I have changed the gear oi but the problem still persists.

My mechanic is clueless to what the problem could be.

I took someone from Lekki phase 1 to the airport, trip was calculated as ₦1200, I informed rider and he gave me ₦3,000 but the fare should still have been more than that because toll alone was ₦500. How does it work is it the ₦3,000 they just added or what cos I still expect that I'm still owed.

Drivers want hire purchase so they can get what their limited financial power cannot get. It does not favor the car owner in terms of multiplying profits, although it favors the the car owner in terms of legalese.

Car owners want rental so they can maximize profit from investment. It does not favor the driver in the sense that he is not working to own.

That said a shrewd driver will put himself in the shoes of the owner when negotiating instead of thinking what is in it for me alone.

Agreed that a driver faces a lot of risks on the road, but the car owner faces even more risk, giving someone who cannot afford 1m to 5m control of a property worth that much.

It is not easy to raise capital and that cost and the risk must be respected and rewarded.

Drivers must never ever forget that!

oga u want to take d driver to court, after collecting rentals of 35k and 30k are u not supposed to fix d car? Is it not d responsibility of d owner to fix d car. What's on d agreement letter? I own a corolla on ubar. I fix d car for my driver except minor fault. Those things u mentioned are major. U don't expect d poor driver to pay rentals and still fix all those fault. I blame him for running, he should have told u d fault for u to fix. Pity d poor man, u can see he has too many family problems.

The truth is that some of the partners here think they are doing u a favour by giving out their car, my brother you sing doing anyone a favour. ,its a business transaction, yesterday, I contacted ogs csrshopper and its being one busy excuse to another, if he is not busy driving then he will get back to me, The good thing is that I am not desperate about this whole thing, I got something doing and I still have a kia optimal 2005 which I can use but I don't really fancy the car but with the way bosses in the house are doing, I got no choice then to contact the owner .

Please remember its a business transaction and not charity.
