Jidefadeyi: Hello bros. My mechanic used oando dex ii for my 2003 mdx. It selected all gears initially but later restricted to gear 2 with delayed shifts. Its not also bringing up any transmission error code according to him. Any idea on the cause sir?

Recommended engine oil is 5w20. Don't touch the gear oil yet. I will suggest you leave the power steering fluid too but you can refer to the owners manual for the recommended fluid.

Everything is wrong with it because it is not the manufacturer recommended oil but if that is what has been in use before, just stick to it.

oladipuposadeeq: as for me, civic is way ahead of Hyundai elantra and when it comes to travelling and using it within the city, you will enjoy it very well if its bought as Toks and also remember to check the VIN history also. I delivered one to client in akwa ibom few years ago and he hasn't called me up till date that the car is giving him headache though i am the one that sends engine oil and oil filter every 3 months.

If you want to go for a BMW, stick with any 4 cylinder engine and also avoid 4 wheel drive because maintenance is higher. Another thing with 3 series is that it does not have enough leg room for those seated at the back.

As a first time owner I will suggest you go for the CIVIC. It's more economical and would serve you well.

When its in motion also, i also notice it drags while changing gear. It was serviced recently and the gear oil changed with the attached.
My mechanic says might be the fuel pump or nozzle.
