Horowitz notes it's reasonable for people to look at the 17 errors against Page as merely gross incompetence and not obvious bias.

My opinion: I find it hard to believe FBI made 17 'Errors' and all the 'Errors' went one way--against Page/Trump. I've read of many many MANY dozens of "mistakes" by FBI/DOJ officials and every single one of them was in a direction harmful to Trump. What are the odds?

After watching the hearing, I think the IG made his case very well. he explained that the laws set a LOW THRESHOLD the FBI needs to meet before launching a counter intelligence probe and they met it and opened the probe lawfully but they now chose to conduct the investigation in a very wrong way. The FBI received a tip from the Australians the Trump campaign might be colluding with the Russians and they correctly opened a probe but they needed a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign and they had nothing to present to the FISA court to get the warrant so they decided to use the Steele dossier which they knew was false information to deceive the FISA court and get the warrant
