My wife and i have both.

Whenever i want to drive over a long distance with low budget for fuel, i use the corolla, but, i have to contend with it`s "paper weight" (when compared to camry`s) i.e you feel the impact of entering some small pot-holes more. the accerelation is super, speed is great.

But, if i want more ruggedness on the road, average fuel economy, driving over small pot-holes without feeling the impact much, infact, my wife prefers the camry when she is preg, more balance weight on the road at high speed, average start up acceleration ( 4 cylinders), great speed on the long run. i go for the toyota camry.

That is all i can put down now within the little time i had to respond to your request.

* Sorry , a wrong choice of words, i meant to say i removed the battery from the corrola while the engine was running and used it to start another car whose battery was flat. Everything done within 3 mins and that was the only option i had in order to beat time, though never had an idea of its implications, so thanks for the enlightenment.

I hardly make contributions in this forum, but i read comments from participants a lot because i do learn from them. Permit me to share my little experience on thesame issue but with a different type of car, maybe it may calm down some fray nerves.

The first two times that i have had cause to remove the battery from my 05 corrola had resulted in unstable performance of the car`s egine, but later became stabilised after using it for about 2 days. The last and third time i was forced to remove the battery in order to jump start another car, i kept the engine running b4 the battery removal, with that, i was able to avoid the palava.

Obviously, when you remove some cars` batteries, it destablises some settings.

I BELIEVE IT IS THE COST OF KILOWATTS SUPPLIED TO INDUSTRIES THAT IS GOING UP FROM N12.90K TO N40 WHILE FOR DOMESTIC IS FROM N8.50 TO N10, THAT IS FOR 3 PHASE METERS.

Thanks guys, i had wriiten down the last number series above as the engine number, but the guy doing the stuff said it can not be right, hence, i will be using a mechanic to do that 2morow. thanks once again

Pls, the gurus, i need to register an 05 corolla by 2morow, but on checking the engine number plate on the car`s engine, i found different number series such as 13A00, 1188-6-5 and 05FZT17952.
PLS WHICH OF THEM COULD BE THE ENGINE NUMBER.
