Politics › Re: Sagay: APC Leadership Deserves Blame On Bayelsa Governorship Conundrum by Gandollaar(f): 2:30pm On Feb 17, 2020 |
chocolatelady: Supreme court judges now are really setting a bad precedence by turning to electorates and declaring the losers winner. This is bad for Christ sake. I thought they said that the mandate belong to a party and not an individual. Why are they contradicting themselves with their recent judgement? If really that the mandate belongs to the party, why cant they allow Lyon to choose another person, nullify the election and order for a fresh election ?Its very painful that the electorates that voted the candidate were not remembered in their judgement. This is an election who governs a state and not any sport that some people are talking about now. U cannot compare election with sports. Its high time a team of 5judges sit down in their office and void the peoples mandate based on technicalities. Justice is denied and not served especially in Zamfara and Bayelsa State. Oshomiole equally has to be blamed for this and for me its better he resigned his position. This Bayelsa is one mistake too many. I am with Sagay on this . Supreme court judges should stop changing the will of d people becos people will now say that their votes will not count since supreme court will overturn their candidate. Oga the matter was a pre-election matter. Lower courts have ruled on this already but the man decided to keep pursuing his case upto supreme Court. What's your position on the Imo case? |

He noted that the responsibility of the Federal government is to make sure that no foreign element comes from outside the country to infiltrate and cause mayhem by way of violent community clashes we have been ..
Ok so Mr Ita Enang, has the above happened?
What we have seen is an increased influx of fulani antagonists from all over the Sahel and beyond flooding into the country and king residency in the thick forests from where they have been launching their jihadist agenda while buhari looks on. |
Politics › Re: Against Secession : A Testament To Yoruba Leaders And The Promoters Of Oduduwa by Gandollaar(f): 7:51am On Feb 17, 2020 |
Legendhero often boasts about the Yoruba conquests in war in the olden days. Now another yoruba man is saying that even the conquests were against fellow Yorubas and so nothing to brag about a yoruba god killing it's own children.
However, I'm ashamed that the writer of this peace is a professor. The points he raised in his own defense are at most base and banal.
Even if secession isn't the best option considering the numerous intricacies involved, the writer failed to prove that his Yoruba nation's interest was best served in one indivisible Nigeria. |

Arrewa: The new generation of Hausafulani I stopped reading when you made it an Igbo affair. There's nothing like hausa-fulani. It's all in the scheme for the homeless fulanis looking for Nigerian identity. Hausa is different. Now you deny your nigerien brothers? Fvck! A typical fulani would favor a nigerien over someone from Kwara state. It's not news that northern Nigeria remains the poorest and backward, it's not about to change in the next century. |

Quite a revelation. Anything pdp says about security should then be ignored because it is just politcs, not as if they are actually concerned. What goes around comes around. |
Politics › Re: Bandits Kill 30, Burn Houses, Animals In Two Katsina Villages by Gandollaar(f): 9:48am On Feb 16, 2020 |
festacman: Why haven't DSS undercover agents infiltrated these heartless bandits to cut off their roots? In essence, part of the reasons why Nigeria is struggling against Boko Haram, banditry and other security threats is due to lack of effective intelligence gathering about the perpetrators and their operations, command and control structure, locations, movements and strategies. The situation is so bad that Boko haram seems to have better intelligence about our troop movement than we do about theirs.
The security threats of today in our country have shown that intelligence gathering will determine the success of national security measures. Therefore, the way forward here is for Federal Government to, as matter of URGENCY, strengthen and make effective the intelligence gathering machinery of DSS, NIA, the military and the police. DSS should be less visible in arrests and law enforcement but more discreetly effective in acts of undercovering, infiltration and data interception, etc. We should also bring back the good old days of Police CID personnel that operated as undercovers among the locals.
In other climes, the hieracrchy and operations of organizations like Boko haram and IPOB would have been long been infiltrated by now. Hahahaha..why do you need to infiltrate Ipob? Is it not staring you in the face? Lumping Ipob and Boko Haram in one sentence is senseless. |
