Thanks to all that has being helping me look for a solution. I got a mail this morning from DB after much disturbance. I have an address in germany I usually use as a corresponding address and I think they want current address. They ask me to send it to them in their mail but I really don't understand their statement. This is part of the mail

"We regret your account cannot be opened because your current home address has not been included.
Please provide your home address format "street with house no., postal/zip code city, optionally additional address lines (e.g. c/o), country".

In direct response to our request we will process your order for further processing as soon as possible.
Our automatic reply does not apply in your particular case".
I don't even know which mail address they want me to send to. English pple Abeg help me

I have been in your shoe before.. I Will advice you do another application for the account and resend to them. Send to the Hamburg address.. I would have said be patient but there is no time.

if I reopen while the previous is still being worked on, don't you think it will affect me? 2 application for one account.

You are supposed to have gotten your account details from DB since 28th of July. Mine stayed 3 weeks and 3 days before DB sent it. Check your spam mail to see if the message was delivered there. When is ur interview and enrolment deadline?

done with interview, deadline is October 10

Have u filled the contact us form on the bank site ?if not plz do and let than have ur details.so they can trace your file.

They have thousands of people from around the world sending them applications daily so human error might make them omit some. or if u have anyone one in German already u can have them visit any of Bank branch and lay complain with your details . I think they will have 2 trace your file and treat ASAP

I have filled 2 contact forms on 2 different occasions since 2weeks and lastweek respectively.sending someone to Contact them in germany will be my best option.danke

I am getting really impatient. Opened blocked account since 28 July up till now no account details. Embassy said they can't help me and the bank are not replying me. Anybody don wear this shoe before? How was it resolved cause am out of ideas

Deutch bank dulling me. Opened blocked account since 28 of July, up till now I no get account number. I mailed db student service 2 days back, I never still get any reply. Embassy reminded me to fund. How can I go about this db stuff? Who has called them on phone before? Maybe that is my next option

One step at a time....you need to get the clerk or whoever were directly involved. Did you take a picture of the person?....or her name? ...or if you can ID the person then you can take action. You need to make a report to the manager.....and if possible secretly record what he says. Then you make a report to the Postmaster. ...the one who is in charge of all the Post Offices in Lagos or wherever you are. Let hom know you need to see action....the clerk fired and charges laid against her...that you are only giving him a chance to do the right thinh....or the matter would be going all the way to the top......the very top. He would get the message.....then you can see your barrister or make a report to the police. Do not do nothing . ...believing it is a waste of time....each manager would be afraid of pressure from the top and the question...were you told of the matter?...and what action did you take to correct it? ...a question they would be able to answer and depending on the power of the person....action can be taken against them. Report to the police?...yes....most likely most of them suffered at the hands of such clerk and would use your report as a means to get back at them. Don't ever expect the corrupt workers to have a heart and do the right thing on their own...customers must take action.

thank you very much for the suggestion. I called NIPOST Adminstrative office this morning and I think they are all covering for each other. I plan to go to the custom office where they claim the charges where given. When I find out it is not from custom and the receipt was forged, I will go to the nipost office with police men to pick up all the lady. I sent my clearing agent to negiotate on my behalf and they actually reduce it to 20k that is to show something is fishing.

they are all involve in this scam. I don't want just a barrister to solve my issue but I want to stop the corruption in that NIPOST.

Hello everyone, I need help on this issue. My fiancee sent her wedding gown from Germany( dutche post) to Nigeria(NIPOST). This morning I called the customer care and I was given a location to go pick it up. 1hour after that a woman called me to come pick it up but that I have a custom charge of about 29,000 naira to pay. I shouted and insulted her that even the amount they use to send it from abroad is not up to that. Immediately I went there and they insisted I most pay. I requested for a document to show the charges. She brought out a paper and what I observed, the paper was tampered with in their office. The good was sent as personal goods which doesn't attract custom charge so she was told in germany. The woman is feeling like God and I really want to show her, she can't do fraud and still wait for me to be begging her. Pls anybody with ideas on who to report the case to. Attach is the receipt she showed me and I took pictures of it. If you carefully look at it, the blue pen is what it came with originally and am to pay 2100 for delivery. The rest amount is different and was written with a red pen. Pls who can I report to, and am I suppose to pay custom duty for personal goods?

Formally I use to see people asking if it's possible for someone from the UK or US to give a sponsorship letter. Well I met someone whose brother used a sponsorship letter from a aunt working in the US ( nurse) in 2009 and he is using the same letter now to apply for his own. So I think there is a possibility, but I will still keep in touch with the guy to know if it works so I can update the house.

Sorry guys I was really tired to update the house about the latest at the embassy after my interview today. I will start by advising guys to always close their ears to all those touts outside. The guy who photocopied my docs made a mistake to photocopy the back of my block Acct slip instead of the front, and I got to find out really late last night. So I had to photocopy outside the embassy. When the guy saw my form, I attached my photo to one of the forms and the guy quickly said it's wrong that I need to photocopy that same page with my passport to get get the other application form. To me he made sense and I did it. He started saying I the passport data page is suppose to be coloured and I said don't worry I will give them black and white. Those guys are out there to make people confuse and do rubbish.
I got to the gate at about 6.15 and I quickly observed there are no much people compare to when I went for my block account. I joined the queue and our man consulate 1 was already shouting at people who couldn't follow simple instructions. At that time, I realized everybody today were there for student visa.
There were at least 25 people from my count. Our cash and documents collected one after the other. 4 different people to attend to us and our german madam wasn't among them. 3 black ladies and a gentleman, my interview, same questions as we all know but one of the other counter asked "why was germany seperated before 1990". Pls I was asked to name my courses according to the semesters. I think I flopped here cause I know all courses without separating them according to semesters. So I just missed them randomly.
So know your modulus according to each semester.
If you are here, count yourself lucky. A Lot of guys don't even know anything about the country they are planning to go study in. Some don't even know about the city and there came for interview. Wish all those yet to go for their interview luck. Danke schon.

yeah hoschule bremen of applied science and winter. Application was thru uni assist so am expecting the admission tomorrow or nextweek latest but my interview is nextweek. I don't always want to answer that question "where are you serving" because naija is outta my head already. So ask that question from November and I will gladly answer you. Danke schon

best suggestion by dolpas. I did same when i was sending to uni asist. Shared cost with someone here and sent it to somebody over there who later dispatched it to various schools.

Since there is enough time why not use NIPOST. Just register d mail and send it to the schools that are not under uni-assist, cost is about 600naira or so.

nipost kei, I am beginning to doubt NIPOST. Since July 21 my documents never still reach germany till date. In fact I used NIPOST at the international airport. I tracked on nipost website it still says received in exchange office since 22 of July.

Oh, now I feel like crying. I need to say am sorry to her before I sleep

while submitting ur age declaration document at the embassy, were you told to attach a covering letter from National Population Commission?

it is either declaration of age or NPC birth cert. No need for any covering letter.

I may be wrong here but I believe it is always the safer option to understand requirements properly.

The checklist clearly states what can be submitted to satisfy the "Age" criteria.

Birth Certificate from National Population Commission or Declaration of Age deposed to by head of Family

So, this clearly shows that the birth certificate from the hospital of birth isn't an option and also that a self-sworn affidavit of age is unacceptable.

The declaration of age is to be drafted as if it was sworn by the head of one's family (Father or Mother) and possibly attach their passport photograph to it.

All the steps you listed should apply also for this purpose as I got the 250 naira receipt though I paid the guy 1k to arrange it for me as I couldn't wait. I just explained all to him and came back hours later to pick it up and pay the dude his 1k.

I intend using it to get a certificate from NPC, so I can have it once. If you read what I posted, I said you can edit it because the business centre has a lot of format to suit once need.

my own passport. I have a birth certificate from the hospital I was born which I have being using but due to what the embassy wants, so I told them to write it is jst a declaration that my birth certificate is true cause I will attach my real birth cert to the declaration.
You can declare your birth cert is lost cause that is what I saw when the guy was editing mine.

Well let me share a secret with my fellow Germo brothers and sisters. I was at the ikeja high court today for my declaration of age. You don't necessary need to give those tout money to help you because from my research you don't get a receipt. Since this thread is helping us to DIY without any agent, I will say how I did mine on my own without any agent both notorization and affidavit. when I drove in, the security asked what am there for and he sent somebody after me. The lady refuse 250/ page so I dropped from the car and scope one of the guard to show me where they do it. Went there and met the public notary there (Akwa Ibom man) and brought up a conversation and started discussing how I enjoyed Akwa Ibom during my school days finally did 10 pages for 1,500. The next time I went, did 5 copies for 1000.
Today I decided to just pass by and do the declaration of age. Drove in again and they rushed and the man was saying 1500. I just laugh and dropped to take passport photo cause one is required. While snapping I scoped the photographer and he showed me the entire process. If you can even type and print the blank form and bring it along, it will do you good but if not, go to the shops at the police station ) opposite the high Court) and print out for 150 naira and walk back into the high Court and ask for registry in front of all those brt buses. Inside the big office at the stage, they will write a receipt for you and stamp(250 naira, hold change o or else). Then you go to a commission in same office opposite the stage. There are up to 10( pick your choice and it's free). With this process, you have the legit declaration. From what I saw, those commissioners can still notorised your academic documents for little change. Gute nacht
