Thank you fam. Please how do i know the available date for appointment? TheGuyFromHR: I paid $603 on Monday, 3 August, but the pound has been rising against the dollar over the last week, so that could be what you have there. The UKVI payment provider processes payments in USD. |

Thank you very much. mimilyrics: Yes, as long as your account shows that you've held the funds for at least 28 days before your application, it's not a problem. |
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Gbeskey: 6:35pm On Aug 11, 2020 |
29 days statement is still valid for submission right? mimilyrics: Oh! You've got no problem then. You're good to go. Pardon my earlier assumption. |

The money has actually been in my account since 1st of July mimilyrics: Yes. The extra day is because I'm not sure if you started counting from the day the money got into your account or the the day after. If you started your count from the day after, Thursday is good but if otherwise, Friday is better. |

Thank you very much. meaning i would have to wait and print the statement out on Friday right? mimilyrics: Add an extra day to be on the safe side. July 15-Aug 13 which is 29 days will cover for any error in counting on your part. |

Thanks fam. I am actually planning to use GTB bank statement too and what a relive. Because gaining access to any GTB banking hall now is hell. TheGuyFromHR: Yes, you can, as duchess90 has confirmed. I did so with my GTBank statement. Here's the relevant extract from page 20 of the document at the link she cited:
"If you wish to submit electronic bank statements from an online account, these must contain all of the details listed above. In addition, you will need to provide a supporting letter from your bank, on company headed paper, confirming the authenticity of the statements provided. Alternatively, an electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp of the bank in question will be accepted. This stamp should appear on every page of the statement". |

God bless you.I think am good to go. mimilyrics: The 28-day period is the period for which the money must be in your account before your application. Once you submit your application, just print the statement for the 28-day period and upload. Not being able to get an early biometrics appointment won't have a negative impact on your 28-day period statement. |

Thank you for the swift replies. Here comes the confusion, what happens to my 28days bank statement since it is supposed to be valid prior to the day I make payment and with the way people are finding it difficult in getting appointment selection please what advice can you give me in that regards. mimilyrics: Yes, after payment and appointment selection. |

Thank you very much. But i can only upload my documents after payment right? mimilyrics: You'll upload the documents stated on your CAS in addition to other supporting documents like your bank statement /sponsorship letter, TB test certificate, ATAS certificate (if required), marriage certificate (if required), birth certificate (if using your parents' statement(s)) and any other documentation that supports your personal situation.
You will upload all these documents by yourself if you choose the self-upload and you'll need to upload this before you attend your biometrics appointment but if you choose assisted upload, the VAC staff will scan and upload your documents for you. |

Thank you justwise: You have nothing to worry about, your school rep is talking nonsense, you only make transaction if the printout did not show date on it then you can pay any amount into the account before printing the statement. |

Similar to what my uni rep said. I think have got no choice than to do the needful by obeying Thank you. solarinde: With my understanding, that advice is true. Since the day of payment that you start the account does not count . E.g, you made all your deposits on 10th June, for you to be able to track that payment as your closing balance, it is Adviced that you deposit to that account on the 11th June so that when you want to print you can print your statement from the 11th June which will capture your deposit on the 10th as your balance . If you are going to print out the statement after 28th day which should be 8th July, it is advisable to make payment (say 1k) on 8july and print your statement on the 9th. I stand to be corrected. But this had worked for me. |

Please what as transaction got to do with the statement of account showing one's proof of maintenance funds? I deposited my funds since 30th of June without any transaction in the account till 15th of July, only for my sch rep telling me that I would start counting my 28days from the 15th of July and then make another transaction a day before I print out the account statement. Gurus in the house I am lost at this very point. |

I am a bit confused when it comes to the bank statement. Please is it compulsory to go to the bank before sending one bank statement for visa application. Or one can actually do it through the Internet banking platform.E.g Gtb has an option on their platform where you can actually request for your statement to be sent out. |
