In my opinion, Mary is not the Mother of God (Trinity-being). Bible does not use such language. She is Mother of Jesus in the flesh.

Neither Jesus nor his apostles commanded us to pray to Mary.

1 Timothy 2:5 says "There is one mediator between God and Men, the man Christ Jesus". Mary is not a mediator. There's only one.

Hebrews 4:10 says "Whoever that enter into his rest has ceased from his own works."
Mary is not hearing prayers or praying for anyone in Heaven. She is resting. She has ceased from her works. Jesus is the one who makes intercessions for the saints. {Romans 8:34}

This heretic counterfeit religion was founded by the pagan Roman Empire who killed all the Apostles of Jesus and many believers. Genocide could not stop Christianity, so they subverted it.

As Jesus said, they will come in my name and deceive many. (Mark 13:6). She is the Mystery Babylon, Mother of Harlots and Abominations who have drunk the blood of the saints. (Revelation 17:6).

The Mary that the Roman Catholics worship is Ishthar, a Babylonian goddess. Both she and her son Talmuz are pagan deities imported by the Romans into Christianity. You'll understand why it is prophetically called mystery Babylon.
