No need to Cc: anybody I wanted to get a second opinion.. I will get a new speed sensor, just to get the rite one at ladipo is another problem of its own .. Things like that is always better to buy brand new ... am not a mechanic o , but common sense will tell you so... this is why people should always follow the manufacture advice on oil change including transmission fluid ,which of coz you guys call it gear oil... no shaking thanks for your response
Let me save you a trip to the market and some disappointing results.

You have more than 1 Elantra, swap out the sensors and see the results.

Well it was scanned twice. First by my own scanner and second by the mechanic scanner . Both scanner brought out speed sensor. If you put the gear in drive, the car jumps and it takes a while to accelerate.. If you are going like 40miles per hour for an example, it takes few seconds to get there, but eventually it will get there.. Both scanners can't be wrong.. Transmission oil has been changed and service... to be frank with you, if I was to take an educational guest. My guest will be that the wrong transmission oil was used .. The elantra transmission fluid has a specific type that you must use.. I bought about 50liters last year that was specifically for elantra... well been a JJC the port rat made away with it. But for some reason none to them, they left me two liters ..
if you know, you know.

Sorry I get it now ..06 is the new body shape and that 06 is not rugged or design for uber... by the way how is your elantra doing? I will need a transmission speed sensor .do u know any good elantra parts seller.. Lately have been getting bad, very unreliable parts lately from ladipo.. I had to change alternator twice coz it was bad.. It didn't last two weeks after buying from ladipo. And when we try to return it, the seller didn't agree ,he said that the parts are not under warrant after one week
this part Seldom gets bad in an elantra.

To all my uber / taxify partners .. Am thinking about getting a Honda civic 05 or 06 for uber ..please any experience owners here.. I do have one 04 on the platform, which is doing fine.. Due to the fact that the currant driver likes it and treats it like his own . Like I always tell people, do your research well well.. So now am seeking a second opinion... thanks in advance, and also I was told that 04 to 05 are very rugged .but new shape from 06 upwards not so rugged
Don't do it! It's not designed for uber business.

Oviecardealer, there are times you might be tempted to open threads but you better have a very solid and water tight defense cos when the like of Lejeun3, banky3w, cosplay etc come for you, they'll literarily tear you apart. I've learnt from my short episode with and I've been seriously bruised, that's why you hardly see my adverts even when I'm ready to provide info like VIN etc.

As an agent, I have moved my services to the ports immediately the ban started, I only do Etls and transit papers for cars going to Cameroon and Ghana through land borders, I don't know anything apart from that. I'm struggling seriously to make my Tincan efforts translate to money, so I don't know zilch about lagos papers for Cotonou cars..... As long as you've stated it's legal and you can prove it, I wish you Godspeed bro....we all need money, some of us are seriously seriously broke because of this ban and we need money to sustain ourselves. Yes, I agree but I'll also suggest you tread softly cos these guys you're about to have fisticuffs with can seriously damage your online business...
@diportivo can you see grin

laughing out loud....firstly, with respect to saintjoel.nothing is impossible....beside, everybody has a limit as to how they carry out their job..we have different connections and technical know how.
I have been in nairaland for years now please take a look at all my threads, you would not see any body complied that i have don fake customs duty for them before in the past and recently that because i do not involve my self with that.....in my other trends i post pictures of vehicles and their customs duty online so any body can verify their authenticity .
I stop pasting customs document because most client want to keep their privacy
Having said that as the saying goes.... physical evident clears all doubts.....i will provide you with proves.....now i am going to obtain permeation from the clients i posted their vehicles pictures here to allow me paste the customs (C-NUMBERS ) so you and others can go to any customs command to verify if they are genuine.
when people start writing like this, one has to be careful with them.

I will also like to use this opportunity to thank my numerous customers who trusted me and used my services to precure their dream cars cheaply from Cotonou over the years.

Well...

As we all know, its no longer news that the federal government has closed down the importation of cars through the land borders and of which bringing in cars from cotounu was affected.

But do not worry....

Regardsless of the ban on importation of cars from land borders entry points like Cotonou,we still have our way of working with the authorities to buy cheap cars from Cotonou and bring it into Nigeria with out any form of hassles.

Yes...you heard me right.

What we normally do here is to buy these Vehicles in Cotonou, pay the stipulated duties in custom command at Lagos and use the Duty papers to drive these cars into Nigeria without any harrassment from custom officials.

And it is very legal...

I know you may be thinking.....

How can the duty reflect on the customs database when the lagos manifest does not show that the vehicle came through lagos ports?

Thats is not a problem...

As professionals in this field with years of experience in clearing and forwarding,we have come up with a means were we work with the authorities and ensure that the duty we paid appears in the customs database.

Now you may be asking....How do i comfirm that the duty paid appeared on the database?

Its very simple....

You can check with the C number or check with the bill of laden history and BOOMMMMM,you will see that the duty we paid on your vehicle actually reflected on the custom database.

My company,Arlit Automobile Nig Ltd,fully registered with the corperate affairs commision with RC NO 793554,will ensure everything about your vehicle is formalized and delivered to you in perfect condition.
