someborry:Patience solves it all! This just concluded training was a quick one which was done within few weeks apart. In short, one day or two max in btw. A day after interview, u have ur medical. But it still depends on the Mgt decision and the need to induct u in. If u have passed interview stage, ur as good as in, unless u get spiritual issues that u refused to settle. NBPlc is an organized company hence they do their things in an organized manner. |
kennykale:Have a nice weekend y'all[/quote]This man! U again! Anyway, nice update for peeps and to everyone expecting news from NBPlc, u have to keep calm. January is always a busy time for many organized companies as NBPlc especially for their previous year performance review. It is safe to say news might not be heard until later in the month. Well, whichever way, everyone has to tighten up all loose ends around u cos NBPlc no dey accept wack performance and as @kennykale has said, that u pass thru the interview and medical test does not mean ur in already. In fact, the hard work has just begun cos if u fail that CAP 1 test (a very technical test), ur as good as gone from NBPlc. But be calm everyone, we are all destined for the best this year and it will happen IJN! Those of us inside now will be glad to have u guys join us soon. Kennykale, ur face is hidden in the hotel but it's accessible on Nairaland, I fear u! Happy Sunday to everyone. |

Happy New Year Hopeful NB peeps! May we have a better 2016 IJN... |
wayinoma:Well, u may know what I do not but I am sure u do not even knw enough of what I have known of this woman, on first hand I must say too! I leave it at that also |
wayinoma:I said she left or resigned to dedicate her time to academics. I didn't say she left to join the academics. To decide to Dedicate ur time to something is different from joining or starting something. So my use of English word wasn't ambiguous |
I.really wish I cld say all I've got for this great woman but words fail me. I was not only taught the art of theatre, drama and film dissecting, I was also taught so many virtues by this woman of great substance! Professor Mrs Foluke Ogunleye, a woman who toed the path of great men in the theatre successfully, was not just a workaholic but also a leader who led by example (Dr Kola Oyewo will attest to that). For someone to climb that height of Professorship from PhD within less than a decade is astonishing and astounding especially coming from a woman. She has told us, as Executive Members of the Departmental Association in 2008, that for whatever reason people have decided to vote or choose u to lead them, do so with so much humility and passionately just as u have to lead them especially in ur academics. She was a model for many and mother to all. A shining light and example of the accomplished products of Dramatic Arts, OAU who have in past 8 years bn bringing the whole world of theatre to Ife with her biennial International Film Festival and conference. A lil above 50 years, no doubt OAU and Nigeria by extension has lost a great and rare gem in Foluke Ogunleye, nee Adesina! Rest in Perfect Peace Prof! U will be remembered for the many great lives u have touched and for ur ingenuity and media dexterity... Sleep on ma till we meet to part no more. Adieu! |
ogaprime:Yes. she was in Mount Zion's Ministry for a long time before she left to dedicate her time to academics. |
Merry Xmas to NL's NB family! It's bn awesome having everyone on this thread through all the phases of this year's two recruitment process. I pray that we all shall leap for joy henceforth IJN! Happy New Year in advance too |
spirit88:This man! I'll find ur brother and get u too! |
Good evening guys. I hope u are enjoying the waiting even though I know how tiring it cld be. One thing y'all need to know is that NB Plc is an organized company and they do stuffs at their own specified pace, no matter how fast or slow it is to u/us. U have to keep the highest level of hope and belief as u await whichever result of ur expecting cos it may not be this year and it may even be tomorrow. the first batch they dis this October, I must tell u, is the fastest I've ever heard of since I started applying for NB Plc Sales Executive position. This was quick and no one expected so. I had to be shuttling btw Akure and Lag every 2 days till we concluded medicals so u shd knw how quick it was. That was awesome and fast right? So also u have to anticipate the slow and steady pace and then u adapt quickly. NB Plc will be fair to everyone, as I often say, they will give and consider the best and most especially those who has the favour of God! U need to keep keeping on even as u keep every bit of hope alive. DO NOT GIVE UP! And do not rest on ur oars of NB Plc, give other coys trials, spread ur CV and who knows, u may be lucky with a great offer as NB's or better. Whatever result ur waiting for, hope for the best! January is almost here, they cld have suspended the process but they also do not need to inform u abt that. Warm regards. CHEERS! |

Hello, it's bn ages oh (Actually some months)..I guess many people in this forum are already with the NB Plc. I just thought to check back on the thread. |
tinaupsky:Of course, they can. if they haven't gotten their required number |
tinaupsky:If u have checked ur spam messages and it ain't there. it may be that ur on the waiting or stand by list |
deobking:Well, according to the HR manager, the Dec 1st date stands and messages will get in before the week runs out. However, he advised everyone who's to resume next week to plan to resume. So @deobking, don't misinform people jare. Thanks |
kennykale:This man! What is ur own sef? U wan make people go hyper? |
Godditex:Not a pro but at least know the basic rules for driving and focus more on manual cos it's the .anual that u will be tested on the road with. then get to learn abt the road signs. |
Dave008:How come u apply when u can't drive? it's part of the basic and core requirements na. u must know how to move a car at least even if it's not pro level. u better go and start a fire-brigade driving class |
kennykale:Lol... Guy! u wan give people Hyperxxxxxx ni? Abeg oh |
kennykale:Do they have to call the referees before the hand out the offer letters? if that is the case, then it's taking century to happen. |
