HAH: Let me educate you on the Syrian crises, Bashar al Assad the president of Syria is a Shiiate and Syria is a Shia majority country, and countries in the middle east are mostly sunni, nations like saudi Qatar and UAE who are ruled by family wanted to remove Assad from power, remember assad was elected into power in an election, but despite that the gcc countries look for desident sunnis from Syria and financed and equiped them to fight assad, along the line some became isis others are alqaeda franchise called alnusra, now they sought for a no fly zone to defeat assad like they did to gaddafi but russia and china blocked it at the UN, the war still rages on and Syria with the help of a sister nation Iran and air power from russia are able to defeat them and enclosing them only in alleppo which is a sunni city.
If America want democracy as they profess why won't they make saudi, uae and Qatar to have democracy, another hypocrisy I want you to know is when the terrost disguised as rebel felt the heat not a single refugee was accepted by those that encouraged them to go on war i.e saudi, Qatar and uae, but they trek all they way to germany.
Now my question to you is if you are assad won't you crush a violent opposition turn rebel they way he did? God bless you for this analysis. Many of them don't know the cause of the war, they only rely on what CNN says. The reason why US, UK, Saudi, UAE and Qatar want to remove Assad is, Assad declined them of laying a gas pipeline that was proposed to pass through Syria which would be a link to Europe. Saudi and friends want a puppet that will make them achieve their aim. |

He forgot that, USA is the capital of the world like Nigeria is the capital of West Africa Yes, he is. He is the most powerful man in the world. No country in the world would dear to attack Russia because, it has more nuclear warhead than any other nation. When USA keeps building military bases around the world. Why can't the world antagonise them |

awelekiti: Ask your friends where their forbears migrated from...there's no ingenious Ekiti muslim . Of course, there are fulanis, butchers, traders, etc who are muslims and are resident in Ekiti. That doesn't make them indigenous muslims. They live amongst us like every other tribe. No Oba in Ekiti is muslim, no traditional ruler in Ekiti is muslim, there's no village chief who's a muslim in ekiti...quote me anywhere. I'm not a religious fanatic. We co-habit. Sorry Mr man, as if you know all the Ekiti indigenes. They have family house in Ekiti and they are muslims nor a revert. Some generalising next time. |

awelekiti: I'm half Ondo, half Ekiti and if you call me an indigene of old Ondo State, you're not wrong. Most of the Muslims in Ekiti are visitors from the neighbouring kwara and osun, who came to settle amongst us. There's no ancestral Muslim indigene in Ekiti. In Ondo state, the only area where you can find a handful of Muslim is Ondo town, especially the area where gov mimiko hails from. Most of his family members, including the governor are converted Muslims, except his brother who's professor. We have a few of them from owo too and the number cannot decide the outcome of election in ondo, even if the Muslim non-indigenes joined force with them. However, Christian or Muslim it doesn't matter because we're ever united in the state. The call for religious matter in political decision shouldn't arise in the first place. All we need is a good candidate that can serve us well. Sorry, my friends from Ekiti are muslims. They are from a muslim background. Muslims are everywhere in Yorubaland |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Did Jesus Curse The Fig Tree? by Gaddafithe2nd(m): 2:52pm On Oct 09, 2016 |
emis8: bro, its all in the scripture. if you read the whole chapter, you'll get to hear when Peter acknowledged that the tree he cursed actually died.
Why did he curse the fig tree 1. Jesus is the creator of the world In the beginning, all trees he created rought forth fruits in and out of season, there was always fruits for Adam and Eve to eat. As the creator, he expected that the fig should have fruits wether its his season or not. The fig should have responded to His demand at least. Remember Jesus said, everyone of us who does not bear fruit, my father will uproot, and those of us who do bear fruits, He will trim so that we bear even much fruit.
2. He cursed the tree to teach them about Faith when Peter acknowledged that the fig tree he cursed actually died, Jesus told them to "have faith in God" He told them that if they have the slightest level of Faith, they can speak to a mountain to move from where it is to another place and it will happen as happened to the fig tree.
As a Christian, if you put the little faith you received (as you got born again ) to use, nothing shall be impossible to you. You can speak to anything including money and it will answer you.
Have a glorious Sunday Service. Jesus is the creator of the world. The same Jesus that wept is your own God. Sorry is your case. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Did You Stop Going To Church? by Gaddafithe2nd(m): 11:21am On Oct 09, 2016 |
zicoraads: Laveda...come and confess
Personally, I am at a crossroad. First, I grew up attending our 'traditional' church, all this language churches. My grandfather attended, my parents are attending and we too must attend. But I had to sit down and ask myself about my spiritual life, and I realized I don't have any. Truth be told, sometimes, attending that church leaves you more angry. And when you are not in church on Sundays, Mom would want to kill you with calls. Now though, I just stay indoors and pretend I'm ill. And thank God she hasn't decided to visit my house one of these Sundays.
Secondly, I am starting to totally lose faith in religion. I am not one of those who claim the non-existence of God. I know God exists. My problem is I am starting to think the mode of worshiping him shouldn't be as a Christian who goes to church and a Muslim who goes to mosque. Sometimes, I even believe the Muslims have a better way of worshiping him. Forget the religious fanatics, I have read the Quran and I can authoritatively say that the Bible contains too many inaccuracies compared to the Quran.
That being said, religion has created too many problems in the world than we care to admit. Maybe we would have been better off worshiping God the way we deem fit than having so many religious groups complicating our lives. Even in Iceland, they are now going back to their old religion that they had abandoned for more than a millennium. Many Iceland citizens are worshipping Thors and Odin. What I noticed about Christianity is, many are losing interest in it. Even in US many churches are bought by muslims converted to mosques. Quran being accurate than Bible, yes you are right. Even Maurice Buccaile a french physician attested to it in his book. The bible, quran and science. |

I Stand with Governor Ize Iyamu Guy this your analysis is in incoherent. For example, in my polling unit where I presided on, 659 people were the registered voters only 237 were accredited and voted during election. Not everyone registered voters would vote. |

NextGovernor: Edo election was manipulated and rigged.
1. Sharing money openly and even issuing ticket without the fear of security operatives around and using security personnels to destroy and steal ballot box. What a tragedy.
2. 1st time result collation was prosponed to give way to perfect rigging.
3. Election observers, opposition party agents and Journalists driven away from collation center.
I think the best way to handle APC is the river and bayelsa do or die type of politics. Oshiomole and INEC used the quietness of we Edo people against us....
How can you go home happily that you have won election only to hear a different figure announced by INEC. It's a shame on the part of Buhari, INEC and Oshiomole who was the pioneer of one man one vote. Oga don't say what you don't know. I was a presiding officer in Ovia Northeast ward 2 unit 5. The election was free and fair. INEC gave we Corps members a mandate that we must not make mistakes. There shouldn't be inconclusive election. Many Edo people attested to it that the election was free and fair. |
