Imagine that the acclaimed program, Journalist Hangout, anchored by no less a person than Babajide Otitoju, was advertising for SGL Farms, during their Commercial breaks, would anyone have doubt that such adverts are genuine, moreso, it is an INVESTMENT IN FARMING, not importation, not Crypto Currency or some fancy stuff!

This is the first time I am commenting on SGL investment. Their advert on TVC made me invested in their company, but they have showed that they are fraudster giving silly excuses everytime. They should thank their stars that I am not in the country, I would have dragged them.

I’m about applying for Germany, I went to the embassy yesterday to certify my certificates but with this I am hearing here, I don’t think it’s worth it because I don’t want to come over there and be stranded.

The student jobs can take care of your basic need. It depends on the kind of contracts and company/agency you work with. Students earn more than €450 in a month.

I read on this thread someone said, houses are cheaper in East Germany. If I could be paying €245 Euro per month for a 3 room shared apartment in Magdeburg, Germany and I have colleagues paying €300 per month for rent. That is not cheap.
Secondly, do not believe all information here. I could remember, before going to OVGU Magdeburg. A lot of people said, there are no jobs.
In few days time, I will be signing a second contract with another job agency.

My advice is, ask those people living in the city of your destination questions about the current situation. Do not rely on old information.

I didn't get accommodation on campus. I was placed on an awaiting list, which I will still get in a few months' time. When I arrived in Magdeburg, I stayed with someone for 2 months(we were both sharing the bills) and I later got an apartment in the 3rd month. You might be lucky to get an apartment with the Studentenwerk early but also look for an alternative like staying with someone temporarily. If I may ask, have you applied for an apartment with Studentenwerk.

Please, search it is not easy to get accommodation here in Magdeburg. If you are lucky you might get from Studentenwerk fast, but most new students do rent private houses or stay in a temporary place.
