Reading through some of your comments, I am feeling a mixture of laughter and pity. South africa is a NO NO NO for Nigerians. stop allowing this prince guy deceive you all. they hate nigerians with passion. South africans, weather black, colored or white, hate nigerians. This is a fact. with your qualification, none will give you a job, (except some peepee job) forget it. Everywhere you go, the moment they identify you are as a nigerian, they will change their parade for you..lol. This is the reason why most nigerians over here mix only with fellow nigerians. Dont move to south africa . To even rent accomodation is a big wahala. Nigerians have so much dent the image of our country that there is nothing you will tell them to wipeout that stigma.

Most nigerians in cape town, jburg, pretoria, are either into Internet fraud, drugs, owners of shops(small businesses) or students. They can be a little bit nicer to students. Nigerians, please do not go to south africa oh. The country is beautiful with nice infrastructure, but opposite is the mind of the people. My first impression of cape town was, a developed city with under-developed occupants. The people are broken, bitter, poor and divided. The whites are richer and more exposed but also will never deal with a nigerian.

We seriously need to re-brand our image as a people. They love Ghanaians and perceive ghana to be rich. This is because they hardly see Ghanaians around. Out of all the many african migrants in the country, the most hated are Nigerians.

Girls will always love d**k and cash, that doesn't mean they love you. Most Nigerians over here are married to to their women, so is hard for them to leave. How can you be happy and fulfilled in a country where you know you are immensely hated.

The country is far more beautiful than it occupants. Develop city with underdevelop occupants. Is like carrying everyone in ajegunle to lekki without brushing them up..lol

The south African blacks need recolonization, including their illiterate president. Dont you see how the government officials play around the xenophobic attacks? The country is where it is today because of the white race, not those local blacks.

And the Nigerians here, are just like them. Another breed of nigerians I have never seen. All they care about is money. I wonder if some of them sometimes realize this is not their country.

Please if you must move abroad, go to a well developed country (I mean a country with people of well schooled mindset). One major thing I noticed, majority of south africans are poor and uneducated. They have better opportunities, but they dont know how to use it. The black government are also myopic minded and lame.

Millions of black south africans still lives in slums. I visited one of their township, and honestly i ve never seen a place like that in Nigeria. There is heavy poverty and unemployment in the country. The people should rather direct their anger towards their retarded government, than towards other black migrant.

Once a slave, will always be a slave. Even if u break the physical chain, what about the bondage of the mind. The white still Rules.

Some of you wont listen. Go, if you embrace it, then you are one of those few Nigerians without a serious vision for their lives.

And you that want to go their with a tourist visa and stay, I pity you.

Like I said in my previous post I am not sure if CBN has changed their mind. It was an information passed to MMU prospective students to take advantage of Form A as early as possible. I believe the post by MMU was not to mislead because they even did tutorial of how to generate invoice on their end for Form A . All they said was use Form A early. Which is what I stated. Mind you this is Nigeria. We all woke up one day and saw our card could no longer do international transactions. So anything can happen. But if you have inside information from CBN feel free to share because it looks like you have .

I don't know if DMC is counted or not, that means it is not even 15days for the person sef. I was just stating that it was not yet past 15 working As the person mentioned.

Today or tomorrow is 15 working days na. Mon, 29 Aug 2022 was Summer Bank Holiday. If they didn't count it has working day that means 15 working days is tomorrow. If they count it as a working day then today is 15 working days . Unless your DMC day is different from BIO day and you are counting from BIO day.

Also CBN wants to cancel Form A by December or so(I don't know if they have change mind o before people come for me). It was on MMU website. So do your Form A sharp sharp

You still have enough time since it is January resumption. Apply for Form A pay your deposit. Their CAS Issuing is taking longer (Don't know if it is faster now) as they have high volume request. You can wait a little let September resumption people finish. Then Apply for CAS they may not ask you since you have plenty time till January resumption. But keep your mind open. If they check your CAS assessment, they may require you. But a lot of people on this forum as apply to MMU without POF for CAS because they applied early. Also Check out their Chancellor scholarship (8k) for first class and Vice Chancellor Scholarship(6k) for second class. Check if it still open and if your course qualify. They will give remove their 3k and give you 6K or 8k instead depending . Good luck

Yes you need POF for CAS.If you are applying for CAS few weeks before resumption.

I just got an unconditional offer to Manchester Metropolitan University, I would have preferred Glasgow Caledonia but they are yet to offer me admission.

I am thinking of considering this offer, so I can sort all out as soon as possible before January resumption..

I got a 3k scholarship, I was also told to make a 3k deposit.. Please who knows their payment plan? Do they need POF before issuing CAS?

Then I thought admissions should be Conditional before offering unconditional…

I ventured into Aloe Vera Farming Earlier on this year and its been a success so far all thanks to God. I used only manure and water... Voila. I have been making cool cash on the side. I have both the male and female bunch. This plant is highly medicinal and has been known to cure so many diseases. Very soon, I believe I will cash out on all my subsistence farming... All thanks to God.

Plant something today be it watermelon, cucumber and aloe vera. They are highly profitable and gainful.

Anybody don collect study visa recently?

I collected mine today.I got mail from vfs yesterday.I submitted 26th January.

Yeah ideally it is 8 weeks or even less. Before covid and all a friend of mine got hers in 4 weeks, the two different times she applied,that was 2017 and 2019.But in 2020 it became really slow, a family friend submitted in Late October and Got his visa in February at some point we even thought he was lying because we knew it doesn't take that long but when i saw this thread i now understand. The Guy is in SA now UJ precisely.

Hello everyone! I submitted my application on 3rd March at vfs Lagos, I haven’t heared from them till now, I track online also it say still under assessment at the SA high commission, has anyone who submitted same day received theirs yet?

Things are really slow now with the high commission especially Lagos, i guess they have a lot of back logs and also Covid,by the way Some people who Submitted in January have not gotten response,so you will have to be very patient.

Please as anyone who submitted in January in Lagos gotten response for study permit.
