Sincere 9gerian: Achebe lived a very fruitful and fulfilled life, and died at old age. I am particularly pleased that he completed his latest book before exiting this world. I had already paid tribute to him on another thread.

Meanwhile, I also derive happiness from creating this sort of thread. The happiness help to ameliorate the sadness of the loss of Achebe.
