Francis5:Do you people have no shame? Why not go to the polls and make GEJ President on your own as you have always claimed you had the power to do these past few years when we warned you not to burn your bridges as we all need each other? Now that reality is sinking in the chest-beating ("aboki will never smell power" et al) is gone to be replaced with pathetic and childish scaremongering. For years we showed you the simple 'majority' mathematics that would work against GEJ if he continued to misrule Nigeria but you disregarded that and continued with your ego-driven and vainglorious chest-beating and mocking of others as if the Presidency is now an ethnic affair which "Yarobus and gambari will never smell" never mind that even a child knows that any well-supported and bridge-building major ethnic group in Nigeria has a chance to produce the President at any general election. That is the reality all your insults and emotionally childish outlook cannot wish away. This is now the time for you guys to man up and take whatever is coming . You made the horribly failed and universally condemned GEJ your world and continue to do so unapologetically even to the extent of alienating yourselves from other major Nigerian ethnic groups and insulting them as if politics is an ethnic "do or die" fight. We are sick of all these scaremongering threads from people who are petrified they have sentimentally and clannishly placed all their eggs in one basket and all are about to be broken. I would advise you to take your lessons from whatever the future presents but all these scaremongering threads just show that you and others like you are unreasonable and immodest people who still don't see what they need to see, have no humility, view others disrespectfully and operate with an undemocratic disdain for what the majority wants. Goodluck to you and yours. |
ROSSIKE:Abeg go and take your drugs. Pathetic junkie. No one takes you seriously around here because you are an ideologically fraudulent mongrel. Racist loser. |
ROSSIKE:Mumu, Buhari has made a success of his life while you are nothing but a diasporan loser turned bitter racist. Pathetic fool. |
ROSSIKE:Failed diasporan loser, how was hustle today? Stuupiiid nonentity, you are not in the category of posters I deem worthy of a serious response. |
This is no news. The USA has openly condemned the corruption going on under GEJ . They are not at all impressed by his efforts against terror either. If the truth be told, many leaders in the West want GEJ out. For Boko Haram alone, GEJ is seen as a very weak link. In an age where it is imperative for fast-moving intelligence to be shared worldwide without delay to aid a globally cohesive and united fight against terror, GEJ will be deemed a very 'dangerous' leader who will make it feasible for acts of terror becoming an everyday way of life in all nations on earth. Jonathan is duplicity and insincerity personified and it is not rocket science to assume that world leaders, recognising how irresponsibly dangerous he is for the rest of them, must detest him and his government. |
bakila:One of the best contributions here. Are these "Fulani slave" taunts from vile bigots and prejudiced folks supposed to becloud our reasoning to the extent we will forget that Nigeria needs rescuing and that, for now and given the convergence of circumstances on the ground, it is a Fulani men best placed to lead that rescue mission? The bigots should not stop. Call Yorubas what you want. We are not driven by the spirit of vendetta, divisiveness and hate that motivates the OP and others like him. A Nigeria that is working under Buhari and other good men/women, from all ethnic groups of our nation, is ample rewards for the vile name-calling the Yorubas are currently receiving from enemies of progress like the OP. They have tried blackmail and scaremongering and it has not worked. Now they think they can , with petty insults, provoke the Yorubas to reject doing what is in the best interest of Nigeria and generations unborn. Sorry. No can do. |
NewNigeriaMind:You have time responding to that ethnocentric cretin. For objective observers the world over, what is culled below from an article about Buhari and Osinbajo dethroning GEJ and Sambo is the simple reason many Yorubas, when they had supported GEJ in the past, will not vote for him today. It is a shame, after all that Nigeria has witnessed under GEJ, that some folks still want to play the ethnic and religious card. Even my neutral non-Nigerian West-African friends (from Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ghana et al) are entirely supportive of the removal of GEJ because of the loss of glory, wanton corruption, incessant killings and backwardness they see Nigeria has suffered under this man. Let some ethnocentric Nigerians continue to tie their fortunes bigotedly to GEJ. They merely continue to ostracise themselves from all well-meaning Nigerians doing this. http://saharareporters.com/2014/12/29/why-buhari-and-osinbajo-should-win-2015-elections-malcolm-fabiyi Fast forward to 2014, and much has changed. Goodluck Jonathan and Buhari are now the only major presidential contenders. Gone too is the unprecedented goodwill that brought Jonathan good fortune in the 2011 elections. By turning his back on the masses that brought him to office; by insulating himself from the Nigerian people and responding to well-meaning criticism with the insensitive barks of garrulous spokesmen; by encouraging corruption at an unprecedented scale, and playing politics with the most sensitive security menace that the Nigerian nation has faced in over four decades, Jonathan has frittered away probably the broadest coalition ever assembled for a political cause in Nigeria. |
eliment:Indeed. |
sanmibukunmi:Very well-stated. Have the Yorubas not marched for and supported Jonathan electorally to help him become what he is today ? Or is the real pain of some folks precipitated by how Yorubas have now distanced themselves from supporting a man supervising the destruction and failure of Nigeria which we know is precisely what some vengeful souls are praying for? Perhaps the real issue is the fear of some anarchists and secession-minded 'enemy within' who are unhappy the Yorubas may help to bring a halt to the free-fall into hell GEJ is supervising. 2,000 Nigerians were killed, without much said, around the same time the death of 12 people in France caused international outrage . This is the sort of chaos-ravaged Nigeria some vengeful "chop sand" exponents have always prayed for. They thus see GEJ as a messiah because he is helping to deliver the Nigeria of their dreams i.e one which is failed and in misery in hope their so-called "enemies of old" will be dejected. This is why an ordinary exercise related to the constitutional rights of Nigerians to vote and be voted for has been turned into an issue of ethnic division, clannish intolerance, unpatriotic scaremongering and anti-nation hatred by some people. |
django1:Yoruba ke? The same fool who once asked "why are we Yorubas always acting like parasites" in a thread about oil whereas all real Yorubas know, aside even the substantial contribution of oil from Ondo to the national coffers, exactly our worth to Nigeria and what we bring to the table . He merely lives in the SW. He is not Yoruba. His views about Yorubas has never been complementary. In fact there are many like him who claim to be "Yoruba" yet laugh with bigots all day long , as he does here, when Yorubas are attacked unjustly. In fact this Anonimi chap, along with the likes of Aljharem et al, is an example of the most dangerous category of Nigerians existing. I.e the 'enemy within' who lives in your midst and speaks your language yet rabidly hates you and is always waiting to plunge a knife into your back the minute you turn around. At least we know the OP is a revolting bigot who hates the Yorubas yet more dangerous is the fellow who, because he lives in the region and speaks Yoruba, pretends to be Yoruba only to then be taking sly shots against his so-called ethnic group even when they have done nothing wrong as is the case here. Is it not ethnocentric madness to be calling Yorubas names because we have rejected a man who misled Nigeria horribly for years? Where is our sense of nationhood and responsibility if we just succumb to ethnic bigotry, as others have done, to then pledge blind support for GEJ when he is destroying Nigeria? A leader who , as a latest show of his 'madness', was condemned universally for sending a condolence message to France over the death of under 20 people at the hands of terrorist yet said nothing about the killing of around 2,000 Nigerians by Boko Haram? Is that the sort of President Yorubas should support because of ethnic jingoism? No. We are not wired that way. Let those who see ethnicity above everything simply meet us at the polls and spare us their immature name-calling bullcrap and scaremongering that only makes Nigeria appear a Country full of asininely aberrant folks. |
Calculia:Your hate-filled and worthless thread is nothing but the usual attempt to wind up Yorubas because of the vendetta-driven chip you and others carry on your shoulder 27/4. Intelligent Yorubas will only feel sorry for you because we know what drives this thread and others similar to it. As long as Nigeria remains a nation, the Yorubas will continue to show they understand the meaning of nationhood and the concept of doing the right thing by recognising the right of any Nigerian to vote and be voted for. We do not let bigotry and prejudice against other ethnic groups blind our sense of morality or fairness to all or indeed our duty to Nigeria. We will not simply support you blindly because you claim to be our "southern brother" and we will not idiotically reject Fulani Nigerians because your kind insist they must be perceived our enemies. We will do what we feel is best for Nigeria and for generations unborn and your taunts does not concern us and will not influence our electoral choice because we do not glorify in wrongdoing or having perpetually hateful and vengeful hearts as you do. Sit here , along with your fellow hate-filled losers, starting one repulsive thread after the other simply because the Yorubas support Buhari, a Fulani man, for meritorious reasons which has nothing to do with his ethnic origin. Where were you when GEJ won all States in the SW, bar Osun, in 2011? Should the Yorubas have been called "Ijaw slaves" back then also? The question must be asked why it is you and your folks who must turn simple free-will political choice all Nigerians are allowed to make into issues of ethnic enmity, bigoted hatred and childish name-calling. The joke is on you, and other cavemen like you, for this display of backwardness and immaturity. |

AirborneLacer:The worst example of a man is one who lies to himself. Continue deceiving yourself and others like you. As if we do not know your motivation and mindset. |
BraniacX:Who is this attention-seeking cretin? My uncouth friend, take a hike. I am not interested in your incoherent drivel. |
HzRF:If you do not know a Nairalander then you should desist from quoting that person with your ignorant assumptions all for the sake of politics of enmity killing your kind. Do you know what I do or where I live? You should "laff" at your own ignorance and empty bellicosity. Dumb ignoramus. |
cocoduck:Just look at yourself ranting pathetically because of the indoctrination handed down to you that you blindly embraced without question. If you genuinely want Biafra, how do you plan to gain it if not by staying in the SE States and making them great and exemplary models of what the Igbos can do in their own space? The world only sees hypocrisy when you shout Biafra yet you remain the most nomadic and migrant ethnic group in Nigeria with ostensibly the least attachment to your own region of origin. No one will take you seriously until you stop talking and begin acting to prove to the world that you understand "charity begins at home". |
cocoduck:If you cannot move on from the war then why not completely stay away from others you love to blame for all your woes and vilify 24/7? Is that not what a principled and upright person will do? Is your hypocritical, indoctrinated and one-sided hatred of others one your unprincipled mind switches off conveniently when it is time to benefit from other Nigerians financially and curry favours from them? Worthless hypocrite. |
olas24u:Don't mind them. I know at least twenty Nigerian youngsters, who are the children of modest Nigerians , studying in the UK. Ignorance of reality and how the world works is a big problem for many Nigerians. |
JiggamanGh:My friend, stop the insult against all Nigerians. The ungracious posters you are dealing with here are the hardened and often ethnocentric fans of a discredited president who has run Nigeria into the ground with his corruption and crass incompetence. As we speak, there is a real effort to oust President Jonathan at the polls which is supported by majority of Nigerians. We are fed up of him and know what we must do. Kindly ignore the clannish fools who insult Ghanaians because they do not speak for majority of Nigerians. it is never wrong for well-meaning Ghanaians to care about Nigeria same as it is also proper for gracious Nigerians to mean well for Ghana. When it is the turn of Ghana, and barring any miracle from the current President, I will also be urging Ghanaians to vote out Dramani Mahama so that economic health and prosperity can return for the nation. |
@OP You are over-intellectualising a simple matter. The world does not take Nigeria seriously because the perception is that Nigeria is not a serious or sincere Nation under GEJ and the PDP. The Chibok girls development has totally destroyed the credibility of GEJ and Nigeria in general. Don't forget the entire world had to watch as Nigerians themselves, mainly the supporters of President Jonathan, taunted the missing girls and their family by claiming "Chibok kidnapping a scam". The world has simply moved on from the insincerity of Nigeria because no one will continue caring for a people whose leader and government do not appear to care about them. |
AirborneLacer:Please spare me your delusional hypocrisy. This is nauseating from you guys. If you all have truly moved on from the war and have a balanced perspective about issues , as your migration everywhere seems to suggest, then how is Buhari , for his dedicated service to his nation, "a man who isn't worth it" when the entire world knows you give traditional titles to Andy Uba et al? This is the hypocritical, clannish and ethnocentric madness that has engulfed Nigeria today. We will see Buhari cursed out all day long by the same people who have no qualms conferring national awards on undeserving crooks and pardoning a criminal like Alamayeisegha to then send him to the Senate. You and others should stop the hypocritical display and just cut to the chase to tell us that no Hausa, Fulani or Yoruba man deserves your traditional title. |
funkiebully:Please spare us your nauseatingly hypocritical and hateful bullcrap. Buhari was doing his job as a professional soldier fighting a war he did not cause, and would probably have preferred to avoid, on behalf of his nation. Yet folks like you have turned him and virtually every dutiful Hausa, Fulani and Yoruba soldier into "child killers" and "genocidaires". You all remain full of hate for others over a war you should get over yet you have no problem going to live amongst and profit from those you claim "hate you" and "want to wipe you out" when money is the issue. That denotes crass materialism and lack of principles. Buhari never asked for this title and the show of hate from you and others here show that your clannish mentality is limited to taking from others with no intention of giving them anything in return. Buhari has probably received similar ceremonial titles throughout Nigeria from numerous ethnic groups without fuss yet it is people like you who must make a 'world war 3 ' issue out of this inconsequential matter. You may hate Buhari because of your own prejudice, myopic outlook and ethnocentric bias but he is a great Nigerian. Even criminals and armed robbers, who have never done anything good for anyone, get traditional titles all over Nigeria and in your region so 'kini big deal' with Buhari receiving one? You guys should let go of the civil war-centred hate that clouds your reasoning so badly. |
thewarrior72:All because he gave Buhari, a fellow Nigerian, a ceremonial title when nations even bestow such on non-citizens? The hatred of your kind must be a very special one because it is blind to reason and logic. |
aresa: Dude, that is just plain wicked. @Egungun Calabar ![]() |
FastShipping:birds of a feather ......... |
@OP Fayose is one of the most foul-mouthed most unrefined , most thuggish most uncouth politician Nigeria has ever produced. He is simply revolting and can only belong to the odious PDP. No surprise to me at all. |
tochukwuifeduba:@OP. You have no shame . Do you not know that alzheimers and Parkinson syndrome are two different conditions? You think that lumping them together as one will make your ethnocentric scaremongering more potent? Bro, you are no good at this. You and others only lose GEJ more support. I beg you to continue creatimg threads like this. Thanks in advance. |
theV0ice:Because GEJ, sorry to say, is a glorified con man. He abets the major problems of Nigeria and then pretends, in the effort to deceive local and international critics, to be looking for solutions for those problem with all these 419 committees and task force he has no intention to take seriously. This is what a Nation gets when a defender of corruption and selfish vested interest is placed in the most powerful office in the land. The rejection and discrediting of the Ribadu petroleum task force report, almost more than anything else, indicates conclusively that GEJ is a big part of the problem of Nigeria and a major clog in the wheel of national progress. |
FreeGlobe:Why are you so shameless? Do you think anyone believes what you wrote above? GEJ is corruption personified and he is the 'director' of all the corruption ailing the Nigerian oil sector. Sensible folks know that a criminal sitting on his own case, as judge, will never move against himself. That is the case with GEJ . We all saw how GEJ dircted his attack dogs (Okupe, Abati, omkri, orasanye, Otti, Allison-Madueke et al) to undermine and discredit Ribadu and his report and you now come here to tell us about "implementation in the 2nd tenure". Shame on you. Also, you can continue to rant about North/SE or SE/North but this only reveals how mentally unstable you are and others are because you are the same set of people who badmouthed the North here 24/7 for the past 4 years . Now that a Yoruba is VP to Buhari you are already sycophantically trying to forge an unprincipled and 'prostitute' alliance with the "Gambari" North you recently claimed are "illiterate born-to-rule" who will "never smell power" . Comical to see how the Yorubas are now your 'enemy of the day' because of the candidacy of Osinbajo you assume grants them positional future advantage should Buhari become President. The day you and others like you begin seeing , as a long term consideration, what is best for all Nigerians, rather than focusing on ethnicity always, is the day you will become politically astute and productive. |
JonBee1:Opari my brother !!! This is why I laugh when some try to sell so-called !achievements" of the ultra-corrupt GEJ government so that the messiah they worship out of ethno-religious bias can gain another 4 years to further destroy Nigeria with. Ribadu's recommendations were simple enough and all within the powers of GEJ to implement without delay. For example, Ribadu demanded that Nigeria, as the only major exporter of crude doing so, must stop selling our crude oil through traders as this theft against Nigeria and aided corrupt practices robbing the nation of income. GEJ simply pretended he did not see this recommendation. Sensible Nigerians know that this is because our President is a complicit part of the theft and fraud going on in the oil sector. This is precisely what Buhari, a sincere man, meant when he said his government will stabilize the oil market/sector only for clannish mischief-makers and enemies of progress to hijack and warp the utterances of the General for their own unpatriotic purposes. This is an example of GEJ showing he is a part of the reason why Nigeria's biggest problem continue unresolved whereas Nigeria only needs and has always needed a President who will rise against anything/anyone helping to aid the biggest problems facing our nation for their own selfish benefits. Nigerians vote wisely and vote the only option that will guarantee your children have a bright future. In Febuhai, vote Buhari for sincere and pro-people leadership and reject GEJ who, as one example out of many, the dumping of the Ribadu report shows conclusively is only ruling for the private jet oligarchs, militants, AGIPs ("any government in power" ) and all the corrupt elements who continue to impede the progress of Nigeria. |
You PDP fans are not even ashamed. It is like following SaTAN blindly and endorsing everything the evil one does. How many times has Ambode mentioned GEJ in his quest to become Lagos Governor? Yet Agbaje cannot go anywhere and face his ambition. He must lick GEJ's azz, put Buhari down and deliver the usual scaremongering "GEJ or no oil/peace" empty blackmail. One would think Agbaje is competing to depose "bastard" Okupe as the greatest azzlicker of GEJ rather than contesting for the position of Lagos Governor. Pathetic. Agbaje never stood a chance anyway but his desperate and senselessly sycophantic antics will see him disgraced at the polls because Lagosians, probably the most sophisticated electorate in Nigeria, are watching and noting how unfit Agbaje sounds to lead a local government let alone the entire State. Even those who were considering him would now have no choice but to reconsider their support for him. |
