MissMeiya:Imagine a Nigerian President showing support for identity fraud Nigerians are infamous for with his inaction against Omokri. I am personally not surprised because GEJ seems to love associating with and promoting criminals, crooks and individuals of dubious character. Nigeria has no good image today because of a President who has promoted brazen shamelessness and lack of decency everywhere. |
onatisi:Are you for real? Does Omokri not work for GEJ? Are his fraudulent actions not carried out for the benefit of GEJ? Dude, are you this morally compromised? Best to just say nothing sometimes than utter "don't give a damn" type things that make no sense, shame Nigeria and actually cause offence to morally upright and ethically balanced people. You may not know what obtains in civilised climes but Omokri's position would have become untenable long ago for a Presidency that does not wish to be stained by criminal/fraudulent conduct. Is this not how Ifeanyi Uba who is in court for fuel subsidy scam, i.e a potential criminal, was running around coordinating TAN for GEJ with the Presidency seeing nothing wrong with that fundamental breach? Some of you guys are just fascinating. Almost as if you have never stepped outside Nigeria physically and mentally thus you know nothing else to compare the "jungle" with. |
onatisi:Are you up to speed with the whole saga at all? If not then get informed. Omokri was exposed for the fraudulent use of the identity of others to carry out bigoted and propaganda-based attack against perceived enemies of GEJ. He was exposed because he carelessly and unintelligently failed to cover his tracks properly. It is a measure of the crookedness of GEJ that he has not seen fit to sack this vile and disgraceful chap. Anyway, it is the same President who pardoned a convicted criminal and sent him to the senate so we all know Omokri 'dey kampe' under GEJ. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reno_Omokri Reno has also courted controversy and was caught using a pseudonym Wendell Slimlin to spread malicious religious undertoned propaganda.http://omojuwa.com/2014/02/president-jonathans-media-aide-reno-omokri-exposed-as-wendell-simlin-the-propagandist-ekekeee/comment-page-1/ President Jonathan’s Media Aide, Reno Omokri Exposed As Wendell Simlin, The Propagandist – Ekekeee |
Caseless:This fellow is nothing but a crook and and a common fraudster. He is a failed diasporan who has now found favour in the 'lord' of the day i.e GEJ. Omokri is no different to the many crooks, thugs and criminals (Ifeanyi Uba, Tompolo, Teslim Folarin , Obanikoro et al) who have joined GEJ's train of corruption, destruction and poverty deliverance. The woman should not relent in her effort to see Omokri punished to the full extent of the law. This is the sad state Nigeria now finds herself in under GEJ. While militants and glorified oil thieves are handed sensitive pipeline protection contracts, with convicted criminals like Alamco pardoned and sent to the Senate, 'yahoo yahoo' fraudsters are marshalling GEJ's social media propaganda machinery . totally disgraceful government that needs to go so that Nigeria can begin to regain her respect and glory as a serious nation. |

Frankly,Fasehun is entitled to his opinion but it is Nigerians who will ultimately decide who is "fit" to rule Nigeria. Right now, and given the hideous corruption and misrule GEJ is now universally known for, Buhari is looking as "fit" as Usain Bolt. |
Afenifere Renewal Group is correct to warn Nigeria about hard times ahead. Nigeria, under the PDP,has become a cauldron of greed, myopia and selfishness. The PDP has promoted the most self-serving, most divisive, most destructive and most unconscionable form of politics possible. Something has to be done before Nigeria is destroyed. While I agree with the group's clamour for true fiscal federalism and devolution of power away from the inordinately powerful and corrupt centre I think this is the time all individuals and groups face the primary task at hand which is to assist the replacement of the failed PDP Government that has destroyed Nigeria over 16 years. The requests of ARG can only be tabled before a new, responsible, pro-people and sincere government fully committed to doing what is best for Nigeria and Nigerians. We all have 16 failed years as conclusive proof that the PDP is incapable of giving Nigeria such a government. ARG, as should be the case for all general or socio-ethnic developmental organisations, should take a decisive stand at this critical junction in our history in relation to the immediate task at hand which is the removal of of a Party that can only thrive when Nigeria is moving backwards. It is too late in the day to be imploring the PDP to give what the Party does not have to give. With an eye on rescuing Nigeria from its progression towards a horrific crash, focus must now be on removing the PDP from power in 6 weeks time. Everyone or group interested in the progress of Nigeria should play their part to make this happen. |
Adminisher:Leave these charlatans to continue deceiving themselves. One chap above even claimed diasporan contribution is swelling support for Buhari. Comical. GEJ's unexpectedly horrid misrule has forced a paradigm shift in the mentality of Nigerians. I spoke to my dad Christmas day and we talked politics for a bit. I was unable to convince the old man to vote Ribadu (my choice back then) talk less of Buhari in 2011. My dad was convinced GEJ was the right choice and went ahead to vote for him. This time I did not even have to say anything before he said "Buhari lo wun mi, Buhari ni emi ati mama eh ma di bo fun" i.e Buhari is my desired candidate, Buhari has the vote of me and your mother. My dad went on to tell me that majority of folks he knows, with many haven voted for GEJ in 2011, are solidly behind Buhari today. My dad is Christian, Yoruba and a big fan of educational prowess being a highly educated man himself. Yet his change in thinking and mindset, to accommodate Buhari, reveals a lot about how Nigerians have now come to face the reality some of us tried to show them in 2011. Now, many Nigerians have being forced to accept that being a good leader, with the interest of the people at heart, has zilch to do with religion, age, lofty academic qualifications, wearing no shoes to school et al. It should be about the innate character and quality of a leader, his readiness to lead a very poor people by example rather than use ten private jets and eat N1 billion food, along with consistent conduct over time which reveal a readiness to serve the masses and not those destroying Nigeria as GEJ prefers to do. Buhari is now shining brightly because of how GEJ has unravelled as a monumental fraud and an opportunistic looter. This is Buhari's time and destiny. |
ziccoit:100% correct. Nigerians now know that the boy is no longer without shoes. Rather, him and his friends have many mansions and private jets to store their million shoes in while the people wallow in worsening poverty. Nothing can save GEJ. He brought the oncoming disgrace upon himself by shunning the masses to make his government a corruption-centred deity that answers the prayers of the rapacious criminals, crooks and AGIP whose sole mission is to amass stupendous wealth at the expense of Nigeria. |
yibomustgo:Dude, this is a project in "business as usual" evil that cuts across all Nigerian ethnic groups, Femi Fani-Kayode is Yoruba and he is the most religiously bigoted of all the sycophantic supporters of GEJ. I am personally ashamed of him, Okupe, Abati, Mimiko and some others while the like of Fayose, Obanikoro, Adesiyan, Teslim Folarin et al are thugs and mercenaries who have always been 'guns for hire' to the highest bidder. This is a battle to liberate Nigeria from the tyranny of a rapacious elite made up of looters and unconscionable crooks from every ethnic group in our nation. Let us put aside the blame game and fight for the liberation of Nigeria and Nigerians. Happy new year. |
egift:In fact PDP is a big disgrace to Nigeria. 24 lies and 24 malicious propaganda per 24 hours. You are totally correct to say that the shameless and desperate PDP is now conducting itself the way the Party has led Nigeria for 16 years. |
Going by the discussions over the last week, does Sambo even exist? |
@Topic. Even in regards to corruption alone, minus everything else, GEJ deserves to be voted out. Pervasive corruption will always stifle the development and growth of any nation. Without tackling corruption, leadership effort in Nigeria simply resembles the futile attempt to gather water with a highly porous basket. |
whiterock:As usual, attack the messenger and ignore the message which is correct in its entirety. I hope you know that what you do here is something honourable and/or upright men would never do. Better to say nothing than deploy the shameful and condemnable tactics of attacking the messenger alone with the intention of diverting attention away from the 100% correct message. |
barcanista:As I have said already, your criticism is not meritorious or logical. That is the bottom line without us engaging in a needless back-and-forth that gets us nowhere. Answer me honestly. Do you know Osinbajo's entire campaign strategy? If the answer is no, then why criticise what he has done already, after only two weeks as VP candidate to Buhari, when you are not privy to his comprehensive campaign plans for the next 6 weeks? If he does what you want to see tomorrow will you now apologise retroactively when you should have simply being patient? Why not wait patiently to see what unravels over even the next two weeks and then contribute objective criticism of what you would like to see? Read above to see someone say Osinbajo should have visited Orphanages and Schools to note that everyone will have an opinion of how things must be done. If things are not doen their way then they shout their condemnations. This is how Nigerians are. We all know it is not possible to please everyone yet what is sure is that we should at least be willing to give those we have decided to support, because we believe them to be better than others, the benefit of the doubt. You appear unwilling to do this and merely waded in with entirely unobjective and indefensible criticism which seems an effort to play to the gallery. Take time to think things through. Find out,if you can, the plans the APC has for engaging Nigerians, at all levels, over the next few weeks before you join deceitul TANdroids to be insisting on what you must see, when you must see it and in which order this must be done. How many of us sit on PDP threads to be telling them what GEJ and Sambo must do? If you cannot recognise the deceit and duplicity of TANdroids you are engaging and empowering then I cannot help you even as I have tried. Thanks. |
mployer:Is Osinbajo done? Do we not have around 6 weeks of active campaigning to go? What if he visits orphanages and schools today? I bet you will turn round to ask why he has not visited the ordinary men and women on BRT buses and the suffering masses forced to hawk products under the hot Sun. You guys are incorrigible and only insecure APC supporters will take your mischievous, unobjective and malevolent criticism seriously. You do not know a man's complete plan yet you comment forcefully and negatively about the order in which he should do things. What does that make you as a person? I only pity APC supporters and Nigerians who do not know how darkly malevolent PDP fans are. They never stick to selling GEJ these days and fully concentrate on demonizing APC, GMB and Osinbajo alone. What does this tell smart Nigerians desirous of a great nation if not that evil folks wishing for a retention of the vile status quo have now embraced the oldest trick in the book which is to badmouth the opposition while slyly and deceitfully moving attention and discussions away from the ultra-failed incumbent who did absolutely nothing but move Nigeria backwards severely over 5 years? You people are fooling no one and you are certainly not fooling those on the ground who know where the shoe pinches. |
Collynzo419:I totally agree with you and I really do not understand Barcanista's point here at all. Trying to be popular and all things to all men can often make you grant concessions when such are not meritoriously warranted and indeed even weaken what/who you stand for to the advantages of vipers and Vultures who wish Nigeria to remain as it is. These TANdroids have no point at all with their facetious and idiotic criticism of how Osinbajo chooses to go about engaging with Nigerians. They have no intentions of voting GMB/Osinbajo anyway and will still refuse to do so if their god directs them to !!!! Indeed this is not the first time I have personally pointed out to Barcanista that these folks can never see anything good in what team GMB/Osinbajo say and/or do anyway!!!! I am really disappointed Barcanista said what is quoted below which sounds entirely like the utterance of someone playing to the gallery since it fails the test of objective and logical criticism. however, he should know that politicking goes beyond taking selfies and smiles on pictures. The intent should be to win the support of the masses and not political stunt that will no make any effect to the ticket. Popularity in Politics is different from celebrity popularity.Barcanista, with the above, is simply agreeing with all the TAndroids and their totally inane criticism. Osinbajo emerged VP literally 14 days ago and any objective person should know that this is only the start point of his own campaign strategy. Is Barcanista privy to the entirety of Osinbajo's comprehensive campaign plans from now till Feb 12 i.e the last day INEC sanctions for GMB and Osinbajo to 'sell' themselves? Why then is Barcanista eager to criticise myopically rather than support his corner and wait for the many other 'overdrive' campaign strategy team GMB/Osinbajo will be rolling out over the next 6 weeks that will show Nigerians many pioneering and innovative measures of a team really eager to engage the masses and show they, more than others, mean best for them? I really don't understand Barcanista's criticism which is hasty, without merit whatsoever and appears an attempt to be liked by all sides when such is not possible in the pursuit of a better Nigeria which will surely pit one against dark-minded and even evil folks determined to maintain the vile status quo our people labour under daily. |
All Nigerians will be delivered. Including the ones on this thread displaying chronic and severe "stockholm syndrome". Up GMB/Osinbajo. For those who do not know,Stockholm syndrome was coined to describe situations where those who are abused, oppressed and/or held captive forma twisted bond with their oppressor/s and refuse to show anything other than blind love and support for said oppressor/s. Below are some of features associated with stockholm syndrome. How many can read the list below objectively and tell me the OP and many like him, on this thread and on the ground in Nigeria, are not Stockholm syndrome sufferers only deserving our pity? Imagine the OP is the victim/abused. GEJ/Sambo/PDP are the abusers/controllers of the abused/victim and GMB/Osinbajo/APC are the liberators/well-wishers of the abused/victim. Does the behaviour/mental challenges of OP and others like him, which led to the creation of this senseless thread, not all make sense now? The bold part below, for example, is what OP is doing here with this childishly senseless attack on Osinbajo who is engaged in legitimate campaigning as fully entitled. God help our fellow Nigerians. They, along with all other Nigerians, will be 'rescued' by team GMB/Osinbajo whether they like it or not. http://counsellingresource.com/lib/therapy/self-help/stockholm/ Positive feelings by the victim toward the abuser/controller |

doctokwus:Indeed. If elections are free and fair then Nigerians will never refuse to embrace change - especially after the 5 disastrous years of GEJ. |
CrazyScientist:Why not just remain silent if you have nothing sensible to say? Can you give us the name of even one APC member that is in the government accused of making 20 billion dollars disappear? Is the name Alison-Madueke? Is it Okonjo Iweala? Is the "APC member" called Goodluck Jonathan? My friend it is not compulsory to speak. If you do not know the details about the missing money and those in charge of agencies, government ministries and parastatals that abetted the theft then shut up!!! It is not everything you sentimental , prejudiced and ignorant folks must play politics of enmity with. I will give you a clue by asking you to go and find out those running the NNPC. Kindly tell us, since 1999, of any PDP President that has appointed an opposition politician to run the NNPC or the Petroleum ministry. Nothing worse than an ignorant person who talks for the sake of talking alone. |
Exercise in futility. Mr.President, Nigerians do not want you. We have seen what you can do over 5 year and are convinced you are completely out of your depth and only able to take Nigeria backwards. IBB cannot save you now. |
Exercise in futility. Mr.President, Nigerians do not want you. We have seen what you can do over 5 year and are convinced you are completely out of your depth and only able to take Nigeria backwards. IBB cannot save you now. |
Keneking:Indeed. Maximum security is necessary for the duo because the PDP will get more desperate in January. |
tweeby:Amen - and we can help to make this happen by voting GMB/Osinbajo. After all, "heaven help those who help themselves". |
PentiumPro:This is because the man knows precisely what he is doing and is highly cerebral. I too believe he will win convincingly. Agbaje is wasting his own time IMHO. Koro cannot even come close to Ambode yet he would have done better than Agbaje. One word that has typifies the PDP as a Party is "stagnation". Many of the candidates the Party has presented nationwide are retrogressive characters who have been around forever. The APC on the other hand seems to never run short of the most brilliant and best-performing technocrats Nigeria is able to produce. Imagine Teslim Folarin emerging the PDP guber candidate for Oyo State? The same man locked up on a murder charge till GEJ ordered the AGF and IGP to secure his acquittal and fly him to Abuja in the presidential jet so that Folarin could deliver the Oyo delegate vote Jonathan needed to defeat Atiku at the PDP 2010 Presidential Primaries. The APC is not perfect but the PDP is just backwardly shameless and proud to display this with the way the Party is always recycling crooks everywhere. I believe 2015 us the year the PDP control of Nigeria will end at all levels. |
http://saharareporters.com/2014/12/27/general-buhari-unstoppable-now-joe-igbokwe General Buhari Is Unstoppable Now By Joe Igbokwe |
beopened:Indeed. I personally do not think it will even be close. I think Ambode will win convincingly as he did at the APC guber Primaries. |
Dasini:My brother, leave them to dream. A lot of Nigerians are sentimental to begin with. Combine this with the hatred some host for Tinubu and it will be obvious some folks are ready to reject reality and embrace fantasies in the quest to see a PDP/Agbaje win. I only feel sorry for those people and the disappointment they will feel. PDP has nothing at the grassroot level to trouble the APC with. APC has done it again with the choice of Ambode who is a genius and giant amongst men. I am predicting that it will not even be close. Agbaje, after the noise, may do worse than Dosunmu did against Fashola in 2011. Koro would have actually fared better IMHO. |
patrickmuf:I am really optimistic about Ambode. He actually ran the most comprehensive and robust campaign, of all the APC candidates, to sway delegate votes and gain the ticket. This therefore comes as no surprise. Ambode is appearing like a very proactive, highly prepared and purposeful leader. This really bodes well for Lagos. I am happy this man is my incoming Governor. |

Mtsew ,as if APC members are not in the government that 'supposedly' stole the 20billion.
