I have a code P0741 on my Toyota Matrix, seeking possible solutions because I have this weird experience esp using the dipstick when the engine is cold the oil is lower on the cool bar on the stick when the engine is hot is way above the hot mark point on the dipstick. Torn between adding more oil or not, had the code and I had the oil changed and the underpan removed and filter changed. After using one 4 litre can still confused on if to add some more or not. Please help

My Honda City 2005 model, Manual transmission shows this sign on the dashboard that indicate that there is no water in the radiator whenever i start the engine. After about 2 or 3 minutes, it will go off. Note; water is always in my radiator. Is it anything to worry about.

The warning lamp is an indication of vehicle temp at very low thresholds (below 60degs Celsius) you should not be worried about it. The light is usually green.

What you should be afraid of is the red warning , that one only appears after the engine has overheated.

The Honda city of that year did not come with a temp gauge

I noticed that each time I use the wipers, AC and maybe headlamps, the battery icon lights up and the power steering stops working until I switch off the AC. What could be wrong? Vehicle is a 2005 Corolla.

I believe it must be a material able to withstand some level of heat.

My brother, if carbon wants to deposit in engine, I ll leave it to deposit. It is more important to ensure there is life to buy another car/engine without carbon deposit. My 120km/hr max is super. I may even buy speed limiter is devil wants to tempt me.

My mechanic advised me to raise the suspension on my camry 2009. The car is low and due to roads I often scrape the bottom. I was wary of it but it was done. Now when I am driving it just doesn’t give me that balance and I fear it’s a terrible mistake. Please advise how i can correct this.

Meanwhile guys, here's my challenge. So my car engine got too bad about last month and I opted for changing it as against "ringing". Finally gathered the money to buy it this week.

However, one of my major challenges then apart from the 'usual' oil shortening, smoking and noise it was making was that if the car is parked anything more than 30minutes, I can't just start the car and drive away immediately. Once I start the car, it starts JERKING slightly after about 30seconds, then after like 5minutes it 'BALANCES' then I can drive away. If I try loading before the 5minutes elapses or before it balances, the car goes off and then I start the process again.

The thing is, I thought if the engine is changed the issue would be resolved but I thought wrong. The issue still persists, minus the noise and smoking. They tried scanning but the codes coming were P0016 , 0300, 0310 (can't remember exactly).

Please if there's anyone with experience handling this, kindly assist.

Sorry it's MAP sensor attached to d engine body, he disconnected it and d misfire and rough idle stopped, when he connected it back it started again. It's MAP not MAF

P0172 I think it's one of the codes

Good day all..my car started leaking transmission fluid terribly, it's so serious and the leak starts fully majorly when the engine is hot...

Mechanic said leak is from torque converter seal and the engine and gear needs to come down for them to fix...

Any guarantee on this pls...

GAZZUZ Sir, we noticed that my 2010 Highlander with 2.7L engine is shortening oil. I did the first service about 3 months ago using Mobil 5w 20 extended performance. That was the first service since purchase from Dubai. I drove it for about 2 months before this service and there was no shortage of oil all through.
No smoke, no strange sound.
I bought it and ran a scan on it before I shipped it to Nigeria myself, no issues.
Pls sir, what do you advice?
