Frankrobbn1: Thanks Frankrobbyn. I have applied for MA, my application is in process but don not have a supervisor. I have emailed every available professor in that department no one is responding. Also I have a letter of offer in Project Managmemt (PDG) already from UniWinnipeg. I work as a project management assistsnt in one of the big NGOs in Nigeria. Am just thinking that if the letter of offer for Ma doesn’t come can I go ahead with the PDG. My intention is to go for a Masters of PHD after the pdg program. Thanks |

Frankrobbn1: Yes the terminal benefit can be easily accessible and exported. A document showing the breakdown of my terminal benefit is also available. My job is just to provide my company any account number (whether in Nigeria or Canada/America) i want the money deposited into, luckily i have a Bank of America account, so the money will be transferred there a month after separation. 5.6m is for living expenses as i would have paid my tuition (14000CAD)before applying. |

Frankrobbn1: No my terminal benefit is what is all my entitlement once i separate from my organization (not a personal loan). Though will get an intro letter from my office, but plan to use my emolument as POF when applying and this runs to up to 12m. I also have a personal savings of 5.6m. So can i use my separation benefit as POF? |

Frankrobbn1: Frank thanks for this, but i intend to you my terminal benefit as part of my POF? Though will still collect letter of introduction from my company. Is it acceptable as my study is for 2 years. How do i explain this in my SOP (terminal benefit as POF)? Regards 1 Like |

WEIRDPC:I filled my form myself. I just used my friend’s address who by the way is also on student permit. I used my card to pay. He/ she doesn’t have to fill the form for you. It’s just his address you need. |

Cherryola: Google for how to get gcms notes. You need to a Canadian address. Ask anyone you know to make use of their address and you will only have to pay 5cAD but you will about 40 CAD if you use a Nigerian address. Please google and get more information on how to get it. 1 Like |

hurricanesgrace:I called the school and told them the reason I couldn’t use my school ref letter as I graduated almost 12 years ago. Was told I can use a professional reference in my office so far they will be able to mention something about my academic in the letter. Still waiting for the admission though! |

2-) CURRENT EMPLOYMENT SITUATION Every embassy will like to satisfy themselves that the applicant has a gainful employment in their country of residence and that the prospects of getting a job when they loose their current one is high. That satisfies them that you won’t leave your job when you travel to their country. Canada’s High Commission is no exception. You need to prove to them that you’ve been working for at least 2 years continuously, you earn a good salary, say CAD$400- CAD$1,000 plus a month depending on the level of your education, you have leave to travel, and you are qualified for the job you are currently employed in. So add your CV, school certificates, previous and current job offer letters, leave letters, pay slips and introductory notes from your firm to evidence your employment. "That satisfies them that you won’t leave your job when you travel to their country" I planned to your my official terminal benefit as part of my POF as my office doenst keep jobs for staff. Am scared with this phrase, please i need your advise. Can anyone answer this as the bulk of my POF will be coming from my terminal benefit. |

mcobex: EE is good, but what if you have been battling with getting great bands in IELTS. IELTS is discouraging so many people into applying for EE. |

Greetings all: I applied for PDG and submitted my application in June 2017 and not response till December 2017 and was refused. Find below their response: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. Though i have been working for about 15 years after my degree and have a masters but was advised to apply for PDG. I am reapplying for Sept 2018 intake how do i go about it. Should i go for another masters or PDG? Thanks |
