SportsRe: Chaos In Kinshasa As DR Congo Fans Riot After Senegal Defeat (Photos/Video) by gabbasin(m): 10:56pm On Sep 10, 2025
richiemcgold:
Nigerians can be rowdy and chaotic like this, we still carry sense pass some people
we did same at the Abuja National stadium when we draw Ghana during the 2022 qualifiers, fans invaded the pitch after the final whistle and vandalise everything in sight.
Most of the fans reaction in Africa are mainly due to hunger and hopelessness which make us take football as our only source of joy. And when we fail in football: the anger comes back forcefully resulting into aggression of vandalisation
CrimeRe: Onitsha Main Market: Anambra Police React To The Killing Situation In The Market by gabbasin(m): 7:22pm On Sep 09, 2025
This is the reason I am averse to creation of state police, there will be escalation of extra judicial killings, impunity and rash gun use by operatives. State police isn't the answer to the level of criminality we have in Nigeria, the solution lies in good governance, equipping the existing security apparatus and motivating our security personnel. Having a security force under our governors is very risky
PoliticsRe: INEC No Fit Rig 2027 Election For Tinubu - Lauretta Onochie by gabbasin(m): 6:09pm On Sep 08, 2025
Elipsis:
Can't wait to see our usual APC goons lambast Lauretta Onochie.

This same woman they praised to the high heavens throughout Buhari's tenure.

Life is really fickle
the same woman Obidients lambasted under Buhari now they're singing her praise, same as El Rufai being called names by Obidients now seen as a potential running mate to their principal. In politics there's no principle, it's all about permanent interest not permanent enemy.
PoliticsRe: Natasha Akpoti To Resume At The Senate After London Trip – Lawyer by gabbasin(m): 1:48pm On Sep 08, 2025
Till now, no evidence of her sexual harassment allegation against Akpabio, it is well.
CrimeRe: Gunmen Abduct Chinese Worker From BUA Cement Factory, Kill 8 NSCDC Officers by gabbasin(m): 4:26pm On Sep 06, 2025
One of the most dangerous road in Nigeria is the Okene-Auchi road, Motorists and passengers are attacked and kidnapped at will, even armed escorts don't deter these dare devil criminals. It's on this same road that Pastor Suleiman was attacked and his security escorts killed, thanks to his bullet proof car and dexterity of his driver, he would have been kidnapped or killed. That road needs military patrol to deter these bastards
PoliticsRe: Enugu Government Reacts To Sujimoto CEO's Viral Video by gabbasin(m): 8:49am On Sep 06, 2025
Enugu State Government should confiscate his properties, I heard that he's an estate developer. He should be made to cough out every kobo he diverted. Work done should be quantified and he should be made to refund the remainder of the 50% collected
BusinessRe: I Collected A Customer's Phone Because He Couldn't Pay, Now I'm Bothered by gabbasin(m): 8:42am On Sep 06, 2025
You've done what's supposed to be done in that circumstance, the business isn't yours, so if your boss comes you can show him you have the indebted customer's phone in lieu of his balance of 25k. If I am to be your boss, I will praise you for your no nonsense stand. Most customers take the dealers magnaminity of giving out goods on credit for granted by paying for goods whenever they feel like or not wanting to pay up at all.
CrimeRe: Dismissed Police Officer Promotes Self, Resumes Duty At Lagos State Command by gabbasin(m): 4:52pm On Sep 05, 2025
So if a policeman is posted to a command or division, there's no official communication channel informing the officer in charge of the command or the DPO on the posting. Someone will just appear in uniform with a fake letter of posting and start work in a police station without any direct communication to the concerned DPO. Corruption is so much entrenched in the police that someone will be working without salary because what is to be made from bribes, illegal arrest, intimidations is enough for a take home. Imagine handling rifle to a fake policeman. We are finished in this country
CrimeRe: Olasijibomi in tears, explains Fallout With Enugu Governernment (Video) by gabbasin(m): 4:32pm On Sep 05, 2025
This guy is spewing balderdash, you're given a contract that you know it's not profitable and you gladly accepted it thinking you'll make up of the loss in a further contract you're promised. You didn't tell us the worth of the contract nor if paid upfront for the contract. You now come up in a video to say you had an accident in the course of executing the contract and your workers were shot at. All these are excuses in your failure to execute the contract successfully thinking the state government will accept filmsy excuses from you by not holding you accountable for the failed contract. Better go and report yourself to EFCC. It's not by force to accept a contract you know the amount you're going to be paid is not enough to successfully execute it.
Foreign AffairsRe: Trump To Rename US Department Of Defense To 'Department Of War' by gabbasin(m): 11:00am On Sep 05, 2025
Trumpet of war, no more pretentions. Department of War and Aggression should be more apt.
PoliticsRe: Sirika Blames Air Peace, United, Azman For Failure Of Nigeria Air by gabbasin(m): 2:12pm On Sep 04, 2025
3 billion naira wasted and he's not ashamed saying this, we have a corrupt and wasteful system that throws up mediocres like Sirika. The man that should have been in jail by now had it been we are serious in fighting corruption. 3 billion of public funds spent with nothing to show for it.
HealthRe: Jogging Vs Brisk Walking: Which Exercise Is Better For Your Heart? by gabbasin(m): 10:24pm On Sep 01, 2025
charlsecy:
They probably had existing issues.
Yes, most people are oblivious of any existing health issue, and a strenuous exercise can trigger this issues resulting in cardiac arrest. Active sportsmen who are perceived healthy can be susceptible to cardiac arrest. So for adults, do light exercise, walking is okay, don't put your body to stress.
PoliticsRe: Shocking Revelation In Late Edwin Clark’s Will To Wives by gabbasin(m): 1:20pm On Sep 01, 2025
I pity that last woman Chief Clarke married, Iyabo Obasanjo's friend that lost his son in an armed robbery incident in Ogun state that prompted Obasanjo to seal Nigeria's border with Republique du Benin as the robbers were suspected to be operating from Benin leading to the arrest of stolen vehicles receiver, a Beninoise Ahmadou Tidjani who died in Prison in Nigeria
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Professionals, Families Stranded As U.S. Cancels Visas’ by gabbasin(m): 1:10pm On Sep 01, 2025
Some of us in Nigeria were supporting Trump against the liberal Democrats, now our visas are being cancelled, relatives over there who remmit dollars to us back home are being threatened by Trumps immigrant fiat and uncertainty pervades others who are apprehensive about the next Trump move. An irrational man in the White House.
HealthRe: Jogging Vs Brisk Walking: Which Exercise Is Better For Your Heart? by gabbasin(m): 11:20pm On Aug 31, 2025
Walking is less risky, Jogging not that bad but elderly people should avoid it, I know one or two people who had cardiac arrest while jogging but they are elderly. Walking is generally recommended of adults. Though one can die too while walking.
PoliticsRe: I Know Evil When I See It, This Government came to steal from Day 1 - El-Rufai by gabbasin(m): 10:49pm On Aug 31, 2025
franchasofficia:
I know Bola Tinubu and his inner caucus are regretting why they let El Rufai go. El Rufai will be the main architect of Tinubu's downfall.
El Rufai's better left out of government than been in government, he would have caused disaffection within government if he'd been made a minister. The main reason he's left out is that he would have caused a lot of infighting within the cabinet and it will cause chaos in government and he will be uncontrollable. His past activities as a cabinet minister is his greatest undoing that prompt the "security report" used to deny him the ministerial post. His machnations and shenanigans will be too much for the Tinubu government to bear if given a seat in the cabinet. What Obasanjo wrote about him in his book "My Watch" is an indictment on his personality.
PoliticsRe: Obi’s Litigious Reflexes Vs Adeyanju’s Burden Of Truth - Farooq Kperogi by gabbasin(m): 12:21pm On Aug 31, 2025
What I know for sure is that Obi won't sue Deji for defamation.
PoliticsRe: Aisha Yesufu Asks Deji Adeyanju For Fraud Evidence On Obi by gabbasin(m): 8:29pm On Aug 29, 2025
Did she ask Natasha Akpoti for evidence on her allegation against Akpabio. Did she demand evidence from Dele Farotimi against Afe Babalola I know for sure that Obi won't take Deji to court. He won't take that risk. It's just an empty threat.
FamilyRe: Lawyer, Can A Father Lawfully Get Custody Of A Child Born Out Of Wedlock? by gabbasin(m): 11:16am On Aug 28, 2025
MarkNsukkaBread:
What are the deciding factors?

Please list some of them
if the mother is deceased.
If the mother is of unsound mind
If the child is over 6 years
If the mother is a drug addict
If mother has no means of caring for the child
FamilyRe: Lawyer, Can A Father Lawfully Get Custody Of A Child Born Out Of Wedlock? by gabbasin(m): 9:52am On Aug 28, 2025
A father is a father either the child is fathered outside wedlock or not, having lawful custody of a child by the father depends on so many factors.
SportsRe: Uchenna Kanu Builds A House For Her Mother (photos/video) by gabbasin(m): 9:32am On Aug 28, 2025
Na only mother dem dey build mansion for, fathers don suffer, you'll hardly see mansion being built for fathers. Dear men, enjoy your life as much as you can cos no one dey send you in old age
PoliticsRe: 2027: Amaechi Rules Out Stepping Down, Declares Interest In ADC Presidential Tic by gabbasin(m): 9:29am On Aug 28, 2025
Amaechi is fighting hard to deputise Atiku, he's contesting the vice presidential candidate with Obi. All the noise is just to be vice to Atiku.
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Removal, Good Policy Wrongly Implemented – Ezekwesili by gabbasin(m): 8:08am On Aug 26, 2025
She should tell us how it should have been rightly implemented. Just shifting goal post, "it shouldn't have been removed on day one" to "it should have been implemented gradually". Easier said than done. Opposition for the sake of opposition, she needs to tell us the alternative ways of removing the subsidy that will not cause inflation.
The only thing I am against in the subsidy removal is the conditional cash transfer in the name of palliative, it really has no effect as it did not get to the targeted people, FG was stampeded in giving the palliative that has no real bearing in helping the downtrodden.
FamilyRe: “man Sends Wife Money For 20 Years, Returns To Meet Empty Shell” by gabbasin(m): 10:49pm On Aug 25, 2025
This is just a content, in this Internet age, you did not ask for pictures, you did not call your wife on video while on site to show you the project, you did not talk with any of the workers to at least give them some preference or instructions on some aspect of the building. You now come back home and surprised at the stage of the building as if you weren't aware all along
FamilyRe: Boy Accused Of Witchcraft, Abandoned & Rescued By Danish Lady Graduates From Sch by gabbasin(m):
I think this practice of labelling kids as witch because their parents aren't doing well financially in parts of Akwa Ibom and Cross River is thinning out, so called men of God in this zone have caused damages to families and death to lot of kids by this fake labelling. I hardly hear of this devilish practice by these fake pastors these days and I hope a stop has been put to this satanic practice. Kudos to this woman for bringing this boy back from the brink. Shame on us Africans. We believe in every nonsense
PoliticsRe: Alaba Rago: Lagos Government Demolishes Northern Traders’ Market by gabbasin(m): 7:45pm On Aug 25, 2025
iwaeda:
Alaba Rago after Orile towards FESTAC is a notorious place, how various government closed eyes to allowed it to degenate to that level. Anyways my path doesn't cross that area for now. grin grin grin grin
Alaba rago isn't after orile towards Festac, the one you're referring to by this description is Alaba suru, Both Alaba are on the Lagos Badagry expressway, but the one that's demolished is after okokomaiko before Volks
RomanceRe: Court Orders Lady to Pay ₦450k For Collecting Transport Fare & Failing to Show by gabbasin(m): 1:55pm On Aug 25, 2025
chiagozien:
Just say you don't know you have the right to choose language you think you understand Best when in court.

It can be skit, but in real you can choose Igbo language in court,if the judge doesn't speak or understand Igbo, interpreter will come in.
I the video, the judge is speaking in igbo. I know an accused is allowed to speak the language he/she understands in a court of law as there's always an interpreter but a magistrate or judge reading his judgement in igbo makes the video not real
RomanceRe: Court Orders Lady to Pay ₦450k For Collecting Transport Fare & Failing to Show by gabbasin(m): 1:11pm On Aug 25, 2025
This is a skit, I don't know where a magistrates court's proceedings will be conducted in igbo language in Lagos, even no magistrates court conducts it's proceedings in igbo in the south east.
A skit being circulated as a real life occurrence, and major media platforms are circulating this unverified story.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Exiting Years Of Economic Doldrum But Hard Road Ahead Still by gabbasin(m): 12:44pm On Aug 25, 2025
"And the skylines of big cities are littered with big tanks holding water from privately dug borehole"
This is the stark reality of failure of governments at all levels to provide pipe borne water to households in the country. Most water corporations in our states have collapsed, billions earmarked for water projects have gone to waste or outright embezzlement. We are all contented with getting ourselves portable water by drilling boreholes individually for our homes.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Reaffirms 2027 Presidential Ambition, Rejects Claims That He Might Opt Out by gabbasin(m): 12:30pm On Aug 25, 2025
Mynd44:
Nobody in that ADC coalition can beat Atiku in a primary election. Even if they all come together, they still can't defeat him.

Someone that almost defeated Buhari in 2015 at APC primary election in Lagos.

And yet though, Atiku remains the only aspirant that can beat Tinubu in 2027.

Any other projection is just a waste of electoral funds
someone who came third behind Kwankwaso is someone who nearly defeated Buhari. Though he's getting the ADC ticket no doubt but the record needs to be put straight.
PoliticsRe: Fake News: EFCC Reacts To Reports Of Interpol Rejecting Wanted Alert On Haske by gabbasin(m): 12:41pm On Aug 24, 2025
LagosOrigin:
When the Canadian government declared APC a terrorist organization, you guys said it's fake news but it turned out to be true.

Truth is, Nigeria has become a laughing stock under tinubu.
it's still a fake news, it's PDP that was indicted for actions termed as terrorism.
SportsRe: Peter Rufai Burial: I Will Never Advise My Son To Play For This Country - Taribo by gabbasin(m): 7:42pm On Aug 22, 2025
Peter Rufai is a hero, and deserves a befitting burial, and so the NFF should be part of the burial arrangement. But for Taribo West to think the NFF and Lagos state government should cover the burial expenses is an entitlement mentality. Today some of us criticise government for giving the victorious Super Faicons and the D'tigress humongous amount for their achievements but tomorrow we will still complain government isn't doing enough for them.
Taribo's age was doctored to appear for Nigeria in the African under 20 championship in 1993 as he's way over the age limit as at that time, and that tournament launched him into limelight. He should be appreciative that the country gave him the platform to be what he is today and should try to control his emotions. If he has a child that's good in football, his child will need Nigeria more than Nigeria will need him/her. There were others better than Taribo that didn't have the opportunity to represent Nigeria as he did.
