Guys, pls I need schools not under uni-assist that I can send application to and only schools that accept letters from minstry of education or higher institutions as prove of proficiency in English. I applied 2 schools under uni assist and don't want to put all my hope on just 2. Maritime courses if possible, but I don't mind other courses that is less competitive. Or any school I can apply for masters with HND. |

Hello everyone, I need to borrow you guys brain because am running out of ideas. My transcript is delaying as the rector of my school is not on sit to sign. I once saw on this thread somebody said he/ she got admitted by uploading documents online Abi by just filling the online application( can't remember the exact). Then the documents can be sent later for verification. Pls I need such schools. Just thinking time is going and probably when I will get the transcript deadline will really be close. I don't need anybody to tell me and lazy because I have searched all the schools on daad.de. am applying for bsc with my HND. Don't wana gamble with my sponsorship letter. |

rukkyng:you don't need to prepare, your not writing any exams. As a Cadet then, I didn't even go to classes and I got my stcw. It's just a training on basic things you need to know while onboard any vessel. Emergencies onboard, personal survival, incase of fire etc. |

I parked my Honda accord 2001 for some time and I noticed it's like my injector Is dirty and the rpm use to go up and down anytime I on the ac and on normal idle speed. Today I was free and decided to clean the injector myself. When cleaning the injector, I noticed the last time I gave one of those road side mechanic to do it for me, they gum a paper to cover the inlet inbtw the injector and idle speed valve so I remove the paper. After cleaning, the normal RPM is at 1000rpm, everything done to reduce it to 500 prove abortive. Could it be that because I remove the paper? Or I didn't clean the idle speed valve? What could be wrong? I need help. |

Depends on your location. Oron Akwa Ibom State u can get stcw, in fact u get all u need there. But there are other maritime schools you do it in lagos but I don't know except I ask for u |

ashcall:well, I have tot of this idea in the past but I realized I need a lot of capital to make substantial profit in it. Leasing a filling station always depends on numbers of pump and structure available. It is also open to negiotation with owner. Any business that requires buying and selling requires a lot of research. Yesterday I was at mile 12 market and was shocked to find out that a bag of onion is even more cheaper in lagos than from the source. I noticed there are a lot of onion from Lastweek everywhere in the market. A Lot of people did wrong calculations, bought a lot before the gubernatorial and couldn't sell because of the state of the nation. My point, always make your research before trading at every point before you burn your fingers. Peace 3 Likes |

My adventurous journey to aleiro onion market in kebbi state.... I actually base in lagos but grew up in kd. I was on break so I decided to visit my family in kaduna so this post made me have a second tot about this biz even if I had it in mind for a very long time but couldn't venture cause I procrastinate a lot and I think I have killed that procrastination. I woke up one morning thinking is this how am going back to lagos without any other means of income? I said no to my self and I picked my phone and called some of my course mate who are from kebbi state. Fortunately, one of my junior cadet is currently based in aleiro working in the university exactly where the onion is sold. The next morning, I booked a bus to kebbi, was a long journey of about 8 hours from kaduna. I was complaining of the weather in kaduna not knowing there are places that the weather can cook yam without fire. The breeze blowing was like I was bathing with boiled water. I got to kebbi at about 4pm, and from kebbi to jega about 30 mins and from jega to aleiro about 15mins. Did a market survey and left to sokoto where I slept. I had in mind to visit the onion market in sokoto to see things for myself especially the storage facilities but I realized if I don't leave sokoto in the morning, I can't make it back to lagos tomorrow. I use to hear the north is blessed but I didn't know fully well how blessed we are in the north but I think I now understand. I saw a full water melon for 100 naira which I use to buy in kaduna for 200 and lagos for 500, pepper of different varieties. Thanks catered4 for the post cause it inspired me and I can also help answer questions to the best of my knowledge and what I have seen . Here are some pictures I took but it was a bit dark cause I was only able to charge at about 7pm lastnite. 3 Likes
