kudos to all those in the struggle. becoming a chartered accountant is not childs play at all. reminds me how i struggled too during my service year in 2010. the secret is never stop reading and never stop writing diet in, diet out. even when you fail, write again and again. thank God i qualified in 2015. i wish i can inspire others because i am just the ordinary type of guy, not the most intelligent but i read a lot and consistency paid off at the end. God bless you all and like they always say.....it is do-able |

The truck drivers i see on a daily in lagos don't look like dey knw wat nairaland is, how much more read this. Here in nigeria d causes are: iliteracy, smoking substances to shine eyes, too many small boys driving trucks due to lack of jobs. So dey drive trucks like sport cars, scrap trucks imported into d country nd no regulation on truck quality being used for haulage, den d almighty bad roads like dat of tincan/apapa axis. So op u see? Our case here in naija is peculiar |

D military must be loyal to d president C in C and if dat president is changed dey r loyal to d next C in C. If u sack dem for der loyalty to d previous govt den u r d one destroying nd politicising d military because loyalty is utmost nd paramount in a military set up |

above all i think we should all note that this man saw nigeria as one unit( a whole) and tried to spread projects across board rather than segregating us as we are seeing today. so OP i suggest u google jonathans achievements in general (NIGERIA) THAN just focusing on a particular region. Give that man his props, he tried his bit. yes he couldnt control widespread corruption under his nose but there again look beyond that he did well. |
I subscribed my usual 2k plan nd was surprised to see 6Gb. I thought it was due to the fact dat i auto renewed, now i knw. Wow nyce one from glo |
I remember wen i was little. On dis fateful day we were watching a movie on showtime movie channel wen one of those sudden hardcore scenes popped up. Usually d remote shld hav been by myside or wit my younger bro bt sadly it was on d centre table so we were helpless. Next tin my mom started shouting in benin "ehn ehn ehn ehn wat is dis" nd my dad was like " hehehe dey r really digging it" den mom was like " who put it in dis channel" i was like "its nosa" nosa said its me nd my mom banned us from watching movie channel from dat day onward. That started d era of sneaking to watch movies nd putting cnn on recall once we hear any footstep press recall to cnn nd cancel display lols |
KingZeus:what happeeeeen bro? |
Elite special forces are some of the best-trained and most formidable units a country can boast. They go where other troops fear to tread, scoping out potential threats, taking out strategic targets, and conducting daring rescue missions. These really are the best of the best. Though it's extremely difficult to rank these forces relative to one another, there are some units that rise above the rest in their track record and the fear they instill in their adversaries. These troops have been through rigorous training exercises designed to weed out those who can't hit their exacting standards. In a world in which the sheer size of a country's military is no longer the only guide to its effectiveness, these troops are the ones that states look to in order to get the job done. Note that there are some graphic images below that some readers may find disturbing. 8. The Special Services Group, SSG, in Pakistan is better known in the country as the "Black Storks" because of the commandos' unique headgear. Training reportedly includes a 36-mile march in 12 hours and a 5-mile run in 50 minutes in full gear In October 2009, SSG commandos stormed an office building and rescued 39 people taken hostage by suspected Taliban militants after an attack on the army's headquarters. 7. Spain's Unidad de Operaciones Especiales, or the Naval Special Warfare Force as it has become since 2009, has long been one of Europe's best-respected special forces. Originally established as the volunteer Amphibious Climbing Company unit in 1952, it has since followed the SAS' example to become an elite fighting force.Earning the UOE green beret, however, is a big ask, with the failure rate of candidates averaging 70% to 80%. It's not uncommon for 100% of would-be new recruits to be rejected.[img][/img] 6. Russia's Alpha Group is one of the best-known special forces units in the world. This elite antiterrorism unit was created by the KGB in 1974 and remains under its modern-day counterpart, the FSB[img][/img]Russian special forces, and the Alpha Group in particular, came under criticism during the 2002 Moscow hostage crisis in which 129 hostages died from the effects of the gas used to knock out militants who had seized a theatre.[img][/img] 5. Few of the world's counterterrorism forces can compete with France's National Gendarmerie Intervention Group, or GIGN. The group is 200 strong and trained specifically to respond to hostage situations. It claims to have freed more than 600 people since it was formed in 1973. It is against French law to publish pictures of its members' faces.[img][/img] One of the most extraordinary episodes in the GIGN's history was the seizure of the Grand Mosque in Mecca in 1979. Because of the prohibition on non-Muslims entering the holy city, a team of three GIGN commandos briefly converted to Islam before helping the Saudi armed forces plan the recapture of the mosque. 4. Israel's Sayeret Matkal is another of the world's most elite units. Its primary purpose is intelligence gathering, and it often operates deep behind enemy lines. During the selection camp (Gibbush), would-be recruits endure hardcore training exercises while being constantly monitored by doctors and psychologists. Only the strongest get in.In 2003, Israeli taxi driver Eliyahu Gurel was kidnapped after transporting four Palestinians to Jerusalem in his cab. But the Sayeret Matkal unit located and rescued him from a 10-meter pit in an abandoned factory in a suburb of Ramallah. 3.The British Special Air Service, known commonly as the SAS, is the infantry counterpart to the Special Boat Service. Their insignia bears the phrase "Who dares wins." Asked about the importance of the SAS' role in the fighting that followed the Iraq war, US Gen. Stanley McChrystal responded: "Essential. Could not have done it without them." 2. The UK equivalent of the Navy SEALS is the Special Boat Service. The selection process involves a grueling endurance test, jungle training in the rain forests of Belize, and combat survival training, which involves intense interrogation of candidates. And you get only two attempts to pass. 1. The US Navy SEALS might one-up even the Marines. To join their ranks, you have to be able to do a minimum of 42 push-ups in two minutes, 50 sit-ups in two minutes, and a 1.5-mile run in 11 minutes. And that's before training starts.

Neva tried those methods befre. Bt still get it cos dey always feel d niqqa no sweats |

ive stopped subscribing my DSTV since i dont hav light to watch tv for d past one week i hav nt set my eyes on electricity in my house in amuwo odofin for up to 1hr. maybe dey flash it wen im at work though i wouldnt knw bt dis is very very bad |
Totfulguy:help me tell dem ooo. befre d hike i fill my tank for 6k plus i.e 73 ltrs tank now i fill it for over 10k nd hw long will it last me in dis lagos traffic not to talk of generator cos light has been terrible lately. those dat wanna tell demselves d truth knws dat dis 145/ltr is wicked nd d average nigerian cannot cope. the earlier we support a reduction the better, no one is saying dey shld bring back d corrupt subsidy regime bt after removal of the subsidy it shldnt sell beyond 105 naira |
In as much as dis is laughable lets excuse dis guys a bit pls. Although dey shld hav rehearsed d drill well befre coming in public. Bt der again if u knw parade well u will knw der r some drills we dont do all d time nd its only human nature to forget. It happens to everybody even some folks in d military who dont hav opportunity to perform certain parade drills regularly tend to forget nd need refreshers to perfect dem again. So all dos taking abt nysc here unless u just passed out from camp last week im nt sure u will remember all dos caricature parade u did in a yr from now. So lets chill a bit d only wrong dis police guys did was not rehearsing thereby disgracing der force in public wit a show of shame |
The movement is slowly gathering momentum. But i cry at the dearth of activists in this country. After removal of subsidy pms shld sell for betwn 103 to 105. 145 is just outrageous |

I do it for fun
