Press charges against that criminal. Prosecute!
Imagine a Nigerian President showing support for identity fraud Nigerians are infamous for with his inaction against Omokri. I am personally not surprised because GEJ seems to love associating with and promoting criminals, crooks and individuals of dubious character. Nigeria has no good image today because of a President who has promoted brazen shamelessness and lack of decency everywhere.

stop dragging the name of Mr President into this baseless melodrama . Are you for real? Does Omokri not work for GEJ? Are his fraudulent actions not carried out for the benefit of GEJ? Dude, are you this morally compromised? Best to just say nothing sometimes than utter "don't give a damn" type things that make no sense, shame Nigeria and actually cause offence to morally upright and ethically balanced people.

You may not know what obtains in civilised climes but Omokri's position would have become untenable long ago for a Presidency that does not wish to be stained by criminal/fraudulent conduct. Is this not how Ifeanyi Uba who is in court for fuel subsidy scam, i.e a potential criminal, was running around coordinating TAN for GEJ with the Presidency seeing nothing wrong with that fundamental breach? Some of you guys are just fascinating. Almost as if you have never stepped outside Nigeria physically and mentally thus you know nothing else to compare the "jungle" with.

This accusation is very very weak. There is no concrete proof that it was reno that even actually used that name and besides two or more people can bear the same name . There is no need for reno to even refute the allegations ,they woman can go to the appropriate authorities and report .
Are you up to speed with the whole saga at all? If not then get informed. Omokri was exposed for the fraudulent use of the identity of others to carry out bigoted and propaganda-based attack against perceived enemies of GEJ. He was exposed because he carelessly and unintelligently failed to cover his tracks properly. It is a measure of the crookedness of GEJ that he has not seen fit to sack this vile and disgraceful chap. Anyway, it is the same President who pardoned a convicted criminal and sent him to the senate so we all know Omokri 'dey kampe' under GEJ.

Reno has also courted controversy and was caught using a pseudonym Wendell Slimlin to spread malicious religious undertoned propaganda.

President Jonathan’s Media Aide, Reno Omokri Exposed As Wendell Simlin, The Propagandist – Ekekeee
The discovery by eagle eyed Twitter users that the Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Mr Reno Omokri, launched a smear campaign roping the recent upsurge in terrorist insurgencies around the country around the neck of suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, should be seen for what it is: an insidious act unbecoming of a Presidential aide and which should cost Mr Omokri his job.

A regular Twitter user, Feyi Fawehinmi (@DoupleEph) had asked Journalist and Blogger, Abang Mercy (@AbangMercy) to forward him an email making the rounds and received by the latter linking the worrying spate of killings in which more than 200 persons had lost their lives (including 43 college kids) in Nigeria’s turbulent North East region in the space of four days, to the suspended Sanusi Lamido who has since dragged President Jonathan to court for legal breaches in ousting him. The revelations that followed from Fawehinmi’s Twitter Timeline would have the online community buzzing for a while. The emails, written by a certain Wendell Simlin have since been traced to Mr Omokri who handles the President’s social media brief . Mr Omokri’s name turned up after the mails were subjected to a property and digital footprint analyses. As the backlash from furious Twitter users aimed at Mr Omokri’s Twitter handle intensified, Mr Wendell Simlin’s Facebook page got yankedoff cyberspace. The microsoft document from where the inciting email was attached bore Mr Reno Omokri’s name. Wendell Simlin has since been discovered to be Reno Omokri and Reno Omokri, we have since found, shares the same flesh and soul with Mr Wendell Simlin.

This fellow is nothing but a crook and and a common fraudster. He is a failed diasporan who has now found favour in the 'lord' of the day i.e GEJ. Omokri is no different to the many crooks, thugs and criminals (Ifeanyi Uba, Tompolo, Teslim Folarin , Obanikoro et al) who have joined GEJ's train of corruption, destruction and poverty deliverance.

The woman should not relent in her effort to see Omokri punished to the full extent of the law. This is the sad state Nigeria now finds herself in under GEJ. While militants and glorified oil thieves are handed sensitive pipeline protection contracts, with convicted criminals like Alamco pardoned and sent to the Senate, 'yahoo yahoo' fraudsters are marshalling GEJ's social media propaganda machinery . totally disgraceful government that needs to go so that Nigeria can begin to regain her respect and glory as a serious nation.

California Woman Accuses President Jonathan’s Aide, Reno Omokri, Of "Wendell Simlin" Identity Theft
BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORKDEC 31, 2014

A California woman, Deborah Campbell, disclosed that she has reported President Goodluck Jonathan’s social media aide, Reno Omokri, for identity theft. Ms. Campbell alleged that Mr. Omokri used her son’s name to engage in forgery.

In telephone calls as well as emails to SaharaReporters, Ms. Campbell said she was determined to clear her son’s name and get Mr. Omokri punished. She said she was appalled that Mr. Omokri used her son’s name, Wendell Simlin, to create a Facebook page. Ms. Campbell added that the president’s aide proceeded to use her son’s identity to create a fake document that sought to link Nigeria’s former Central Bank Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, to terrorism.

Mr. Omokri, who claims to be a pastor, is President Jonathan’s main point man on the social media circuit.

The son of a deceased Nigerian appeal court justice, Mr. Omokri notorious for creating fake social media accounts to burnish President Jonathan’s image and demonize opposition politicians.

An investigation by SaharaReporters revealed that the real Wendell Simlin lives in Hercules, California.

Ms. Campbell claimed that she is married to Omokri’s brother-in-law, adding that the presidential aide had exploited the relationship for criminal purposes.

PoliticsRe: Afenifere Is Talking......Omo Yoruba, Listen! by Gbawe: 8:43am On Jan 02, 2015
Afenifere Renewal Group is correct to warn Nigeria about hard times ahead. Nigeria, under the PDP,has become a cauldron of greed, myopia and selfishness. The PDP has promoted the most self-serving, most divisive, most destructive and most unconscionable form of politics possible. Something has to be done before Nigeria is destroyed. While I agree with the group's clamour for true fiscal federalism and devolution of power away from the inordinately powerful and corrupt centre I think this is the time all individuals and groups face the primary task at hand which is to assist the replacement of the failed PDP Government that has destroyed Nigeria over 16 years.

The requests of ARG can only be tabled before a new, responsible, pro-people and sincere government fully committed to doing what is best for Nigeria and Nigerians. We all have 16 failed years as conclusive proof that the PDP is incapable of giving Nigeria such a government. ARG, as should be the case for all general or socio-ethnic developmental organisations, should take a decisive stand at this critical junction in our history in relation to the immediate task at hand which is the removal of of a Party that can only thrive when Nigeria is moving backwards. It is too late in the day to be imploring the PDP to give what the Party does not have to give. With an eye on rescuing Nigeria from its progression towards a horrific crash, focus must now be on removing the PDP from power in 6 weeks time. Everyone or group interested in the progress of Nigeria should play their part to make this happen.

Buhari is beating Jonathan on the streets as well. Talk to taxi drivers, bus conductors, market women and students.
Leave these charlatans to continue deceiving themselves. One chap above even claimed diasporan contribution is swelling support for Buhari. Comical. GEJ's unexpectedly horrid misrule has forced a paradigm shift in the mentality of Nigerians. I spoke to my dad Christmas day and we talked politics for a bit. I was unable to convince the old man to vote Ribadu (my choice back then) talk less of Buhari in 2011. My dad was convinced GEJ was the right choice and went ahead to vote for him. This time I did not even have to say anything before he said "Buhari lo wun mi, Buhari ni emi ati mama eh ma di bo fun" i.e Buhari is my desired candidate, Buhari has the vote of me and your mother.

My dad went on to tell me that majority of folks he knows, with many haven voted for GEJ in 2011, are solidly behind Buhari today. My dad is Christian, Yoruba and a big fan of educational prowess being a highly educated man himself. Yet his change in thinking and mindset, to accommodate Buhari, reveals a lot about how Nigerians have now come to face the reality some of us tried to show them in 2011. Now, many Nigerians have being forced to accept that being a good leader, with the interest of the people at heart, has zilch to do with religion, age, lofty academic qualifications, wearing no shoes to school et al. It should be about the innate character and quality of a leader, his readiness to lead a very poor people by example rather than use ten private jets and eat N1 billion food, along with consistent conduct over time which reveal a readiness to serve the masses and not those destroying Nigeria as GEJ prefers to do. Buhari is now shining brightly because of how GEJ has unravelled as a monumental fraud and an opportunistic looter. This is Buhari's time and destiny.

100% correct. Nigerians now know that the boy is no longer without shoes. Firstly, I don't state my views to impress people. I state my views based on my own interpretation. I know many are interpreting me as someone who wants to be on the good books of everybody. But the fact remains that I am my own person, you may agree or disagree with me but insinuating that I was shallow and trying to be pleasing is inappropriate. If I don't state my opinion just to adopt another that I don't subscribe to, I do myself and humanity a big disfavor. When Muhammadu Buhari disagreed with ANPP as regards the Government of National Unity by Yaradua in 2007, people called him names- but it was his position. Gbawe, I believe that criticism should be welcomed for improvement as long as it isn't hypocritical. I also believe that my worst critic should be my[ associates. I don't believe in "Yes Sir" syndrome. I never expected this, but thank you!
As I have said already, your criticism is not meritorious or logical. That is the bottom line without us engaging in a needless back-and-forth that gets us nowhere. Answer me honestly. Do you know Osinbajo's entire campaign strategy? If the answer is no, then why criticise what he has done already, after only two weeks as VP candidate to Buhari, when you are not privy to his comprehensive campaign plans for the next 6 weeks? If he does what you want to see tomorrow will you now apologise retroactively when you should have simply being patient? Why not wait patiently to see what unravels over even the next two weeks and then contribute objective criticism of what you would like to see? Read above to see someone say Osinbajo should have visited Orphanages and Schools to note that everyone will have an opinion of how things must be done. If things are not doen their way then they shout their condemnations. This is how Nigerians are.

We all know it is not possible to please everyone yet what is sure is that we should at least be willing to give those we have decided to support, because we believe them to be better than others, the benefit of the doubt. You appear unwilling to do this and merely waded in with entirely unobjective and indefensible criticism which seems an effort to play to the gallery. Take time to think things through. Find out,if you can, the plans the APC has for engaging Nigerians, at all levels, over the next few weeks before you join deceitul TANdroids to be insisting on what you must see, when you must see it and in which order this must be done. How many of us sit on PDP threads to be telling them what GEJ and Sambo must do? If you cannot recognise the deceit and duplicity of TANdroids you are engaging and empowering then I cannot help you even as I have tried. Thanks.

I bet you will turn round to ask why he has not visited the ordinary men and women on BRT buses and the suffering masses forced to hawk products under the hot Sun. You guys are incorrigible and only insecure APC supporters will take your mischievous, unobjective and malevolent criticism seriously. I only pity APC supporters and Nigerians who do not know how darkly malevolent PDP fans are. They never stick to selling GEJ these days and fully concentrate on demonizing APC, GMB and Osinbajo alone. What does this tell smart Nigerians desirous of a great nation if not that evil folks wishing for a retention of the vile status quo have now embraced the oldest trick in the book which is to badmouth the opposition while slyly and deceitfully moving attention and discussions away from the ultra-failed incumbent who did absolutely nothing but move Nigeria backwards severely over 5 years? It is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but I have noticed a new strategy you are using. It is as if you want to come across as fair in your comments and want to create a notion that you have balanced views on issues. This strategy is good but do not let it becloud your judgement.

I have 2 issues with your post....

1. I don't know why any person will criticize his pictures with fellow Nigerians. The fact is selfies and pictures with smart phones are a reality of this generation, it is what young people do and enjoy- as you would know they form the majority of voters as well. The internet is a strong tool to win the hearts and minds of voters. You are an APC supporter so you should know that the general feeling is that Buhari is stern, rigid and a disciplinarian. Oshibajo is there to balance that perception. Oshibajo is fun, friendly, intelligent and younger.

2. Let us be clear, the day Prof Oshibajo was nominated as a VP candidate of APC, he stopped being just the pastor of Redeem, he is now a prospective VP to all Nigerians, whether Christian, Muslim, pagan, atheist etc. If these so called Christians are unhappy with his association with other Nigerians that they deem 'sinful', they can shove their fundamentalist crap down their pfucking throat.

Will these so called 'Christian voters' object to his visit to the Muslim Northerners in Obalende?

It is good to criticize and provide balanced opinions but let us do it with sincerity.
I totally agree with you and I really do not understand Barcanista's point here at all. Trying to be popular and all things to all men can often make you grant concessions when such are not meritoriously warranted and indeed even weaken what/who you stand for to the advantages of vipers and Vultures who wish Nigeria to remain as it is. These TANdroids have no point at all with their facetious and idiotic criticism of how Osinbajo chooses to go about engaging with Nigerians. They have no intentions of voting GMB/Osinbajo anyway and will still refuse to do so if their god directs them to !!!! Indeed this is not the first time I have personally pointed out to Barcanista that these folks can never see anything good in what team GMB/Osinbajo say and/or do anyway!!!!

I am really disappointed Barcanista said what is quoted below which sounds entirely like the utterance of someone playing to the gallery since it fails the test of objective and logical criticism.

however, he should know that politicking goes beyond taking selfies and smiles on pictures. The intent should be to win the support of the masses and not political stunt that will no make any effect to the ticket. Popularity in Politics is different from celebrity popularity.
Barcanista, with the above, is simply agreeing with all the TAndroids and their totally inane criticism. Osinbajo emerged VP literally 14 days ago and any objective person should know that this is only the start point of his own campaign strategy. Is Barcanista privy to the entirety of Osinbajo's comprehensive campaign plans from now till Feb 12 i.e the last day INEC sanctions for GMB and Osinbajo to 'sell' themselves? Why then is Barcanista eager to criticise myopically rather than support his corner and wait for the many other 'overdrive' campaign strategy team GMB/Osinbajo will be rolling out over the next 6 weeks that will show Nigerians many pioneering and innovative measures of a team really eager to engage the masses and show they, more than others, mean best for them?

I really don't understand Barcanista's criticism which is hasty, without merit whatsoever and appears an attempt to be liked by all sides when such is not possible in the pursuit of a better Nigeria which will surely pit one against dark-minded and even evil folks determined to maintain the vile status quo our people labour under daily.

For those who do not know,Stockholm syndrome was coined to describe situations where those who are abused, oppressed and/or held captive forma twisted bond with their oppressor/s and refuse to show anything other than blind love and support for said oppressor/s. Below are some of features associated with stockholm syndrome. How many can read the list below objectively and tell me the OP and many like him, on this thread and on the ground in Nigeria, are not Stockholm syndrome sufferers only deserving our pity?

Imagine the OP is the victim/abused. GEJ/Sambo/PDP are the abusers/controllers of the abused/victim and GMB/Osinbajo/APC are the liberators/well-wishers of the abused/victim. Does the behaviour/mental challenges of OP and others like him, which led to the creation of this senseless thread, not all make sense now? Jonathan not fighting corruption – Ex-ICPC chair

A former Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, Justice Mustapha Akanbi and the Chairman, Anti-Corruption Commission, Nigerian Bar Association, Mallam Yusuf Ali (SAN) have said that the President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration is not serious in the fight against corruption.
The two decried the increasing rate of corruption in the country, saying nothing tangible and substantial was being done to address the trend.
They spoke in interviews with journalists on the sidelines of the public lecture on “Corruption – the bane of our society,” organised by the Amicus International Club in Ilorin , the Kwara State captal, on Tuesday.

Akanbi, who is a former President of the Court of Appeal said corruption, kidnapping and other societal ills were on the increase in the country and that government institutions and the judiciary were not helping in curbing corruption.
Akanbi said, “Honestly, I do not see what is being done about corruption now. I ask myself these questions: Does it mean that all the governors are corruption-free? Does it mean all the legislators are corruption-free? Does it mean the judiciary is corruption free? We know that it is happening but people are not being arrested, no action is being taken and the end result is that people accept bribe with impunity now.
“At least, if they had taken few people to court, we would have known that something is being done. There is a general lull and the fight against corruption has gone down completely.

“Now, when you look at many people wanting to be governors, is it because they want to serve their people or that they want to go and chop? It is apparent that many of them want to enrich themselves because they know that when you go there you make money and become wealthy, ditto going to the legislature. Yet people are suffering; there is no development. Corruption, kidnapping and other ills of the society have gone on the ascendency.
“Honestly, in case of the governors, who have been arrested? We know about Oduahgate and the billions of naira that Sanusi alleged was missing. The terrible thing is that the judiciary is not helping.

“The indices are that the moments are dark, the clouds have thickened, corruption is escalating.”
Ali said that Jonathan’s administration was not fighting corruption at all and urged Nigerians to know that corruption makes all the citizens poorer in the short and long run.

He said, “I have said this long time ago, there is no drive against corruption by the current government and that is quite obvious because the President believes that there is no corruption in Nigeria. He believes that what is going on is petty stealing.
“So, if he doesn’t believe there is corruption, you can’t hold him for not driving any anti-corruption war. If somebody doesn’t believe there is a problem then he would not be obliged to look for solution.”

This is because the man knows precisely what he is doing and is highly cerebral. I too believe he will win convincingly. Agbaje is wasting his own time IMHO. The APC on the other hand seems to never run short of the most brilliant and best-performing technocrats Nigeria is able to produce.

Imagine Teslim Folarin emerging the PDP guber candidate for Oyo State? The same man locked up on a murder charge till GEJ ordered the AGF and IGP to secure his acquittal and fly him to Abuja in the presidential jet so that Folarin could deliver the Oyo delegate vote Jonathan needed to defeat Atiku at the PDP 2010 Presidential Primaries. The APC is not perfect but the PDP is just backwardly shameless and proud to display this with the way the Party is always recycling crooks everywhere. I believe 2015 us the year the PDP control of Nigeria will end at all levels.

General Buhari Is Unstoppable Now By Joe Igbokwe

What happened in 1993 between Alhaji Bashir Tofa and the late Chief Moshood Abiola of the blessed memory is about repeating itself in Nigeria in Nigeria today. Before the June 12 1993 presidential elections, handlers of Alhaji Bashir Tofa knew that comparing Bashir Tofa and Chief Abiola is like Apples and Oranges comparison.

General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd)

They knew that it is like comparing a giant with a dwarf. They knew that there is no basis for the comparison, and if it is a 100m dash Chief Abiola would have hit the tape while Tofa is at the starting point. The handlers led by Dr Doyin Okupe initiated a strategy to hit Chief Abiola from all corners and try to panel beat him to Tofa’s level. They failed miserably and woefully too. In the process of doing that they helped in no uncertain terms to catapult Chief Abiola to an unprecedented height. The rest is now history.

In 2015, the reckless, useless and fraudulent historians and hack writers are at work again. This time it is a battle between President Jonathan and General Muhammadu Buhari. Buhari has contested presidential elections in 2003, 2007, 2011 and even though he did not make it, he gave a good account of himself. Though he was cheated out, he got millions of votes. He remained consistent, committed and courageous even in the face of all the troubles he had to go through. President Jonathan became a deputy Governor and through luck he became Governor, Vice president and now President and he would have ruled Nigeria for six years by next year.

In 2015, Nigerians will take stock. Nigerians are looking back, they are looking at the present and as well as the future. In the past sixteen a lot of water has passed under the bridge. Nigerians have seen a lot. Devastated, pillaged and gang raped in all fronts, Nigerians are now thinking seriously. Shall we continue with this mess? Do we have an alternative? Can we do things differently? Is Nigeria a basket case? Are we helpless and hopeless? Are our destinies in our hands? Can we bring the change we all desire? Can we raise the bar of leadership in 2015? Can we recover our stolen country? Many hard questions demanding hard answers. After the 2011 elections, General Buhari said he may not seek the highest office again. But the crisis of leadership in our country has pushed him to throw his hat into the ring again. He has been compelled by the forces of history to step forward again and this time it is a different ball game. General Buhari of yesteryears is no longer the same Buhari of today. Things have changed. Time has changed. The calculations, equations and permutations have changed. Nigerians want Buhari to come clean up the Augean Stable PDP led federal government is leaving behind. GMB is coming to change the way we think and the way we work.

But the enemies are at the door again. The thieves are at the door once again. They are with guns, bombs, Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (IBM), Rocket Launchers (RL), Warships, Jet fighters, Bows and Arrows, AK-47s, etc to shoot him down. They tell us he is a Religious Bigot, an Islamic fundamentalist, a semi-illiterate person, too old and too weak to get things done. They are still manufacturing every bad thing under the sun and are heaping them at GMB’s doorsteps.

They are desperate, vicious, hopeless, helpless and potentially dangerous. They are doing everything humanly possible to stop and if possible to kill General Buhari. This is the reason why l want maximum security for General Buhari now.

These meretricious mediocrity can pull the house down to remain in power. They are ready to slaughter thousands to remain. They are ready to continue to divide the country to remain in power.

The corrupt people and criminals in the land will do everything humanly possible to stop Buhari. We have seen them at work. They know the consequences of General Buhari’s presidency. They know that he is a no nonsense man. They know he will fight criminals head on. They know he is going to remove feeding bottles from their mouths. They know he will do things differently. They know his puritanical disposition and they know he will stop at nothing to stop the mess in the land. General Buhari may be a religious bigot, he may be a fundamentalist, he may be a dictator, he may be an old man and semi illiterate, he may be everything they claim he is but these congenital liars from the pit of hell will kiss the dust. They will swallow their words when the chips are down. They will go down with their pathological lies when it dawns on them that no 21st century idiot will stop an idea whose time has come.

They can call General Buhari names, they can call him anything but it will amount to nothing. Those who claimed they are PHD holders have disappointed us. Those who claimed they are not dictators have bruised and oppressed us. Those who claimed they are young brought shame and mediocrity to us. Leadership is not measured by height or age. Mr Webster wrote Webster Dictionary at the age of 80. Buhari remains a candidate to beat in the 2015 presidential election and I pity these characters who will dare to stand on his way. I pity those who did not know when the train left the station. I sympathize with those who did not know when to call a spade a spade. I fear for those who did not know that an idea whose time has come is here. I worry that history is leaving some people behind in Nigeria. I fear that some compound idiots who have ruined Nigeria for years are yet to come to terms with GMB’s towering personality.

TIME WILL TELL

Please pay no heed to that Son of Eli

Only he knows an information that even those who contested against Ambode at the Primaries didnt know nor use against him
Indeed. I personally do not think it will even be close. I think Ambode will win convincingly as he did at the APC guber Primaries.

Let them continue to sell lies on internet, is it PDP in lagos that can barely boast of structure in lagos, nor a party that has continually failed the nation that wil defeat a party that has worked well, a template for Nigerian democracy, I stay in shomolu/onipanu, let us not be deceived, PDP is nt on ground. Another thing is that they have nothing to campaign with, has the incubent performed, they can't deny that, for me PDP is nt needed in lagos.
My brother, leave them to dream. A lot of Nigerians are sentimental to begin with. Combine this with the hatred some host for Tinubu and it will be obvious some folks are ready to reject reality and embrace fantasies in the quest to see a PDP/Agbaje win. I only feel sorry for those people and the disappointment they will feel. PDP has nothing at the grassroot level to trouble the APC with. APC has done it again with the choice of Ambode who is a genius and giant amongst men. I am predicting that it will not even be close. Agbaje, after the noise, may do worse than Dosunmu did against Fashola in 2011. Koro would have actually fared better IMHO.

A step in the right direction... Proactive rather than reactive...
I am really optimistic about Ambode. He actually ran the most comprehensive and robust campaign, of all the APC candidates, to sway delegate votes and gain the ticket. This therefore comes as no surprise. Ambode is appearing like a very proactive, highly prepared and purposeful leader. This really bodes well for Lagos. I am happy this man is my incoming Governor.
