I am an atheist so I do not attribute anything to a non existent being.
However, if you are a christian, god has to be responsible for everything that happens. Afterall, according to your beliefs, he is omnipotent and every thing that happens, happens because he wills it to happen.

1) The bible shows how God caused painful suffering in the old testament. Killing Jobs family just to test his faith. Giving the Egyptians (some of whom were innocent) plagues and killing their innocent first born children.

2) God created, everything according to you, therefore, he created leprosy, earthquakes, floods and suffering
