ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
These jobs are found in Country Offices (COs), Area (AOs) and Field (FOs) Offices. Job holders are based in Radio Rooms and typically report to an Information Technology Officer, Security Officer, or the designate.

At this level, job holders work in a team under minimal supervision and are expected to produce organised and accurate reports and technical work. JOB PURPOSE
To support telecommunications services in order to facilitate efficient implementation of security processes and procedures.

1. Coordinate with WFP Security staff and/or UNDSS Radio Room, to facilitate accurate and efficient security-related information flow following established standard operating procedures.
2. Responsible for monitoring and channelling all radio communications including tracking of WFP vehicle and staff movement, to ensure efficient 24-hour coverage of telecommunications services.
3. Produce regular and ad hoc reports including daily radio checks, and assist in preparation and dispatch of the summary of security incidents and other information to staff, to facilitate accurate, efficient and concise communication and information flow.
4. Provide efficient support and training to users on telecommunications equipment and procedures including Minimum Operating Security Standards (MOSS) requirements, to ensure effective use of telecommunications equipment.
5. Maintain inventory and provide recommendations for potential improvements, to support efficient planning and keep WFP telecommunications equipment operational.
6. Create and maintain databases (e.g. lists of call signs, addresses, telephone numbers, wardens, etc.), to ensure accurate information is available at all times.
7. Follow established emergency response processes and procedures, to ensure prompt assistance in case of emergencies.

Responsibilities
To study ITT documents and have a thorough understanding of the ITT requirements from the invitation documents.
To stores soft and hard copy of all the documents forwarded in response to any request is kept in a manner that it will be easily accessible, understood and retrieved if required.
Ensures implementation of procedures and that records are maintained and kept in a satisfactory manner.
Compilation of existing documents as requested from the ITT documents, creation of requested documents, packaging, and final submission of the proposal.
Prints invitation documents for review and stores same appropriately.
To update information on invitations received on the Bid Board
Identify and closeout required action points within stated time frames.
Compilation and classification of input from company departments and subcontractors.
Carry out Facility Inspection, gather required data, and enter information into the FIDS.
To communicates to the third party via e-mail and follow up to receive input.
Ensures printing, uploading or writing into a storage device, and packaging for submission as directed in the ITT document for submission to client.
Updating of the contact and tracking sheet and the Bid Board as submission is closed.
Follow up with client contact person on submitted proposal either through e-mail or phone call till confirmation of contract award and signing off contract documents.
Liaise with company departments on contract award and transition plan including Operations, QAHSES, Credit Control, HR, Contracts & procurement, and a transition manager from the Technical department

B.Eng in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
