The marriageable age in Nigeria Constitution is not generally fixed, it varies in each state but we all know 18 is the well known marriageable age in most states.

In U.S some states marriageable age is 14 and above as long as there's consent involve while 18 is the legalized age for marriage.

You are right. A lot of people don't know this. In America, the age of consent in some states 14/15, a girl can start having sex at age 14/15, she can get married at that age also if her parents accept it. Not only in America but many parts of the world. A lot people need to read in Nigeria. Many educated-illiterate are on this platform (Nairaland).

Where are the yeye people that do abuse Northerners and Islam? If I should start abusing Christianity and Igbo people for this underage marriage, how would you feel. Don't mind most of our people, many Nigerians believed any country aside Nigeria is better than Nigeria. Even the ones in Neighboring countries would rubbish Nigeria. Filipinos are real hustlers, they are everywhere many Nigerians are better than them. During my Youth service I met one Filipino woman, she married a Nigerian, she depends on that man a lot. She was into petty trade in Nigeria. She was telling me about her country, how things are tough.She told me, Nigeria is far better than her country. She left Nigeria when I was about to finish my youth service.
Many Nigerians don't ask questions. A lady in my street came to meet me about Oman, I told her point blank, going to Oman is like going into slavery voluntarily. The day I read about how most Nigerian traveling agents connived with the Omanis just to bring in young Nigerian girls to do house keepers, I was in shock. Many travelling agencies in Nigeria are scam.
I do tell people, if i want to leave Nigeria for greener pasture it is either Germany or Scandinavian countries.

They no be Jew. Many guys for my side were arrested. Police had information about their meeting in Ikorodu. Even some of all these cultists knew police would come for them, but they believed they had charms. Some of them that escaped came back to give us information how everything went down. My neighbour that believes he has Juju wey carry Egede for head has been in the police cell since Saturday midnight they were arrested. My neighbour was arrestd too. He was crying like a baby when they called him on phone. When they warned him to shun cultism, he believed he was on top of the world.
