I REALLY DONT V TO SEE OTHER PEOPLES POST BEFOORE I TYPE MINE, BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE, NYSC IS NOT A WASTE OF TIME, ALTHOUGH IT DEPENDS ON THE INDIVIDUAL, I ENJOYED EVERYDAY OF MY SERVICE FROM THE FIRST DAY TO THE LAST, u need to understand that nysc is not for trip but can also be for maximum trips, it's a year of service. alot of contries allow the youth for a year of military training, so wats the big deal in ours. i think it should be encouraged

hhhhhhhhmmmmmmm, my fellow nairalanders waitin for the 1st bank call, lets hope we get lucky because dats wat we need now (sure God's favour) i heard from a relaible source dat the reason they decided to post pone the 2nd batch induction was 'cos the directors felt there were not enough northerners (in a bank again!!!), so u know wats next, the pay is tantalizing and i hope we get the call up cos we deserve it( i'm sure bout my self at least)

contrary to the various opinion, i read about this topic, but don't think the best way to go about it is to discourage freshers, my posting to edo statwe is not my doin or our doin, the camp was really bad when we got in, the governor no try, we all know that gist, rejection was the koko when were there, but, i know with the new state co-ordinator, has done so much, most of these things are not like it used to be. i don't know what your definition of NYSC IS, butr i think it's a year of service, when i say on corper's corner (i'm a presenter) that i'm having fun, i mean it because of the way i have structured my programme, service can be really misreable if you want it to be, i share your various pains, which sincerely i also went through, but i don't have any regret over my service. i think anybody coming to edo state should just seek for favour.
