I remember 2016 when I was serving in rivers state. There is a place called DR Junction, very long and bad road inside a city Portharcourt, the place is closed to shell resident for their staffs.

One man there told me when shell wanted to construct that road, the community asked shell to pay 10m before they can construct the road.

Imagine a road that a company wants to use their money to construct o and will benefit all of them, they were asking money.

Shell just left the road, build a fence that is high that you can't see their resident and use another route as entrance.
