nigeria cannot afford to have persons with personal ambition without the generality of the people at heart, as its president. Our next president, should be either Yemi Osinbajo or Peter Obi. |
After a psychiatric evaluation, the man needs to face criminal trial, possibly convicted, and sent to jail for the rest of his life. No parole. |
Brexxit:Political calculation of course. Let him tell us who will be PDP's candidate. I also note that caveat he added for people to "pray" if they don't want Amaechi. |
We do not need agberos to assume a national status, and become the new Fulani herdsmen. |
INEC should clarify. |
So many thieves in authority in Nigeria. I do not subscribe to just 6 year jail term, and a refund of a sum less than the amount stolen. This man, and some in government (to be revealed soon, hopefully), should suffer the full consequence of their actions - depriving the majority of their welfare. |
Is Osinbajo, Tinubu's son? Last I checked, he is not. Assuming he is, why will a father train a son to be less than him? My father trained me to be better than him, and today he is proud of me. |
Xscape1993:Don't concern yourself with any party symbol, accept Yemi Osinbajo as the symbol himself. |
yanabasee:The powers of the Vice President under the Nigerian Constitution is almost absent, except the President assigns roles to him. Now, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo aspires to be our President. Remember that he is a professor, so has reached the highest educational height. I am so sure that as a president, Osinbajo will not neglect education. |
Xscape1993:If I were you, I would not look at any party symbol. I will rather look at the person as the symbol. Prof. Osinbajo is a good product, even in your reckoning. So, look beyond any party symbol, and go for Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as the symbol of hope and resuscitation. |
DontBullshitMe:You say Prof. Osinbajo should retire and expose the rot? What stops him from being the president and correcting the rot, thereby giving us good governance and resuscitating the economy? If APC means well for Nigerians, they should not compromise, but make sure that a good candidate emerges from that party, being Prof. Osinbajo. Otherwise, APC should just forget about federal leadership come 2023. |
Continue running until you get to Rivers State, and receive EFCC'S invitation. |
The fear of EFCC after the questionable tenure, is a propelling factor to seek elective position, so as to get immunity from prosecution. In this government, I see only a few that can leave office and live without the fear of EFCC. Some are Fashola and Osinbajo. Some others like Malami, Ngige, Lai, Amaechi, and Emefiele will have to seek elective positions to avoid EFCC's invitations, detention and prosecution. |
SarkinYarki:We are waiting whether the section of the Electoral Act, 2022 that he is fighting tooth and nail to repeal, using the never-seen-before judicial strategy will allow him to contest without resigning within time from the federal cabinet. A man that rubbishes the rule of law in Nigeria, is seeking to be a democratically elected governor of a state in Nigeria. |
