Heroic welcome for a confirmed, convicted and sentenced kidnap kingpin!! Nigeria is in mess, walahi!!! |
Sim Fubara is acting weak. Wike, as a governor will not take what Wike is giving to Fubara today. If Fubara continues to exhibit weakness, he will lose the confidence of Rivers people. |
Sim Fubara should carry his cross. We talked and talked for him to be the governor he is supposed to be, but he still fell for the Abuja plotters of his fall - Wike and Tinubu. Fubara showed weakness. So, if he is impeached, Rivers people will not pity him anymore. Rivers' people tried to make him strong, but he showed himself as a weak man. |
Are these a new set of students? I thought there was a similar piece of news over ten years ago? The question is, where are the students that invented the urine-powered generator over ten years ago, and what has happened to their invention? |
The level of corruption under this administration is unprecedented and blatant. From prayers sent to inboxes, to budget padding, to N160m for cars, to N500m, as well as the yet-to-be-revealed ones. |
Tinubu's presidency is sentiment gone wrong for a greater majority of Nigerians and investors. He will use the same sentiment to get a second term in 2027. Tinubu had no plans for the country. He just wanted to be a president by every means conceivable. He is the president by the means we know, but he is blank. He is doing and undoing things without proper analysis. Just bragado! |
Mr. Ibu, a man who played his role so well as a comedian. We will surely miss him. We were hoping that he would return to the screen and make us laugh even as an amputee actor. May his soul rest in peace. |
Empty bragado is not good o! |
Is Sim Fubara not too weak for the position he occupies - Governor of Rivers State? |
Pride goes before a fall. People that worked for Wike to be in the limelight (local government chairman, minister, and governor) did not manipulate him. Why is he acting like a god? |
Sim Fubara may be the only feeble minded governor Rivers State has got. He may even be the most feeble minded governor at the moment. |
May we know the laid down procedure for seeking redress in a situation like this. It may be useful for others. Remember that the female officer ("victim") said she's done what was required of her, but no redress. |
Let this officer's complaint be independently and thoroughly investigated without bias. And if any officer or person is culpable, he/she/they should be adequately punished. |
dre11:Is Rotimi Amaechi a current senator? I'm seeing or reading it for the first time (if correct). |
I like monitoring the sky, but I didn't see this. Can anyone with the video upload it? Let's view the movement. Thank you for sharing. |
Good move. |
Finally, Nigeria all the way. |
When someone that is empowered to do something legally has a skeleton in his cupboard, those that have the keys to his cupboard can make him do anything to look legal, otherwise, they will open the cupboard. If he is afraid of his cupboard being opened because of the skeleton, he will do the bidding of those with the keys to the cupboard irrespective of what others think. |
APC has failed Nigeria. In fact, APC is strengthening corruption in Nigeria. Corrupt leaders at the helm of affairs. |
It's important for road users to obey traffic rules, but Nigeria is a different place when it comes to obedience of laws, traffic laws inclusive, and LASTMA of Lagos are well-known for overlooking traffic offenders, particularly commercial bus drivers. Rather, LASTMA officials lay claims against innocent private vehicle drivers, and term the offence, miscellaneous, just to extort the driver without issuing government receipt. Simply, the rule of law should take preeminence, and a better society will surface. But for now, corruption takes preeminence in Nigeria. The crime should be investigated and culprits punished. |
The perpetrators MUST be penalized. |
AT THE KOGI STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL PDP Counsel: My lord the result sheet was filled before the election started. APC Counsel: My lord, as the result was filled before the election started, this court has no jurisdiction to entertain pre-election matters. Tribunal: As it is undisputed that the Ogoi/Mangogo result sheet (Form EC 8A) was filled before the election started, we agree with the APC that the issue is a pre-election issue, and PDP slept on its right for not instituting the action as a pre-election matter. The result is therefore valid. PDP Counsel (addressing the press after the judgment): We will not take it. We are going on appeal. AT THE APPEAL COURT: Court: We agree that the result was made before the election started. So, the issue is a pre-election matter, and this court has no jurisdiction. Tribunal is right in its judgment. Me: This is the level we have reached in this country. Courtesy of the recent decisions in Obi/Atiku v. Tinubu. |
Politicians are taking Nigeria to the gutters, and sycophants are applauding. Politicians do as if there is no document guiding them. The constitution is now rubbished by those who swore to abide by it. |
If not for the existence of regular sham elections, Nigeria at the moment could be said to be under dictatorial rule, where the rule of law is useless. |
The Nigerian Constitution and the opinion of sane people don't matter any more in Nigeria. Independent National Electoral Commission is further going to lose its independence. We know that it secretly lost it at the 2023 presidential election. But now, the loss of independence is going to be stamped, no thanks to the federal executive and its rubber stamp Senate. Unfortunately, in the next four years these people will come to us and give us N5000, 5kg of rice and a tin of vegetable oil to vote for them, and we will scramble to place our fingers on their party symbols on the ballot papers. We are not ready to salvage Nigeria, as we applaud known criminals as our leaders. |
Shameful actions of shameless individuals working against the people they call "well-meaning." I expect a probe of this Lamidi-Apapa and his cohorts in future. One day, his sponsors will leave office, and leave him defenseless against a thorough independent probe. |
One day please! Just one day. Every guy should have at least five boxers. Wash the first and second before the sixth and seventh days. Colours of your boxers do not hide the dirt of the boxers. |
When he registered, did he disclose that he was 16 years? If he did and the system (if that is how it works) accepted him, then the company has a question to answer. But if he did not disclose that he was underage or lied about his age, can he blame the company? Is he truly 16 years? Is he just realising his age after losing his money to a voluntary act? |
I struggled to get my PVC as INEC promised free, fair and credible election. But INEC failed woefully in my opinion. INEC promised and deliberately failed to keep to its promise. Then tribunal put the icing on the cake by making INEC look infallible in the face of obvious fallibility and deliberate distortion. Why will people still rush to get their PVCs when INEC is still constituted the same as February and March 2023? |
As far as I am concerned, the tribunal endorsed criminality. It failed to reprimand negative behaviour, but verbally reprimanded those who attempted to make Nigeria work again. It made INEC's despicable performance appear infallible. The tribunal made the youths, first time voters, and those who had lost hope in voting, seem stupid for believing in INEC this time. Unfortunately, if the Supreme Court does not change the narrative, Nigeria may not witness any free, fair and credible election going forward, of course not in 2027. After 2027, stooges will take over in the subsequent elections. |
The goal maestro, Rashidi YeKing. |
