Phones › Re: Apple To Launch 3 Cheaper, Mid-range Smartphones by Gaddafithe2nd(m): 12:02pm On Jun 30, 2018
LordReed:
This is untrue. There have been several teardowns of iPhones to see how much the components cost and the price is usually between $150-$200, how does this justify a $600-$1000 price tag? IPhone X teardown deduced the parts cost less than $400 still $1000 is a significant markup.

Apple have succeeded in marketing their brand as premium quality and the price reflects it, the price does not reflect the real cost of the phone components.
Exactly, what I wanted to say. A lot of Nigerians don't know things about mobile phones. If many want to know about secrets about all these products, they should always watch Mobile phone summits in Barcelona. Iphones would be relegated behind Samsung and Xiaomi.

Rubbish! Scammer! Why only transport companies's buses? what about the private cars that got burnt?. Nigeria and relating everything with religion. What happened yesterday was carelessness on the part of the tanker driver and the govt not taking strict measures on heavy duty vehicles.
Some of my friends sent me the useless voice notes in the night. If not they they are my friends I would have cursed them for sending me voice notes

I KNEW it that u would refer to the penalty and u didn't disappoint,we can all agree that there has been so many controversial penalties and penalty denials in this ongoing WC and that was just one of them,if that subtle tackle can be a penalty then I think Senegal equally deserved a penalty against Colombia yesterday, compare it to Mandzukic penalty against King Kong and tell me who is more inexperienced,no player is immune to dribbles and u guys that dribbled Messi how many points did that fetch u,he was brought in at the beginning of the 2nd half and that's when things changed contrary to your he will do nada rants,if Rohr had made the right changes at the right time, the result might just have been different, only ignorant folks like u take everything Rohr says seriously,at least not anymore with present result.
Mr man, Ebuehi is there or not, we will still lose as long as we didn't take our chances, Ebuehi won't do anything in that match. Ignoramus like you will still blame Rohr for Ighalo and Ihenancho that were misfiring. You make me laugh. As if Ebuehi is the messiah of the team. If you know you aren't satisfied with Rohr you can take over his position.

Who cares whatever daddy in the sky u want to swear to,I guess u folks like to mention the word in the most petty things imaginable, all that matters here is the stats, compare the stats in the first half vs ISL to the second half and u will know he is damn defensive, the coach should have brought him in immediate after we scored the penalty if not for his pace at least to kill time, besides we obviously needed fresh legs cos fatigue was already setting in,I wouldn't blame anyone as it is what it is,but Ebeuehi would have sure made a lot if difference as well as a few other fresh legs in the last 25 mins of the match at least.
If you don't believe in God that is your problem, moreover God is not my daddy. Back to the issue ,he(Ebuehi) won't do anything, I repeat it. Messi and the likes will dribble his life, the same Ebuehi that caused the penalty against Iceland. Even before Ebuehi was introduced against Iceland, the gamed had already changed, our attackers were already having an attempt on goals not like the first half that was dry. Had it been Sigurdsson had scored the penalty that Ebuehi caused with his inexperience, you won't be making this comment. We always want to look for who to blame, Argentina dominated the game, we had our own chances that would have sealed the game and fire us to the next round. I repeat Ebuehi won't do nada. Rohr has said it all, he is young he needs more experience that is what would make him a better player.

Until they stop tankers and heavy trucks to stop moving in broad daylight, if not this kind of incident won't stop happening. A stringent law should be enacted.

Immediately I saw the line up vs ARG without Ebuehi in the pic then I instantly knew the Coach wasn't ready for a win in the game,we all saw how he changed the game when the moment he came on at the second half vs ISL,any sane coach would put that boy in the pitch at the start of the second half max, sometimes it baffles me, is Rohr shagging any of the average players(not to mention names) he keeps fielding after their poor results, I'm not a soccer guru or anything but that's just my humble opinion.
If he had started Ebuehi, I swear to God Argentina will score more than 2 goals, that guy is not good defensively. The coach knows better than us. Despite not using Ebuehi we had more chances, we should blame Ighalo and Ihenacho that never utilised their chances.
Sports › Re: Ebuehi, Other Players Unhappy With Rohr by Gaddafithe2nd(m): 9:18am On Jun 29, 2018
He should go and sit down. He should count himself lucky to have played a match. The coach has said it all. Let bygone be bygone

Nothing will happen to him as this is not the first case of this happening.

There are also christians who shielded Muslims during Jos crises.

The fulani gunmen are not Boko Haram, they're not religious fanatics. They were out for the blood of people who killed their cows and kinsmen, not christian blood, no matter how CAN and FFK wishes it were so.

Majority of bush-dwelling nomadic fulani worship no god.

Anyone touches them and their cows is fair game, whether christian or Muslim.
Exactly, I noticed this among the Fulani herdsmen in my area here, even when I went for NYSC, those guys would here the call to prayer they won't come to pray. I once asked one it is time to pray, he was just laughing that was when I knew most of these herdsmen don't have religion.

Muslims invaded a christian town and killed them in hundreds. This chap wants us to celebrate an Imam that perhaps preached the hate and ethnic supremacy that motivated the killers. Why did he not stop their mercenary killers from completing their assignment if he was truly guiltless. These people think they can continue to deceive Nigerians all the time.
What about Birom Christians that killed Muslims.? The ones that attack travelers just because they are Muslims. This won't be first time the fanatics from the two religions are attacking each other. The crisis in Plateau state is ethno-religious crisis.

Only people that understand and like history/international politics would find the topic interesting. Serbs caused the Balkan war, their hatred for Muslims and other ethnic groups in the formal Yugoslavian region caused this celeberation. Till today some Bosnians, Albanians and Serbs that were friends to non-Serbs can't enter Serbia. Congrats to Shaqiri and Xhaka for representing the origin of their ancestors.

it's a funny cycle. People are clamoring for the local league to be developed, but it won't develop if they have less people coming to watch the games. Nigerians would rather pay to watch European league matches unlike the south Americans that fully support their local leagues.
If things are put are in place; sponsorship, remuneration, security and good publicity. Nigerians would come out to watch match. I would also, want the government to reduce the number of foreign leagues that would be aired in Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Presidency Releases ‘checklist’ On Killings Under PDP by Gaddafithe2nd(m):
I have read many comments and I can see why an adage in Yoruba says; "You might be educated, but you might not have wisdom" that is exactly the way most of our youth are.

The killings happening in the middle-belt and in Nigeria has been happening for years. Instead of the past administrations should find a lasting solution to this menace, they keep fueling it, just because they gained from it. As at 1999 I could remembered all the killings that occurred in Nigeria. The issue in middle-belt is just pure hatred, where they don't tolerate one another. Why would you attack one another just because you are of different ethnic group/religion. I said it yesterday, the issue in plateau state and other part of Nigeria won't stop until will stop playing politics with religion and ethnicity.
This administration is looking for a way by improving on the security in Plateau state and talking to all the tribal leaders in that states. A former governor of Benue state is presently being questioned for sponsoring militias. You people won't say anything about it.

PDP should keep shut, we all know all the atrocities they committed during their tenure.

PDP is playing divide and conquer politics. They are actually the ones fanning the flames of ethnic bigotry In Nigeria and the Nigerian youths who are supposed to be intelligent are allowing themselves to be puppets on their strings.
Exactly! If the President could say that politicians are behind the killings he knows what he is saying. Many of our youths don't know how desperate some of how politicians are. Formal Governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswam is in the net of DSS because he sponsored militias in his state.

The truth is always bitter.
Those shouting that Buhari should resign now were deaf, dumb and blind those days that all this were going on..
PDP couldn't stop the killings in those areas, now they want Buhari to stop a menace that has been happening for more than 19 years. When OBJ finished Odi and Zaki Biam, none of his party members challenged him only few pressure groups talked about it.

I have said it time and time again.
The biggest problem of our country is with the youths, males and females alike.

Look at them!

Every person commenting on this thread is equally playing politics with the dead.

Even though Mr Adesina has clearly explained himself these fools are falling over themselves to make cheap political statements.

Why this cheap hypocrisy from this PDP?

What is the meaning of flags at half mast?

What is the meaning of always playing politics with deaths when they didn't fare better when they were in power?

PDP should let other parties or pressure groups talk and let them continue to bury their heads in shame forever.

Well they know how gullible and fickle Nigerian youths are so they can feel free to continue pulling the dumbness cards of these Nigerians on nairaland.

Question:

In 16 years of power when did the PDP ever fly flags at half mast despite the death of over 20,000 Nigerians.

If you cannot answer this question then whatever politics you are playing with dead Nigerians will visit your own very family.
I have been reading dumb comments until I stumbled on yours. You really made sense brother, the man clearly stated, that wanton killings has been going on before this administration. PDP should be ashamed of themselves after reducing this country to nadir.
