wisestman: you applied for a volunteer work and you are asking if there is a salary or are you referring to other benefits attached to the free work you are about to do? Some places offer paid volunteering |

KasJoi: I applied for a volunteer position at Royal Mifadelo Global Foundation and i got an interview invitation.
My challenge here is that there's not enough information about the foundation online.
Please if anyone knows anything about this foundation i'd appreciate it if you can share that knowledge. I don't want to walk into danger. Hi, please I'll like to know more about how the interview went. I'll mail you. Thanks. |

Angelfrost: Am taking the fifth on all this, but I suggest you go back and read his submission again. He made very valid points. NAFDAC is 'over-killing' this situation plainly in order to draw attention away from their glaring failings and incompetence. They could easily have placed an embargo on them from further production of codeine, trying to save face, and curry favour from Nigerians by shutting down one of the oldest, well-respected pharmaceutical outfits is one of the worst and stupid attempts at damage control I have ever seen. Ok |
Health › Re: NAFDAC Seals Off Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Others Over Codeine Abuse by gabrielniy(m): 2:01pm On May 08, 2018 |
Bishopsgate: Which freaking investigation are you talking about? What is yet to be discovered or unearthed?
1. There is a codeine abuse epidemic especially in the North.
2. People buy them off the shelf without any form of restriction or prescription.
3. We need to ensure that pharmacies are adequately regulated to ensure that only those that truly need it get it.
4. To do 3 above, laws need to be put on place to guide the manufacturers on distribution modalities to ensure it gets to the pharmacies only who will only dispense on receipt of a valid prescription.
Closing and employer of labour in a country like ours that is grossly suffering from unemployment and under manufacturing is just self destructive.
If human life is really important to the government, Why hasn't the ministry of agriculture banned cow herding and grazing in Nigeria due to the thousands of people that have died as a result of the long archaic method of meat production and the wahala it creates with farmers and replace it with ranching?
So it's the factories that can be closed so easily via fiat abi? Freaking investigation? Okay. The matter on ground has to do with the ministry of health, I don't know how herding comes in. If these companies have nothing to hide, they should have cooperated maximally. BTW, you just shifted goal post, your previous premise was a tribal one which I negated. If Emzor is guilty as supposed, they should face the music, Nigerians don't care if the owner if from the moon. |
Health › Re: NAFDAC Seals Off Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Others Over Codeine Abuse by gabrielniy(m): 8:21am On May 08, 2018 |
carpmam: I don't know y they are ganging up against emzor, they nafdac gave them the license to produce codeine, they gave them the specific quantity to be produced daily, why are they now sealing the company, have it been established that they produce more of the drug,or is it just because the owner of the company is from the east,or maybe because she is a woman Emzor was closed because they are not cooperating with ongoing investigation. You don't have to spew ignorance all over by attributing the closure to tribal reasoning. You can do better than this. |

Sapiosexuality: Why should we be upset at the choice of others? For real? Are you really asking? I'd let this pass but if you care and serious I will go that lane.
So what is wrong with being upset or disturbed and asking for clarification on the matter? Don't we have rights to be upset at even things we do and do not understand? And how is saying that anything upsets wrong where the explanation is insufficient? Tell me, what exactly did she say is wrong? Why should Chimamanda be upset at the choice of Hilary? That's the bone of contention here. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Hillary Clinton To Change Her Twitter Bio After Chimamanda Adichie's Criticism by gabrielniy(m): 5:21pm On Apr 24, 2018 |
Sapiosexuality: How is it easy to say someone criticized someone and it is bad but difficult to show how it is criticism and bad? If I say your username Jeezuzpick critiques Jesus and bad should I be taken serious if I'm unwilling to show how it critiques Jesus and bad? What's the difference between these questions and your position? Chimamanda said "she was upset". Why should you be upset at the choice of another. Ngozi made it look like being a mom is degrading. Check Obama's bio, the first thing is "dad". Let's people (women) choose what they want, that's the concept of feminism. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Hillary Clinton To Change Her Twitter Bio After Chimamanda Adichie's Criticism by gabrielniy(m): 5:16pm On Apr 24, 2018 |

I don't know where you copied this from, but Anelka has nothing doing on that list. Indomie generation of today might easily get confused with this list but Anelka left Arsenal went to Real, Chelsea, Bolton etc with success all along.

To even imagine someone out there thinks Anelka was a failure is unimaginable. He had a successful career. He's one of the most transfered players in the game, if not the most. People can really be amusing. Alhaji Anelka of all people. |

Education › Re: What Is The Difference Between Industrial Chemistry & Chemical Engineering by gabrielniy(m): 11:03am On Oct 16, 2017 |
madgoat: Hahahahahahahahah the OP is already noticing the fact that he wont get job easily with his industrial chemistry certificate unlike if he had read chemical engineering and thus he is coming to nairaland to try and console himself that industrial chemistry is the same as chemical engineering Industrial chemistry proffers more opportunities than chemical engineering in terms of employment. As long as production/manufacturing is involved, an industrial chemist is needed. The good part is that an industrial chemist can study chemical engineering as a postgraduate program, but a chemical engineer is restricted when it comes to opportunities in industrial chemistry. |

Why won't these guys behave like animals as soon as they get out. Even recon marines don't use protective measures. Survive or Quit, that's the concept. |
