When some of my compatriots say Trump should come, I use to wonder how the Americans will get those fulanis that attack people of middle belt as they're the real perpetuator of the so called "Christian genocide" These killer fulanis will invade communities in the night, massacre people and disappear into thin air before dawn, they're not like the bandits and the Boko Haram terrorists because they don't move around with arms in the daytime as they're herders in the day but killers under the cover of darkness. What Nigeria need is collaboration with the Americans to help in advanced technology to detect these terrorists and wipe them off not an agenda that could worsen the situation by furthering ethnic and religious schism |

I am guilty of number 4, as I can't make out time to memorise phone numbers. Apart from my own lines, I don't know any other numbers off head, my wife and kids inclusive. I am not good in memorising phone numbers. Whenever my phones are stolen, it will be as If I'm lost in the wild. |
Not to defend this, these kids on the voting queue might be place holders for some adults who couldn't stand the rigours of standing on the queue. But if this situation is reported in the North, there will be outrage from the South Easternes |
Whynotthetruth:and when it's about Lagos he will suddenly go back to that level he's passed 13 years ago and his entrenched interest will manifest. When it's Anambra, it's family affair but when in southwest, their will be cries and gnashing of teeth if his candidates lose. |
These are kidnappers trying to ambush the bus to kidnap the passengers, we shouldn't be fuelling the so called "Christian genocide" because of the inscription on the bus. This shouldn't be misconstrued as target on Christians, it's rather a random kidnap attempt. |
2027 presidential election will be a no contest. The master of the game has already won before the contest begins |
We need to reduce our birth rate to 1 child per couple. If we are not productive we need not be growing our population exponentially. Our maxim nowadays should be "Grow the economy not the population" . Imagine we're able to retain same population of the early 80s, poverty rate will not be more than 5% by now. Our leaders have no foresight, all they know is embezzlement and ego worshipping. |
Actually this a sad reality of the security situation in Nigeria and it's not going to stop soon. The security officials are overwhelmed and the government is not taking an holistic approach to tackling this menace. With our governors drawing billions from the treasury in the name of security votes with virtually nothing to show in helping the security situation across the country. As the report says, this is the reality we're now living with, commuting between one state to another is now a security risk of being kidnapped. The Tinubu government and the governments at sub national levels should rise up to tackle this menace once and for all |
It takes two to tango, once consent is given, it's all clear. Men should tell their wives not to sleep with other people's husband. And like they say in local parlance, dido l'obo. |
Backward state, see the hype for just flagging of a road construction. And this make him the best governor, the way Otti is being hyped you'll think every road Abia is tarred. Many state governors are doing a lot better than him but Obidient propaganda will make us believe he's doing wonders because he's the only governor elected on the Obidient platform. |
The Beninoise came close to scoring twice, first was saved by Chiamaka and second hit the bar, we need to up our game if we're to qualify for for the world Cup and retain the WAFCON trophy. I thought the scoreline won't be less than 4 nil, but the most important thing is qualifying for the WAFCON which is already a fait accompli |
APC isn't afraid of elections coming up in 2026, but those who knows their defeat is looming are scared of going into election. In 2015 when Jonathan's defeat was looming, he postponed the election by some weeks so that he can buy time to rally round influential elders in the south West to talk to their people but this didn't stop his defeat. While we all agree there's need for conclusion of election petition cases in the courts before swearing in, the opposition are still not happy with bringing the election forward to accommodate judicial process conclusion before inauguration. |
No matter how perfect an eletroral law we come up with, if politicians still don't play by the rules, our election outcomes will still end up being validated by the courts. Winning at all cost by the politicians is the albatross of our elections and most of those who are resoundingly defeated in elections will still not accept defeat and will approach the courts to look for technicalities to secure victory. And the election umpire will always be the fall guy as INEC will always be blamed for every defeat politicians suffered in the polls. |
They know there's no way their defence will counter the prosecution's daunting evidence against Kanu successfully and that's why all this tactics are being deployed. Kanu's going to be convicted and he's already serving his time in dss custody, this shenanigans he's displaying won't help. If he wants Tinubu's intervention he should first show genuine remorse or else it will be an indefinite life in the valley for him. |
They are even the one begging to defect to APC, if you're in doubt ask Mutfwang of Plateau and Osun's Adeleke. In these 2 states, the APC stakeholders are so strong that they are resisting the defection of the governors to their fold. I don't know where the story of APC arm twisting the governors to join their fold is coming from. |
I thought having women at the helm of affairs is a blessing until Tanzania produce a woman president. Under her watch social media are being restricted. |
The son's name "Adeboye" means he was born while Obasanjo's at helm of affairs as head of state between 1976 and 1979. Adeboye means "he arrives while on the throne" |
This is over zealousness on the part of the policeman, he should be fished out and punished for misuse of firearms |

Most likely FG will coming for Natasha too, Natasha too might be taken to court for criminal defamation on her sexual harassment claim against Akpabio. Nwaebonyi will need to go defend his defamation of Natasha while Natasha will have her day in court too for the defence of her allegation. |
You won't see this video on Orjy Okpe's what's trending on Arise TV. She's been spreading IPOB propaganda of late, doing whatever she can to claim Nnamdi Kanu's trial isn't justified. |
We should not pretend we don't know why we slide down the ladder in the gdp rankings, it's basically the floating of the naira. |
I could remember when Adeseye Ogunlewe, a former minister of works under PDP came on an Arise TV morning show, he was asked about the 2027 election and he responded that Tinubu is the master of the game and he's the president. I was asking myself while watching the programme what this man means by Tinubu is master of the game, now I can see why he's called the master in the game of politics. He's the Jagaban for a reason. |
We are no different from the people we criticise, we only criticise because we don't have our hands in the cookie jar. |
Deepthoughts:we can't stop defections, they just have to give up the office they are elected to if they defect. Defect and lose your seat in the parliament and as a governor of local government chairman, you quit the office |
Racoon:be deceiving yourself, in 2015 the then opposition APC is the beneficiary of the gale of defection largely from the ruling PDP, and the APC used the advantage to win the presidential election, now APC as the ruling party is benefiting from defections to it's fold and not the other way round. The handwriting is on the wall already and you guys can choose to be blind to it. At the end of the day you will still be shouting about stolen mandate. |
Sometimes politics is hard to understand in Nigeria, Our minister of FCT is controlling both APC and PDP in his home state of Rivers, Peter Obi that's planning to contest the 2027 presidential election is in both Labour Party and ADC, though not sure the platform he's using for his ambition right now, as the ADC is firmly in the grip of Atiku while the Labour party is in disarray. Interesting times are ahead, we'll see how things play out in the build up to 2027 |
One thing is certain, he's not porting to LP, it's either APC or ADC |
