Politics / Re: Dino Melaye Mocks Yahaya Bello After He Was Declared Wanted By EFCC (Video) by gabbasin(m): 9:46am On Apr 19 |
Childish, what's the difference between him and Yahaya Bello, he had once tried to dodge prosecution by using all manner of tricks like feigning sickness and hiding on a tree. Yahaya's cup is full though, he's now a butt of jokes. He better give himself up for prosecution. Prosecution is neither persecution nor conviction. 1 Like |

RIP to him, but this guy was enlightened enough to know he should demand for a life jacket if he's to ride on a boat. Safety first, use a life jacket while on a boat or ferry, no matter how convincing the operator of the boat sounds, don't go on a boat ride without a life jacket if you're not a good swimmer |

For example, Epinmi Àkókò and Ishua Akoko are towns in Ondo state with a distance of less than 10 kilometers to each other but they speak different languages. while in Àkókò Edo wé have some communities that speak Ebira among other languages 2 Likes 1 Share |

He isn't desperate but he came 3rd and he's claiming he won, he's been going everywhere breaking fast with moslems, donating boreholes to communities in the north. It's now he's realizing northern and moslem votes are crucial to winning the presidency, last time he thought only the south and Christian votes are enough to get to Aso rock but the realities in the 2023 failure is making him desperate by going to demographs he neglected the other time 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: Electricity Tarriff Hike: "AEDC Want To Send Me Back To The Village" by gabbasin(m): 11:13am On Apr 04 |
I am suspecting FG deliberately come up with this astronomical increase in tariff pretending it is for customers on Band "A" so as so test the waters. Anticipating a fight back by the people, they will slash the tariff to around 150 or 250 naira to appease the public but this time the tariff will be across board 1 Like 1 Share |

Politics / Re: FG To Remove Electricity Subsidy, Current Tariff Rates Unrealistic - Onanuga by gabbasin(m): 9:36am On Apr 03 |
Let's be sincere here, if we want any semblance of stability in power supply, the tariff has to go up, but with a caveat: all customers have to be metered. Without a cost reflective tariff there will little or no investment in the power sector. |

Properties / Re: What's The Labour Cost Of Plastering A Three Bedroom Flat by gabbasin(m): 8:03pm On Mar 19 |
It's a day job to plaster a room for a master bricklayer and one laborer, a 3 bedroom flat will make approximately 9 rooms depending on the size of the palour, dining area and kitchen. The outer area can be equivalent to 5 rooms. So just approximate the whole of the building to 15 rooms, master bricklayer @ 10,000 per room and the laborer @ 5000 per rooms makes 15k Labour per room. Times 15k by 15 and you will get 225k for the whole building. You can negotiate with your bricklayer with this calculation on your head, If you negotiate well, this can be done for less than 200k. Note that Bricklayer and labourer rates vary from one area to another 2 Likes |
