Sigh...

Well well well.. I don't have anything to say than to declare the winner after posting the scores as sent to me by the judges.

Nevertheless, I will like to retrace this, whichever team will be declare the winner today, should not see it as injustice probably because we prevented them from presenting their two REPRESENTATIVES (UNILORIN) or because unforseen circumstances kept you offline, even though you affirm your present for today's debate (ABU ZARIA), See whoever wins as a result of the handiwork of the person representing your Team as I believe the Judges will be fair in all possible means in grading, so I implore the both TEAM to maintain absolute decorum and accept either winning or losing.. Thanks..

There will be third place match as there are prizes for the third place winner as well.

Kindly relax, chill while I post the result...

Obinoscopy: Timidelaw did great in his main article but was very poor in his rebuttals

Emaculate99 needs to get his facts right. Lots of historical errors in his main article
Here are Emaculate99 errors:

" Historically, the amalgamation of Nigeria stemmed out from the 1984/85 scramble of Africa which took no recourse for the interest of the people in the communities that were being shared."
Was the amalgamation carried in 1984/85?

"Moreover, the mistake of the 1914 amalgamation has been expressed by eminent personalities like Obafemi Awolowo, Tafawa Balewa and a host of others and have been put into action by the Biafrans in 1963 and recently
The Biafra declaration was in 1967, not 1963

Horlapelumi's article wasn't robust enough. Very few viable points. A good argumentative essay is one which maximises the number of viable points to buttress his arguement within the limited space given.

All in all, they did great.

My best contestant is Temidelaw. Although, he was very poor in his rebuttals. He needs to work on that.

My team, through our leader, Neyoor . already proposed a postponement which I think is quite benevolent. Some would have proposed something different, like total disqualification, because the efforts put in by others can not be overlooked.

The date has been long scheduled. So, I don't know why someone is been excused for not showing up.

By the way, we wrote essays during our exam periods too.
Nope you didn't... We had to shift yours because of your exam ask Neyoor..
