I think its too late now. The embassy would definitely reject his Zenith account as i think they look at how regularly money has been entering the account for the past six months. And since he hasn't been banking with Zenith for a while, its gonna cost him.

GT bank, hmmmm I hate that bank also, I opened a dorm Acct, when I was depositing money into it, there was no problem, but when I wanted to withdraw plenty problem arise stating I need to bring another guarantor. Same time I opened a dorm Acct, I opened a savings account and filled atm form. For 2years being waiting to get my card I even tire to go the bank. After 2yrs The Acct became dormant and I decided I should go apply and reactivate the account since Ecobank is another foolish bank and the atm keeps disappointing me when I need it the most. After spending up to 1hr on queue, the stupid lady said my voters card won't work in reactivating my account and I can't apply for atm till I reactivate which I need international passport to reactivate. What if I don't have international passport? My opinion, Nigerian banks are all rubbish when compared to international counterparts. Customer care is Zero, most of their agents don't even know anything about services.
he has paid tuition, and all they need now is funds in his account and an atm card to show he can withdraw from the account when he travels. If he needs to attach bank statement, he can get a statement from spring bank and try explaining he needed a reliable bank that is why he wants to use zenith bank atm since both account carries same name.

Enterprise bank formerly spring bank. Very stupid bank, operated with them since 2006 up till 2012 and during this intervals, I had never had an atm card even if I had applied several times. will advice you to pull off your cash, go activate your zenith bank and at same time apply for atm, you get it 5 working days. Don't allow enterprise bank scatter your future o.

Due to the ongoing postal strike by the German Post, we strongly recommend sending your documents either as an "Express Brief" (this express service is not affected by the postal strike) or using another service provider that isn't affiliated with the German Post AG.
Please inform yourself regarding the strike and other available services at the post office of your home country.
We are advising applicants located in Berlin or the nearby surrounding area, as the case may be, to personally bring by their documents and drop them off at the uni-assist letterboxes, located at Reichartstraße 2, 10829 Berlin

I was about to inform the house about this. My documents got to Germany this morning delivered to a friend and when she went to send the different documents to the different schools I applied for, she was told regular post will take 10days instead of the usual 2 days minimum. She had to send it through express but it cost more, I think 24euro instead of the usual 1.5euro for normal delivery. Will advice anybody going to send docs during this period to make sure he/she confirms very well from customer care about the time it will take to get to Germany and the time it will take to get to the school. Or preferably ask for express delivery from naija here but might be a bit more expensive.

it is page 86 to be precise, I saw it and have read it but not extensively discussed. I am using a sponsorship letter and for me the next step is booking an appointment. I want to know if anybody has gone that far with the said later from uni-assist?

I was just going through uni- assist and here is what I found I quote, "Applicants may apply for a student visa via the German consular representation in their home country once uni-assist has informed them that their application has been forwarded to the university. This does not, however, legally entitle the applicant to a visa; a German university has to accept a student first before a visa can be issued".
Has anybody done this before, how did you go about it?

Hi,

i need the guru in the house to advise me before i proceed with my visa processes.

I got two admission letters. One of them (bsc in environmental and resource mangement) is from btu cottbus which is in brandenburg closer to berlin and the other one (beng in engineering physics(partly english and partly german as language of instruction) is from carl von ossietzky universitat oldenburg in the state of lower saxony which is coser to bremen.
I have a background in mechanical engineering (hnd). I prefer the second school and course becos of its specialty in renewable energy but my challenge now is my chance of graduating with good grades and in good time studying the rest of engineering physics with partly german even though i have been learning german language online.

I need your advice in terms of economic survival, lucrativeness of both courses in germany and my chances of graduation in due time.

Hello, am also applying to same course as you, oldenburg and btu, in fact I just sent my documents today through DHL. Oldenburg, after submitting documents online, did you also send to them via post before getting the admission and how long did it take for your admission to be out? Secondly, how long did btu admission take also. I was able to send only my HND transcript without the ND, do u think it's gonna be enough, did you send both of yours?

Mind u, I'm talking abt "international studies of shipping and chattering. Not nautical science and marine engineer. And which place did u check for their requirement other than the school site?

it seems you didn't do your research well or I didn't ask if you got a German proficiency certificate. The only international undergraduate course taught fully in english in the maritime sector in bremen uni is ship management. Shipping and chatter, you need German knowledge cause the course is taught in German and partly English. I use daad.de/en to shuffle courses, schools and requirements.

did you check the requirements at all? You need a mechanic certificate of ship repair or 6months sea experience or a contract with a shipping coy

well I am also applying to that same course. If u check out the requirement, you will see you need at least HND or 1 year university transcript. Mechanic certificate or 6month sea training or internship contract with a shipping company. First and foremost, your diploma can't get you admitted but if you meet all other requirements, you can apply with ur diploma transcript +secondary school certificate + prove of English proficiency and mechanic certificate or 6 month training on sea or internship contract with a shipping coy. There is no harm in trying if you meet other criteria but don't put all hopes.

Is there anybody sending documents by nextweek, I can help that person to help myself share cost. We put our documents together, send via the fastest and most reliable courier service to my contact in Germany. Once she gets it, she dispatch it to the different schools immediately with (2 days delivery within germany). This is for people sending to more than 1 school and you all know there is less than 20 days to deadline for WS.

. well apart from ur transportation, roughly 100k should be enough for a couple spending minimum of three days. there are private hotels for as low as 10 and 5k.. food at these hotel goes for 600 to 900 a plate. unless u want to stay at d protea hotel..cheapest room is 20k

Pls I need urgent advice, I am actually good at a little mechanical work cos I attended a 6months course on auto. As such, I do most of my mechanical work that I can handle. I have not attempted touching my wheels before cos I give to competent hand(reason, I feel d wheels are the most important thing). The tie rod was changed 3 months back and now I am noticing a ka ka sound when turning. Could it be the new tie rod is damaged? If yes, when I loose it myself, where can I fix it in lagos(around egbeda and environs).
And secondly my ac turns on and sometimes it doesn't pick immediately , what could be wrong?
