Cannonleo: You are aware that Nigeria's army once had the ability to go and fight in other countries, or maybe you are not, like most Nigerians you have no idea of what is actually going on. When that madman Abacha was in power for instance, our army then had the ability to go and fight in Sierra Leone and do wonders. Fast forward to Johnathan's time, he destabilised the army and make the country appear as a laughing stock that even Uganda's president made fun of us at GEJs inability to protect the nation. |

So much people-worshipping bullsh1t on this page. Are white people Gods? no! They have several problems as a "group of people" as does every group worldwide. Black people have the problem of being passive cucks worldwide that are more than happy to be enslaved by everyone else except themselves Look at India, Libya, United States, Euro countries, etc. But when it comes to ourselves, we are more than happy to hurt one another based on different ethnic groups and religions. If many of you were actually educated about past and present then you would know that you are f00ls for thinking that white people are superior to you. They simply are not. Anyone that believes they are is a f00l beyond fools. Just do research and educate yourselves. Stop acting like a bunch of slaves. 1 Like |

biacan: This is what happens when people don't go to school and have no idea what is going on. The reason this country is in disarray is primarily due to Goodluck Johnathan who did ABSOLUTELY nothing whilst he was in power except weaken the army and embezzle funds. But since you are a bigot you can't see past that. 1 Like |
Religion / Re: RCCG Offers To Help Nigerians In Libya by Fulaman198(m): 2:32am On Dec 01, 2017 |
What Nigerians need to do is become militarily strong once again! Since the fall of Ghaddafi, Libya has become an unstable region and a place not good for "Non-Arab Libyans" meaning that whether you are black from Libya or a black from another country not far from Libya (Niger or Nigeria) they will be hostile towards you. The problem with Africans is the constant passive nature. That is why we are not respected anywhere around the world and treated like a bunch of cucks. A lot of us behave like Spineless cowards. In North America (USA and Canada) poor treatment for blacks, in India - Poor treatment for blacks, in Europe - Poor treatment for blacks and of course in the Middle East- Poor treatment for blacks. We are quick to hurt one another due to either having a different religion, ethnicity, or culture, but when it comes to others we bow down like a bunch of f00ls. You have some people worshiping whites on here and i could never understand that especially since the majority of them DO NOT like us. You have some of us even thinking Arabs are our buddies when A LOT of them do not like anyone who is not Arab. Enough with the passive nonsense. RCCG ain't doing s**t. 3 Likes |

JikanBaura: I am not speaking about other ethnic groups. I am talking about/referring to the Fulani living in Taraba. They DO speak Fulfulde. One of the members on Nairaland here, another Fulani guy, Bororojo was from Taraba, and he spoke perfect Fulfulde. He was the one who even informed me that in Taraba state, that the Fulbe there also speak Fulfulde as their main tongue not Hausa. The other groups you listed, the non-Fulbe (non-Fulani) DO however, speak Hausa as their main tongue. |
Culture / Re: Coronation Ceremony Of Sarkin Fulani Of Oke Ogun by Fulaman198(m): 9:58pm On Nov 09, 2017 |
JikanBaura: Your assessment isn't exactly correct. The Fulani in Nigeria are from all different parts of Fulani lands. There are about 20 - 25 different clans in Nigeria and about 3 or 4 major Fulfulde dialects. Some Fulani currently living in Nigeria came from what is today Mali. The Fulani in the Northwestern Part of Nigeria speak a dialect similar to Fulfulde spoken in Mali, Western Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, etc. It is often referred to as Maasinakoore or Central Fulfulde. The Fulfulde spoken amongst the Fulani in Eastern Niger Republic, NE Nigeria, Chad, Central African Republic and Sudan is 25% different from Central Fulfulde. It is often referred to as Eastern Fulfulde or Adamawaare. NOTE: Fulani are not monolithic and did not all come from the same area. There are Fulani in Nigeria that have dialects similar to those living in Senegal, there are Fulani in Nigeria that have dialects similar to those living in Guinea and there are Fulani in Nigeria that have dialects similar to those living in Mali. 2 Likes 1 Share |

scholes0: Whilst your assessment is correct, we are speaking in regards here to the Fulani population in Taraba, Adamawa and Gombe. There are other ethnic groups in these states as well (e.g. Jukun, Tiv, Bute/Vute, etc etc.) that speak both Hausa and their respective language although the Munshi (Tiv) are a bit more stubborn. But amongst the Fulani population, we the Fulani of Adamawa are no different from the Fulani in Cameroon as we both speak Fulfulde. Other ethnic groups that have fled Nigeria may not understand Fulfulde due to the fact (like you said) that Hausa is the lingua Franca of most of N.Nigeria whereas in N.Cameroon, Fulfulde is the lingua Franca. 1 Like 1 Share |

JikanBaura: If your question pertains to Fulani only in Taraba state, then Fulfulde is the more dominant language over Hausa. You guys may not like what I'm saying, but that's the truth. The Northeast has far more Fulfulde speakers than the Northwest. 1 Like 1 Share |

Baaballiyo: You are taking what I say completely out of context. What I mean is that they don't speak Hausa. They may know words like "Sannu" or "Barka dai" words that every Nigerian knows, but they can't speak Hausa. 2 Likes |

treasuredude007: That depends on where you go and whom you are speaking to. There are Fulani in Nigeria that do not speak 1 word of Hausa..You can find many in Jalingo, Yola, etc. etc. The Mbororo'en speak pure unadulterated Fulfulde with hardly any Hausa in it. So whilst what you may say is true for the most part regarding a lot of Urbanised Fulani, it does not hold true for all Fulani in both Niger Republic and Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

umarwy: You are incorrect, sorry to say. A VLAN is it's own broadcasting domain. You can actually take a cluster of IP addresses and subnet them into separate VLANs. You understand the gists of a VLAN in that it creates a logical and physical division of a network on a switch. What do you think Subnets do? Subnets are their own IP address space. This means that for one to successfully route to them, you would need a layer 3 type of device. VLANs as aforementioned are their own broadcasting domain meaning that without something like Router on a stick (Inter VLAN routing) you can not access them. In simple terms, a vlan = a subnet = a broadcast domain I hope this helps. 1 Like |

As aforementioned, Hausa and Arabic Are both Afro-Asiatic languages. Other languages in this family include Somali, Amharic, Tigriniya, Ngas, Tamashaq and other languages spoken in the Sahel region of Africa. Hebrew is also a part of this family. Afro-Asiatic languages all have their respective roots in East Africa, and originated from there. 1 Like 1 Share |

lemmyt: Effectively what a VLAN is, is its own broadcasting domain that allows you to protect traffic. Meaning that if I wanted to keep data within a particular IP address space, the VLAN effectively does that. To route out data from a VLAN to another broadcasting domain would require a router on a stick topology or something of that nature. |

chinedubrazil: I'm not trying to say that my friend, what I mean is that often sometimes these guys start ideas with people with the technical background. So for instance, when I schooled in America, I had friends who wanted to start a business with me (I politely refused). They did not have a technical background, so they wanted me to do all the technical work (programming for both backend and frontend) which is a TON of work. That is why I refused. Often people without the technical background don't realise how difficult/time-consuming it can be for one person to do everything. |

chinedubrazil: One of the people, he co-founded Snapchat with did do Computer Science in one of the top universities in the world (Bobby Murphy). So that is not necessarily true my friend. To create something that has as much abstraction as Snapchat, you would need to understand how back-end and front-end technologies work. |

datoms: Correct it is always a good starting point to teach yourself, but to become an expert, you do need to go to school for it. Run-time complexity is relatively important (despite the fact that we have extremely powerful computers today). But stuff like Machine learning, parallel processing, etc. School definitely helps there. |

You can be a good programmer, but I'm not sure about an excellent one w/o significant study in the realm of Computer Science. To be an excellent programmer, I believe that studying Data Structures & Algorithms is necessary. 1 Like |

abdelrahman: Touaregs are Berbers, they are a sub-group of the much larger Berber speaking group of peoples. Fulani(Fulbe) are more closely related to Wolof and Serer people of Senegambia linguistically. With that said, There are very dark Touareg people (Like Koudede for instance) and there are Touaregs of lighter complexion. Same goes with Berbers in general, although the "Berbers" living on the Mediterranean coast that are white are heavily mixed with Greek and Roman DNA. Same goes with the Fulbe, I would say that about 65% of Fulani are brown to dark brown (From Senegal all the way to Central African republic) and 35% can be of lighter complexion. |
