Have personally changed filter on an 07 which filter was located underneath as compared to what you have here

There might not be any difference but am sure engine wouldn't sit well in engine bay. Take a look at your front engine mount. The bolts that would be used to hold the engine mount to the engine won't fit in properly. Spotted one recently and it wasn't funny at all Honda Accord 2005 engine inside a Honda Accord 2007. Engine was running smooth but whenever the owner speeds and wants to brake down the engine and transmission suspends itself thereby making serious vibrations all over. Front mount never fit. We had to tell owner there was nothing we could do but he insisted we had it fixed. We later settled for reconstruction for the engine mount to fit properly

Useless engine oil. Have personally used it in my ride. That oil forms sludge. Am talking from experience. On carrying out another oil change the oil filter had sludge in it. Bad product I must confess

So I started looking inside the engine bay adn I noticed that someone removed the anti lock master brake cylinder and installed a non ABS unit

gasket has been changed and car has kicked successfully but refused to be accelerated.
once you pedal on it and try to raise, it chokes and goes off as if the accelerator is choking it.

my mechanic is lost... he checked the timing and it as correct and nothing wrong with fuel pump...

another mechanic suggested we try using another censor ...

any suggestion sir?

I think I may have fallen victim of a dubious transaction . I bought a Honda accord 2005 (EOD) and went for usual servicing only for my mechanic to tell me its a CRV engine with an EOD casing.

This is definitely fraud. please I need experts to tell me what I'm up against. What are the consequences of this on the vehicle and gear system. Thank you.

Was that the only code gotten? This code points to the upstream catalytic converter. Is your fan running directly? Do you still have your thermostat intact. When last did you tune your engine up?

Hello gurus in the house please come to my aid. My car consumption fuel rate was very high and the check light came up. I got it scanned p240 code came up. My mechanic checked and noted that the cat converter was off and needs a replacement (Gazzuzz also insisted on a replacement). I got it replaced hoping the fuel consumption rate will reduce but its still high. 3 days after I got the cat converter replaced I got a check light of which when my mechanic scanned it, i got a P2423 code. He notified that the sensor (a black cable with three wire running from the cat converter to the)needs to be replaced.
My worries now is that will that reduce the fuel consumption rate??

Please gurus in the house, come to my aid

What Causes the P2423 Code?

A P2423 code is caused by a number of possible problems, including:

Damaged or defective catalytic converter

Damaged or defective oxygen sensors (will typically accompany an oxygen sensor diagnostic trouble code)

Incorrect fuel use

Damaged or defective coolant temperature sensor

Damaged or defective mass air flow sensor

Damaged or defective manifold air sensor

Damaged or defective fuel pressure regulator or fuel injection system/components

Ignition misfire

Oil contamination

Possible leaks from exhaust components upstream from the catalytic converter

What are the Symptoms of the P2423 Code?

Warning or Check Engine Light may illuminate
Vehicle may go into “limp” mode
Vehicle may hesitate during acceleration
Vehicle may sound different when accelerating, making “hissing” noises
Engine may stall
Engine may not start
How Does a Mechanic Diagnose the P2423 Code?

A mechanic may use one or more of the following methods to diagnose a P2423 code:

Use an OBD-II scanner to check for a stored P2423 code

Inspect the exhaust system for leaks

Visually inspect all wiring and connectors for damage

Use a temperature gun to measure exhaust pipe temperatures before and after the catalytic converter

Measure upstream and downstream oxygen sensor operations on bank 1 with an oscilloscope

Upstream measurements should be between 0.350 and 0.900 volts in closed-loop operation
Downstream measurements should be around 0.500 volts and hold during the duration of the engine idle

Let me ask a question about the tracking device.

I bought my car Naija used with a tracking device i never used. Thats because the seller gave me the instructions and tracking number written with 2 digits skipped. I was told the 2 digits verbally but even a call to the number never went through. Fast forward to 2 days ago after about 3 years, i called the number and it rang with no answer. The number flashed me back an hour later. I didnt bother to reply the call. Its obvious it has been reallocated.

The only visible thing i see is the audio mic. I have never traced it to the tracker but may do. If i do, can i change the sim and possibly get it back to function? My car has never been immobilized by it.
