I stood dumbfounded,staring at him for minutes.He asked me to sit and told me how closely he has been watching me for long. He said he wont punish me or tell my parents if i give up my bad life and cliq. Well,that was the start of our friendship. He was an Anglican Canon,married with no male child.He took me as his son and errand boy,even became friends with my Dad. He was the reason why i can read and comprehend,passed my WAEC,NECO&JAMB and got Uni admission.He was my mentor,friend,inspiration&spiritual director.He died just before my matric after a long battle with cancer.I still see him when i close my eyes I MISS U Ven.Canon Dennis. RIP
