This is a port injected engine and not a direct injected one, so the intake valves will always be clean, as it receives a steady rinse from the injectors ( nozzles)

If it was a GDI engine, then seeing carbon buildup at the intake valve will not be a surprise.

But i think this engine uses bucket shims in which any adjustment would require the replacement of the shim (unlike Honda K24 engines). Do you mean that it required the inspection and replacement of all 24 valve shims at specific mileages?

Btw this engine was fist introduced in 2006.

The worst has happened.Simon & Uzochukwu Egbogu, from Obodo-Okwe in Ikenga Ogidi in idemili North L. G.A of Anambra state have been killed by gas explosion. According to report, the duo are victims of gas tank explosion belonging to Dangote cement.The leaking tank was brought to their workshop for repair.

The driver had told them that the tank was empty but it has some left over gas inside.The driver was said to have lied to them because he was in a haste.During the process of welding the tank,it exploded and killed the two.Their corpses have been deposited at a mortuary in Gboko, Benue State.

Please I noticed my car no longer cranks before starting, when I twist ignition to start, it will just start without making that normal ssh shi shi sound,. It just silently start,. Plz I'm getting scared

This is typical case of a back fire. This went straight back to the engine hence the occurrence of this. I once dealt with this. Exhaust becomes red as hell fire after 6secs of starting the vehicle. This might be an exception but it's a back fire. Pele sir

I changed technician and all the above-mentioned problems have been solved. There was actually a leak.
no more overheating, no more loss of power and no more jerking. However, another problem don show. Engine now vibrates when AC is on. Without AC, it runs smoothly. Abeg, wetin be this again? I'm tired

Sorry to disturb sir I’m just curious if the sensor is faulty can it cause the gear to get stuck in a particular gear? The car selects to reverse well it’s just stuck on gear 2 if accelerating.... thanks

Good afternoon Mr Gazzuzz, I have a Nissan Sentra which have been using for two years now no issue but recently I noticed that the gear is locked up in a particular gear doesn’t enter gear 3&4(is an auto transmission)... so I decided to scan the car and they gave me a code of p1588 G-sensor... a mechanic said it’s the gear sensor and he said I should replace it but I want to be sure on what to do I haven’t heard any issue with the car before that’s y I’m trying to be more careful on the repair... please what’s is the possible fix to this issue...
