Good morning,
I am having issues with my camry 07 transmission. Three days ago the Shaft and cup was replaced

After the replace ment was done the gear started slipping and at a point stopped moving and when I put it on reverse it makes a loud noise but reverse works.

Scanned the car and it showed P0776 code.

Plz advice or gear specialist is needed.

Same happened to mine and was able to fix it in Mechanic Village around Ladipo/charity oshodi (it's after the army resettlement camp). Though the guy said it has not affected the gear that it was just switches which he fixed in about 3-5days.

Was the car allow to cool for 24hrs before changing the inner cup? If not your gear is goonnnee. The Kazeem mechanic Isa Olodo(illiterate)

I got to the guys workshop around 8am and it changed it till 3pm. The thing is the car moves well but slow in changing to the next gear as it will rev before changing to the next level.

Can someone help me with @kashif contact details (phone number or address)? I need his help like I need air to continue living.

Abeg I have similar problem with my Camry transmission. It is moving but will rev while trying to change to the next gear. It started when I changed the inner shaft cup of the driver side on Saturday.
What do I do? I'm in a confused state now.

@kashif, please I need your help on this. Saw a post where you assisted someone on similar issue I'm having with my car.
I changed the inner shaft cup on the driver side on Saturday, only for the car not to change gear properly as it was revving.
Note, I called the mechanic to come look at it which he did on Sunday with a gear expert(according to him) and the gear expert said the gear is still good that it's electrical and I asked them to go with it on Sunday and sort out that I will pick it up yesterday (Monday). I did pick it up yesterday, and it was changing normally only for the car rpm to drop/increase a little when trying to change to next gear.
Please what do I do? Help a brother abegggggg

Not that I intentionally want to buy a tokunbo pads (infact I don't subscribe to used pad, shocks,linkage etc) but the problem is the unwanted noise that emanate from new brake pads.

Moreso, I vehemently refused to convert it without consulting my peeps here first for better advice.

As you have all advice that I shouldn't convert the brake system, I will not and manage the unwanted noise like that.

I really need someone in the house to educate me on this. I was in ladipo today to do some maintenance on my car and alsso change my brake pad, but my mechanics advice I go for tokunnbo pads that it's better than most new ones as they are fake and produce some unwanted noise once they are hot/entered water.
Unfortunately, they couldn't get the pad for my 2009 camry that it's scarce n not easy to come by, hence the Igbo guy(trusted part seller) suggested I convert it to 2.4 camry brake pad and disk as that is easy to get.
My question now is:
1. Can it be converted?
2. Won't there a problem/issue later on the braking system?
3. Which camry is 2.4?
Please I need an expert opinion to enable me make an inform decision.

The tires are brand new(all four) and I'm using the manufacturer specification.

I discovered recently that if I'm on some tarred road I won't hear the noise again, while on some tarred road it will sound as if I'm driving on interlocking roads. While the sound on some interlocking roads are extremely high and some remains the same.

I'm really confused, reason why I'm looking for where I can do sound proof for the car.

@truth,thanks for your response. I use mobil xhp and my hub has been checked too. The tires are the specified tires as indicated on the door panel.

I seriously need help in sound proofing my car. The issue is that the road noise that comes back into my car while driving is very unbearable.

Please note that, every necessary checks on the car have been duly carried out from changing my Hub, to checking the tires, doing wheel balancing and alignment etc. But it's giving me the unwanted noise emanating from the road.

The car is an automatic transmission and in a very good condition, comes with a 6CD loader, factory fitted AC, 17inches Toyota Alloy Rim. I Only used it to the office(on the island) and back home(mainland).

Current mileage is 61540.

Buyer will enjoy it as nothing has been done on the engine except for the normal change of oil. Though buyer might need to re-touch the body paint due to few scratches, no work has been done on the body.

Ok, You may need to re-jailbreak. I don't know if the New Redsn0w will do for iOS 3.x.x because I learn the system key to all previous ipsw has been updated into it.
Let me do some search, I will get back to you.

1. First make sure there is working Internet connection on your iPad:
2. Open your Cydia, allow Cydia to load and set-up all your file system.
3. When Cydia finished loading, check if u see any red-badge signifying a needed update. Try to update by clicking on it
4. Then allow the Cydia to self-reload.
5. Look below your Cydia Home page, you will see your device name, your iOS version and the current Cydia version.
If Cydia version is less than version 1.1.1 (as at of today 17th Nov 2011), then Cydia need to updated.
If so, Exit Cydia, wait about 8sec, then re-open Cydia. Allow Cydia to self-reload then follow step 3 down to Step 5 again until your Cydia version shows 1.1.1

Anyway, there maybe another way, but this is how I always update Cydia whenever I jailbreak iOS4.1 and below using Limera1n. Anyone, with other method can share it, we all learn daily.

@Soft Touch, Thanks a bunch. But the problem with my Cydia is that it only shows a white icon and if i press it to open it only come up and less than 1-2 second goes off (Can't really access the cydia), what do i do?

Have RESTARTED the iPad after seeing the white Cydia?, try and restart, then update your Cydia files, cos Limera1n that Jailbreak iPad 3.2.2 will always install previous version of Cydia.

since u av used limera1n once on d ipad, why did u say it didnt work? is it because u didnt see cydia? or u saw cydia but its white? or , what exactly is d problem?
as per d ipod, what ios was on it before u used limerain cos every ios has its own jailbreak tool.

@tumababa, Limera1n installed Cydia but it's white; and if i click on the white cydia it won't work (what do i do)?
As for the Ipod touch, the ios on is 4.3 or there about not sure again self, but i know it is 4.something (what i can do to even restore it back)?

Can anyone tell me how best to jailbreak my Ipad 1 (it's an ios3.2.2). I have used Limera1n but the stuff didn't really work for my Ipad, Can anyone help me out or show me how to jailbreak the Ipad?

Also, i used i(limera1n)t for my Ipod touch but it froze my ipod on the apple logo and all effort to restore didn't work as it is giving me error code "9006". Can someone tell me what the error code stand for and how i can restore the Ipod?

Will really appreciate anyone's help,
