Procurement:

Take inventory and identify reorder needs for supervisor’s approval.
Check order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and on time deliveries.
Create a comprehensive database of stock items, prices and movement.
Create a database of supplier, items supplied and the prices
Keep track of inventory.
Verify package meets all client specifications and client is satisfied.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, the person must have:
A strong 2’1 in any related field
Minimum of 1-year cognate experience
A background and/or certification in Supply Chain Management (basic procurement, clearance of cargo, transport, warehousing, asset management, etc.), a plus
Evidence of practical experience in logistics management, safety/security processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
Book keeping, inventory skills
Strong prioritization skills

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
First Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering or a related discipline from a reputable Higher Institution
Good communicator – verbal and written
Prior experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
High energy, highly motivated personality
Should be able to stand and walk for long hours.
Would frequently use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms while carrying out duties
Occasionally lift and/or move items
Working knowledge of automotive mechanics, gas and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, price trends and grades or quality of materials and equipment
Strong understanding of the hazards and safety precautions common to maintenance and repair activities.

Plan and implement family outings (shopping, community events, etc.); post on activity calendar.
Be a supportive and loving parent figure.
Screen all materials brought in by residents at intake and ongoing (i.e. books, music, magazines, videos, etc.) especially sexually explicit or satanic influences. Consult with Principal/Director when necessary.
Maintain discipline structure and document discipline administered on the Weekly Checklist. With the aim to build character, not to control.
Facilitate weekly house meetings (go over house issues/rules and meal-planning).
Conduct monthly fire drills.
At curfew check that doors are locked, lights off, alarm set, and commons area clean before bedtime.
Operations Duties:
Open regular line of communication with the House team
Professional contact with parents, pupils and employees of the School, and specifically the Health Centre, the Laundry, Cleaners and Maintenance Department
Knowledge and Skills Required
First Aid is desirable, but not a requirement.
Previous training on Childcare would be a useful addition.
Experience in Boarding School Management and in Childcare.
