EducationRe: NISD Second Edition (Planning Thread) by Funom001:
Doubling the score will not be a good idea at all.For example.

School A

success =24

victory= 26

school B

wisdom= 31

favour =absent

school A = 24+26= 50

school B= 31×2= 62

then you mean School B just won like that.
please have another stragedy for it. Thanks

Fynestboi I will wish to contribute on this. The way you are handling this debate is now getting boring. You can't try to favour all and make sure all of the debaters are present. Because if you simply do so. then you will do nothing at the end of the day. I guess most of the debaters all have something good to do also. You fixed a date for the debate and everybody is aware. anybody that is not present is doing it at his or her own disadvantage. Extending it day by day wont help matters.Because today Mr A might be free while Mr B is not free. Tommorrow Mr B might be free while Mr A might not be free. So do you want to be waiting for when both are free? well this is just a suggestion. no hard feelings. Wishing all the debaters success. SHALOM

grin How much do they pay as acceptance fee?? Oau students pay the sum of just #20000for acceptance fee and 2090 for accommodation fee... what a ridiculous price right?? Still we're all clamoring for the best education, best hotels and good electricity... . How feasible can that be since our government doesn't even have enough to cater for the education sector??
May i remind you that federal universities don't even pay tuition fee....
with everything you said. I am meant to believe that every newly admitted student in your school pays nothing less than 40,000 naira for that session multiply it by over 6000 students it will give you 240,000,000 naira. for a year. you mean this will not be enough for proper developement in the school for just a year? not even with the addition of returning students

wow Danjuma's Essay was kul and nyc. the way he wrote and organised it. The preamble to the topic sentences to was kul.Not the less other OAU pals like micro flux did also well. kudos to you all. Danjuma's command of English was nyc and motivating.

And 'your likes' is why Nigeria continues to wallow in mediocrity. This has nothing to do with encouraging 'courageousness'. Yes, five hundred words are allowed, which means the debaters should get to the point as quickly as possible and stick to it, use facts to support their views when necessary, spell properly and provide actual points- not meaningless examples.

I left sentiment out and voted according to the criteria provided. That, to me, is the very definition of fairness.

I have to say, I was somewhat disappointed with the submissions, considering these are supposed to be university students. Besides, I made the previous post when I'd only read Danjuma's entry.
people like you will find it hard to cope with others.simply because you want everything to work or go your own way. Always a faultfinder and yet no corrections to amend them.

I actually think I got sick from reading that angry
hmmmm then I think you should write one yourself.DANJUMA points to me are clear and nyc and you just want to downgrade his writeup.my best so far is his. so next time you are given the chance to grade people's work do it with sense and think twice before you post anything. #no hard feelings#

Look at him looking like a hungry chimpanzee.

After all his failures as president of Nigeria, this old fool still opens his loud mouth to spew rubbish about GEJ who was better than him in many areas of governance.

Anybody close to this old fool should tell him to bring my national identity card for which I stood under the sun and rain only to hear that the billions spent on the project has been embezzled under the watch of the APC errand boy a.k.a OBJ
why will you call an elderly man an OLD FOOL. Despite the fact that he has done nasty things you must a least respect him. If my father is a drunk I will still give him my 100% respect. No hard feelings my friend.
