You are wasting time, there are loads of Job to do i n the UK especially Unskilled jobs so you can meet up with your school fees.If you can drive there are JOBS. If you can use your muscle and strength, there are jobs, U can work in Amazon, even do security at Night. Like I told someone, IF YOU ARE SLOW THE WEST IS NOT FOR YOU AS NOTHING COMES TO YOU UNLESS YOU SEEK AND GET THEM YOURSELF.

All those things you mentioned are honestly true but they all need certification first and also experience... Having work in similar places. For amazon I have applied.
Even to work as a security you have to get certain certification and training that will cost you almost 1 million naira.. Google sia training and learn about more

Now am on two training to get certifications from the but this certifications is cost money.

When you look in the mirror, who do you see looking back at you? No matter how you try to spin it, it all leads back to you and your dishonesty when applying for the visa. At least admit this part. You made a mistake by lying on your application and not planning properly. You didn't kill someone. Don't be afraid to own up to your mistake.

Answer the following:

- Who submitted proof of finance along with your application when applying for the visa?

- Why didn't you put the true amount you had available for your survival on the form?

- Why did you decide to lie on your application knowing firsthand you did not have enough?

More observations:

terrible story. I just plan on returning back to start my data analysis course, doing R and completing other courses that gives me joy than the pain and anguished.

I thought you claim you're a coder (uff! so 90's) and a data analyst. Why are you still going back for a course in a profession you already know?

]But you made all the monies you're currently dashing UK govt in Nigeria?

You said you have multiple properties still in Nigeria, how did you get all these if Nigeria was actually bad for you?

Anyone who can boast of at least ₦15m in cash and assets in Nigeria shouldn't complain about Nigeria being bad to him or her.

i work mostly online with foreign firm

Now you work online for a foreign firm?

Again, maybe I need glasses. One thing is certain. You're not a straight forward honest person else the title of your post should be "My UK Japa. Never lie on your application and do proper research before travelling"

So, here are my final thoughts on the matter:

- You are not who you say you are in Nigeria
- You're not serious minded hence the mental laziness to do proper research to even survive in the UK
- You're definitely not a Dev. or coder (Oh dear lord) as you mention it
- You're an attention seeker
- And lastly, definitely not honest or trustworthy

Best of luck!

You have a problem.
I bet you have never seen 1 million naira before. I said I started the process with 15 million when naira was 560 to pounds on cbn rate (26,000 pounds) but ur leaders who knows next to nothing brought policies that took naira over to a 1000. I had already started then I had to sourced 15 million naira to cover up.

Are you pained that I said I have a business still functioning in Nigeria?
Well I left Nigeria for one reason, and insecurity, failed government policies, lies from government, tribalism and insult from persons like you who see their self as always right.

I could afford to leave UK now and try elsewhere... That's my choice and my writeup are my personal opinion as I am entitled to freedom of speech.

When someone calls you out for your own mistakes, you somehow shift goal posts and find a way to justify yourself. Let's see below:

- On page 3 you mentioned: " i have job that pay me 800 pounds.. from Nigeria. i have my dependant.
my thoughts was that i can pay my fees from that and use my 20 hours pay rent then anything my dependant bring will be surplus"

- On page 1 : in fact i have spent 500k trying to get a certification that i am not sure will yield result.

- On page: 4 - i am a data analyst, a coder, and well known writer here on nairaland with my other username

Although your post is indeed helpful to others out there in terms of experience, it still doesn't change the fact that you indeed misled the Embassy on your statement of account. Little did you know that the aim for the UK issuing out visas now to Nigerians is because they are experiencing economic problems and need the Nigerian to help boost their economy. Think about it. Why, in some specific year or years do they issues visas and in some, suddenly increase rate of denials?

If you have a business / job bringing in 800 Pounds, and you've spent 500K, naira I assume to get certification, have other properties etc back home and suddenly you're now a coder and data analyst. Surely, you should've been employed by now or at least not have or stress about finances. Or maybe I understand things differently. Try to get your story straight at least

Can you bring out 45 million naira as at today? Don't be offended
How many Nigerians can boast of such money?

About 1000,000 Nigerians traveled from January to early September how many of them can bring out that money?

Away from that... I never said I was stranded. Did I? I simply said in expectations of job I saw nothing and I can't convert naira to pounds.. Naira is dead now 1500 to pounds.

Am just a young boy... Who raised that money legally without putting hands in crime despite hash condition of Nigerian economy... I no try?

Finally I gave a review of the economy and system and am telling those who will sell their only home in expectations and f job immediately to be careful and waigh options

My brother, please stop misleading people. The fact that you are not doing due diligence and too lazy to physically go out and look for what to do does not mean that you would come here and give incomplete information. Dont worry, continue staying on your laptop and be sending CV. You are those kind of peeps that want to make it almost immediately.Apparently, this japa is not meant for you. So come back and stop misleading people.of course it's not easy in UK, but it does not mean that you cant survive.

U think its Nigeria where u walk around places uninvited. Well I have done that and also calls numerous people they refer to their site to follow the processes. So calm down and am networking with a lot of people here to see how to resolve current issue but what am saying is that even works that involve washing of plates, washing toilet do requires certification, training and experience.

It's not Nigeria

This is a response to fullclub.

First of all, I am not a fan of UK or any other European or American Hustle. I am here to hustle and make money.

The op said there is no job which is a big lie. I think he is being sponsored and there is no way he spent 35m on this trip and will still be owing 9000 pounds.

All the new comers I know that moved in recently are all working be it student or dependant. Most are studying masters and no one spent up to that amount. All used indeed for job search and they are employed.

Some are doing two jobs sef.

To the house issue, all are also in their own rented apartments except couples who find it hard to get apartment but best thing is to look for others and team up to rent full apartment which is even cheaper.

Everything the OP said is 100% false. I even know of companies that don't require your application. Just put a call through and they start disturbing you for immediate start.

Lastly, about the tax system in the UK, most Nigerians are using it as a cover up. After tax, there's still a lot to cover your feeding, accommodation, transport with a lot of change even upto 1k to 2k pounds depending on your pay. I am talking about factory workers who are the least earners in the UK.

The only thing I will advice, if you are coming here to hustle, invest your money home as this country is not for long term stay to me. Forget what you hear on social media, there is enough Jobs here but don't come here if you are earning about 500k after expenses in Nigeria because it will be like downgrade to you.

Share the numbers make I call or list agencies for me abeg

Nigerians and UK. When will you learn?. The only reason you run there is because you can't be bothered to learn a new language.

There are far better opportunities all over Europe, but you want to keep feeding your colonial enslavers in a modern age.

Go on, or grow some senses and ask what's going on in beautiful Scandinavia, robust Germany, disciplined Switzerland, etc.

And, there are no tuition to bother with in most of these places. Jobs, I can get you one here in a heartbeat. But I will not tell you where I am cheesy

Keep feeding the cunning, corky British system.

Dem go use una clean their old and infirmed people yansh tire, and for peanut wages which you'd still end up spending in their economy.

Barely enought to survive and continue your servitude of yansh washing and diapers disposal.

It takes a year to get ab appointment with Germany and the chances is soo slim.
Canada.. A friend even paid his fees and was denied visa and getting the fees back is a problem. That was my prefered choice but I can't risk it then.

USA? That's another story.

UK? 98% success rate..

Getting out of Nigeria to any good country is not easy now as our passport are weak.
But through here I can access those country with ease.

I know of someone who came here spent money and left his school to Canada for studies. He used here as route. What he couldn't get in Nigeria

Your issues are one of the common challenges in making it as a new migrant, not even in the UK alone. Once you or your dependant secures a job, the issues will be almost over. The job will eventually come, so don't give up the struggle. That you could even help a fellow with £10 despite your plight shows there are others whose conditions are worse than yours.

I pray the job comes before the condition becomes unmanageable. Nigerians are generally known to be dogged in hustling. The leaders of our dear nation have successively failed to build a good nation for patriotic hustlers. But, pitifully, I won't condemn them for one thing: they have achieved making our skin tough for and adaptive to unpleasant circumstances. So, please use this Nigerian factor to manage the situation over there rather than quitting. Once again, I pray the job comes your way soon.

Finally, you presented a picture of the working system of government in the UK, and that moved me to tears.
Nigeria is more naturally endowed with resources than the said UK but still finds herself in a vicious circus of underdevelopment. Nations are built by leaders with the capacity to deliver and whose commitment to national development is devoid of corruption and religious or tribal sentiment. But choosing our leaders here is almost on the basis of religious and tribal affiliations.

I pray God deliver our dear nation from these ethno-religiously induced political misadventures that have held her down of development.

Thanks sir I appreciate. I will have been encourage by many people here just like you and I will remain to dig it out. Hopefully I will share a positive side again

Did you pay through form A or through row dollars? Ihs and visa fee for one person is 1460 convert with your calculator. Multiply by two.
The add up with your school fees innitia payment of maybe 5600 pounds. Then add interest on POF, only plane ticket was almost 1.9 for both of us.

How much was ur flight ticket as a family of 4?

Lolzzzzzzz.
Ask questions, network and don’t be a loner.
Let me address some issues you raised here:

JOB
Once you arrive UK, you need to adjust your CV to fit standards, no carry naija cv format say you wan apply for work for UK, you’ll be bounced. Adjust your CV to fit the role you are applying for, have a separate cv for care, have one for warehouse, have one for cleaner etc. There are jobs in the UK but what matters is your location and how you are able to search, there are lots of sites beyond indeed, contact agencies and if possible visit those agencies that you can, not all those as most require appointments, ask fellow students and be ready to feel uncomfortable at first. It also important you try jobs within your location, no go apply for job wey require private transport when you no get car. Get your NI and where applicable DBS also.

RENT
This depends on the city you live and as someone that’s relocating I believe this should be one of the major factors to be considered by you. There are cities you can get accommodation below 450 and it depends on your taste as well.

UK no be country wey you go plan to do big man, E go weigh you.

Las Las, you go Dey all right.
Thanks bro.

@OP Where in the UK are you based? Some locations can be a bit difficult but if you're around the London area, there's usually lots of jobs. My advise - you and especially your spouse (I assume she is the dependent) need to physically go to job agencies, shops in the Town Centre, restaurants etc. with your CV and tell them you're seeking a job. That's usually quicker than applying online. Try that and don't give up. You'll get one soon. Your spouse needs to do that on a daily basis

Yeah been doing that 98% will ask you they only recruit via their websites.
I believe with time thinga will balance.

We don talk talk talk, still they won't here. Japa requires strategic planning. I can't even understand how someone with access to N30m is thinking of leaving the country. To do what really?

If am skill less, how do I make over asset and cash of over 70m... Within 10 years after graduation .
How was I able to partner with different multinational and develop a business model that still earn me 1m at home here, own several delivery businesses in Nigeria?

Stop wasting your time here defending the indefensible. Get offline and start applying for jobs with your time.

Amazon are recruiting massively now and they have a lot of sites in Manchester. No experience needed and their shifts are guaranteed.

Again stop wasting your time here and go fight for survival.

i have been up since 1am applying and day breaks 10am i am off to stroll offices asking them if they get jobs, although most refer me back to their sites.

Please in those your UK thread.. put it bold and tell them to pay their fees 100 or 90% first or this money should be available when they get there.
